I won’t go into details, but everything should be all right. No cause for alarm. In short: We had to call the ambulance to pick up my grandfather (layout of the house: we live upstairs, he and aunt live downstairs) since he was having trouble breathing. We feared pneumonia, but in fact it was a… get this… pulmonary blood clot. Yes, that does put some water in the lungs but it also plays havoc with your body too. The important thing is that they got it early so they’re working on getting rid of that. It’s not great but it’s fixable and everything should be all right. And panic is then replaced by relief in a sense.

I would like to show you Exhibit A of why I fear registering for my courses in Concordia…

Just think - 10 trees were killed so I could register. Now the little hitch is that I have to meet with advisors from BOTH departments (Sociology and Education) before I can register starting next week. (Yes, ALREADY. Dear God.) So expect to see my schedule up maybe even in PHP format (if I dare) in a few weeks.

I really need a job. Not in the “pressure mounting” sense but in the “I REALLY need a new computer” sense. I was going to go tomorrow but now I don’t know what’s going on and I might need to stay home or go out so we’ll see. If I have to stay at home I can entertain myself by watching Canada beat Sweden.

I can’t think of anything else to say so I’ll just kick a ball around.
