[Dark
Match]: Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Los
Nuevos Power Rangers (Ludxor, Super Nova II and Venum II) defeated
Los
Vatos Locos (May Flowers, Nygma and Picudo) when Ludxor pinned
Nygma
after a Frankensteiner in 0:14:46.
Rating:
* 1/4
Not
much to say about this one, except that it wasn't the worst match
of
the night. Ludxor and Venum took to the sky a few times, while May
Flowers
kept tossing in anything he could find for Nygma and Picudo to
use.
Finish came when Flowers tossed a flower pot to Nygma, but Super
Nova
intercepted it and cracked it over Nygma's head! Ludxor hit the
Frankensteiner,
and that was it. At least the fans didn't mind it,
but
it could have been a bit shorter.
WELCOME
TO GUERRA DE TITANES: FIN DE MILENIO!!! We are coming to you
*live*
from Arena Mexico, in Mexico City! There's lots of questions
to
be solved tonight, and plenty of great action to come! Will
Xochitl
Hamada pull off a huge upset against Pentagon? Will Abismo
Negro
lose his mask? Will Perro Aguayo lose his hair - again? And
will
Octagon walk out of the arena with the Mexican National
Heavyweight
Title around his waist, or does Blue Demon Jr. have
something
up his sleeve? We'll find all that out later tonight, but
now,
let's head to the ring for our first match!
MATCH #1: Kaori
Nakayama (c) vs. ??? - Mexican National Women's Title
Match - ONE FALL
Speaking of questions that need to be answered...
Kaori
comes to the ring, not knowing who her opponent is, except that
she's
formerly from ARSION. After Kaori comes to the ring, the ring
announcer
climbs into the ring.
"Ladies
and gentlemen... WELCOME TO AAA'S GUERRA DE TITANES: FIN DE
MILENIO!"
*HUGE pop from the crowd*
"The
first match is scheduled for one fall, with no time limit, and it
is
for the Mexican National Women's Title! Introducing first, from
Japan,
weighing in at 115 pounds... The *reigning* Mexican National
Women's
Champion... KAORI NAKAYAMA!!!"
Kaori
gets a good reaction from the crowd, as she looks at the
entranceway...
And some Oriental music starts up. (Think: Kaz
Hayashi's
music in WCW.)
"Her
opponent... From Yukki Country, Japan, weighing in at 128
pounds...
And making her AAA debut... RIE TAMADA!!!"
Tamada
comes to the ring, dresses in a full bodysuit. She goes
nose-to-nose
with Kaori, and the two exchange words... THEN THE BELL
RINGS!
Guerra De Titanes is officially underway!
Both
women jaw for a few more seconds, until Tamada hits the first
move
of the match, a clothesline. Another clothesline by Tamada, who
pauses
to glare at the fans. This allows Kaori to go for a bulldog,
but
Tamada blocks and counters with a monkey flip. Kaori gets up and
goes

The
Mexican
National Women's Title is on the line here, and both women
need
to get up! Who's up first? It's going to be... TAMADA!
Tamada
picks
up Kaori, and Kaori tries to kick her, but Tamada catches the
foot...
Uh-oh... ENZUIGIRI TO THE HEAD! Tamada goes down to her
knees,
while Kaori leans against the ropes to steady herself! Tamada
charges
at Kaori, but she moves out of the way, and climbs to the
top...
FLYING DROPKICK! Kaori pauses to catch her breath, then
bodyslams
Tamada! Kaori jumps to the top rope... OOH! KAORI MISSED

Tamada pinned Kaori Nakayama with the Dragon Suplex in 0:09:01.
Rating:
3/4*
(Rie
Tamada won the Mexican National Women's Title.)
Good
opener! Tamada simply allowed Tropicasas to raise her hand and
hand
her the title, then made her exit. Kaori, with a towel over her
nose,
slowly followed.
MATCH #2: Pikachu
(c) vs. Mewtwo - Mexican National Minis Title Match
- ONE FALL
Mewtwo
taunts Pikachu before the match, and flips him the bird. Not a
smart
thing to do, in any event. Pikachu charges at the bell, but

down
to check on Pikachu... Yeah, right! MEWTWO TEARS OFF PIKACHU'S
MASK!
Pikachu rolls out of the ring, covering his face, but not
before
Mewtwo *spits* on Pikachu! That was terrible! Pikachu's

to the back, and Mewtwo follows, showing off the belt to the
fans,
who aren't too impressed.

Ultimo
Guerrero and Moto Cross defeated Rey Dragon and Matt Hardy when
U.
Guerrero pinned R. Dragon with the Reverse Superplex in 0:12:39.
Rating:
** 3/4
Guerrero
and Moto Cross more or less run backstage, while Dragon is on
his
knees, in shock. Dragon may have made a huge mistake in going for
the
Reverse Superplex, and Guerrero made him pay for it - big time.
The
rudos take this one home - and they do it cleanly, no less.
After
the match, it was announced that AAA was working on *forcing*
Steve
Corino and Eddy Guerrero to return to AAA, to defend their
Mexican
National Tag Team Titles! Apparently, if Corino and Guerrero
do
*not* come back within thirty days to defend the titles, they will
be
*banned* from wrestling in Mexico, and will end up paying a *large*
fine
for stealing the belts! As well, Ultimo Guerrero and Moto Cross
will
receive a Mexican National Tag Team Title shot in the near
future!

Apache
isn't leaving the ring yet, though! After spitting on Casas,
Apache
takes off his boot, to take out a little pebble... AND THERE'S
A
METAL PLATE ON THE BOOT! No wonder Casas went down like a brick
after
that dropkick! Apache laughs, as Casas slowly gets up, and
grabs
the microphone...
"ENOUGH!
Apache, I've had it with you! It's time to end this thing!
I
want you, one-on-one... IN A HAIR VS. HAIR MATCH! *pop* Any time
you
want to finish this, I'll be waiting for you!"
WHOA!
Bold challenge by Casas, but Apache's laughing... AND NODDING
HIS
HEAD! Apache *wants* Casas in a Hair vs. Hair match! Both men
agreed
to it, and now, all we have to do is sign the contract! When
it
happens, it'll be great!
MATCH #6: Xochitl Hamada vs. Pentagon - Mixed Match - ONE FALL
I'm
sorry, but it just looks weird to see Pentagon and Xochitl in the
ring,
ready to fight. At least this one should be competitive.
Pentagon
takes the microphone before the match starts...
"Listen...
Xochitl, we don't have to do this. Really, there's no
use..."
...AND
PENTAGON ATTACKS BEFORE THE BELL! Pentagon's going for some
lefts
and rights, but Xochitl's covering up in the corner! Tropicasas
is
the referee, and he separates the two before the match *officially*
starts.
Pentagon goes for a clothesline to start, but Xochitl rolls
underneath
him. Pentagon tries again, same result. The third time
Pentagon
tries, Xochitl replies with a dropkick! Xochitl whips
Pentagon
into the ropes, but gets taken down with a shoulderblock in
return.
Pentagon *nails* Xochitl with a punch to the chin, and it's

night.

Xochitl
relinquishes the hold, and Pentagon nails her with an elbow to
the
head! Xochitl's dazed, and Pentagon whips her into the ropes,
ducks
a clothesline, and... KNOCKS OUT XOCHITL WITH A SUPERKICK!!!
That's
got to do it! Pentagon... Nope, he isn't going for the pin.
