AAA House Show (12/04/1999)

(Location: Celaya, Mexico.)

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Geo, Nemesis and Abeja Africana beat Los Nuevos Power Rangers
(Discovery, Ludxor and Venum II) 2 falls to 0:
x A. Africana beat Discovery via an armbar submission in 0:15:43
x Nemesis beat Ludxor via the Flying Dropkick in 0:23:42
Rating: *

Pretty basic opener.  Some nice stuff by both teams, but nothing too
impressive.  Abeja forced one of the four semi-finalists in the AAA
Caged Fury Tournament, Discovery, to submit in the first fall, then
Nemesis nailed Ludxor with the Flying Dropkick in the second fall to
complete the sweep for the rudos.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Matt Hardy and Rey Dragon beat Los Vatos Locos (Nygma and Picudo) 2
falls to 0:
x R. Dragon beat Picudo via the Stardust Press in 0:13:21
x R. Dragon beat Picudo via a flying cross body press in 0:17:00
Rating: * 1/4

Surprisingly decent match, given what Dragon and Hardy had to work
with.  Dragon did all the work here, and Picudo managed to get pinned
both times - via the Stardust Press and a flying cross body, to give
the tecnicos a sweep.  Matt Hardy and Rey Dragon continue to impress.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
El Mosco, Super Nova II and Heavy Metal beat Moto Cross, Binary and
Shiiba 2 falls to 1:
x Binary beat Nova II via the Y2K Crash in 0:12:34
x Mosco beat M. Cross via an Asai moonsault in 0:16:16
x Mosco beat M. Cross via the Northern Lights Suplex in 0:20:00
Rating: * 3/4

Another decent match.  First fall came when Super Nova and El Mosco
collided with each other after a miscommunication, allowing Binary to
hit the Y2K Crash for the pin.  However, Mosco decided to take his
frustrations out on poor Moto Cross, and despite a brave fight, he
went down twice thanks to an Asai moonsault and the Northern Lights
Suplex, as the tecnicos get a well deserved win.

First Blood Match:
Miss Janeth and Xochitl Hamada defeated Ayako Hamada and Kaori
Nakayama in 0:07:16.
Rating: 1/4*

Well...  Um...  Er...  Kaori kinda got busted open here, but she's all
right!  Really.  Add to that the fact that Xochitl Hamada busted Kaori
open...  With a bottle, if that's what you were wondering.  Besides
that, it was a pretty boring match, basically filled with brawling and
a tope from Janeth.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Felino beat Ultimo Guerrero 2 falls to 1:
x Felino beat U. Guerrero via the Splash Mountain in 0:08:58
x U. Guerrero beat Felino via the Reverse Superplex in 0:20:29
x Felino beat U. Guerrero via the Splash Mountain in 0:31:25
Rating: ** 3/4
(Felino won the Mexican National Middleweight Title.)

NUEVO CAMPEON!  They split the first two falls, with Felino having no
problems in the first fall, but Guerrero won the second fall with his
Reverse Superplex, thanks to a low blow beforehand.  Guerrero looked
like he was going to retain the title in the third fall, until Rey
Dragon came down and smashed a chair over Guerrero's head!  Felino
went for the pin, but could only get a two count!  However, the Splash
Mountain sealed it, and Felino's the new Mexican National Middleweight
Champion!

Four Corners Match:
Abismo Negro defeated Perro Aguayo, Histeria and Electro Shock:
x Histeria beat E. Shock via a clothesline in 0:11:16
x Perro Sr. beat Histeria via the Double Stomp in 0:12:57
x A. Negro beat Perro Sr. via the Sky Flying Senton in 0:16:13
Rating: 1/4*

The four "finalists" in the AAA Caged Fury Tournament Losers-Advance
portion squared off here.  Histeria had no problems with former Viper
teammate Electro Shock, pinning him after a clothesline.  However,
Histeria couldn't do the same to Perro, and got taken out of the match
following the Double Stomp!  In the end, it was Abismo and Perro, and
after rolling out of the way of a Double Stomp, Abismo sent Perro to
the mat with a DDT, then hit the Sky Flying Senton for the pin to win
the match!  Abismo stated after the match that he would *not* lose his
mask in the tournament, and hinted, pointing at Perro, that we could
see another haircutting...
