A neat little mixed tag match, with the tecnicos picking up the win.
The fans were really into this match, since there were a *lot* of
comedy spots, save for the third fall.

Welcome to AAA TV, and we are live (Er...  kinda.) from Puebla,
Mexico!  Lots of good action tonight, as we get some more AAA Caged
Fury Tournament matches out of the way, and...  Wait a minute.  What
the hell is this?

(In the parking lot, we see a black limo pull out, and security
surrounds the person who exits the limo.  The person is seen going
towards the offices in the arena.)

Very odd...  Wait a second...  Could it be *him*?  The new
commissioner of AAA?  Maybe...

MATCH #1: Histeria vs. El Dandy - AAA Caged Fury Tournament Losers
Bracket - SECOND ROUND MATCH

Dandy attacks Histeria before the bell with a dropkick to the knee,
taking him down!  Dandy then follows up with a snap suplex, and sets
up Histeria for a flying axhandle...  IT CONNECTS!  Dropkick by Dandy,
followed by a clothesline...  One...  two...  SHOULDER UP!  Dandy
doesn't waste any time, and Histeria's about to go for the ride...
BACKDROP!  Histeria got out of the power bomb attempt by Dandy, and
just hit a spinebuster slam...  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Histeria
goes for a handspring moonsault...  MISSES!  He crashed down hard, and
El Dandy's back up.  Some stomps for good measure, as Dandy rolls
Histeria out of the ring...  and El Texano rams him into the steps for
good measure.  Histeria's tossed into the ring, and Dandy covers...
One...  two...  KICKOUT!  That was close!  Dandy hits a spinning leg
lariat, and tosses Histeria into the ropes...  DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!
Both men go down!  They're trying to get back up...  Dandy's up
first...  Histeria hits him with a belly-to-belly suplex!  Wow!
Histeria's pointing to the top rope, and here's Texano again...  WHO
GETS PUNCHED OFF THE APRON!  Histeria's going up top for the
Vipersault...  OH!  SOMEONE CAME OUT OF THE CROWD AND PUSHED HISTERIA
OFF THE TOP ROPE!  I...  THAT'S NOT A FAN!  THAT'S JERRY ESTRADA!!!
Dandina Cradle by Dandy...  One...  two...  THREE!!!  Histeria
advances!

...HUH?  El Dandy and Jerry Estrada (who has a Tradicion t-shirt on),
along with El Texano and now Sangre Chicana, are destroying Histeria
here!  They have Histeria in the Tree of Woe, and a chair's in front
of Histeria's head...  Jerry's going to go for a baseball slide!  Oh,
my...  SANTO!  EL HIJO DEL SANTO!  Santo runs into the ring, and the
rudos scatter!  Santo helps up Histeria, and raises his hand.
Histeria walks backstage, stunned, while Santo soaks in the cheers of
the fans.

Meanwhile, we see the person who is surrounded by security enter an
office, and security is standing outside the door.  One guard goes up
to our cameraman, and says, "Get ready to go in after the next match."
Hm...

MATCH #2: Aguila, Heavy Metal, Matt Hardy and Rey Dragon vs. Moto
Cross, Psicosis, Shiiba and Ultimo Guerrero - 2/3 FALL MATCH

First fall:

Don't you just *love* highlight form?

- Moto Cross hits Aguila with a jack-knife power bomb for the three
count only a minute in.  OK, I lied.  Two count.
- Psicosis, with a chair, hits Aguila with a back suplex!  The chair
is quickly removed.
- Heavy Metal hits both Shiiba and Psicosis with a double clothesline.
- Shiiba hits an elbow on Heavy Metal for two, following a dropkick.
- Powerslam by Shiiba gets two.
- Aguila enters the ring, and walks right into a German suplex by
Shiiba for two.
- Spinning DDT by Shiiba gets two.
- Aguila misses a clothesline, and Moto Cross hits a dragon screw in
reply.  Nicely done.
- Aguila and Rey Dragon hit Moto Cross with a pair of dropkicks, then
both cover, but Psicosis makes the save.  Moto Cross then hits Aguila
with a double underhook suplex, but Matt Hardy makes the save there.
- Matt Hardy almost took down Psicosis with a Hardy Cutter, but it was
blocked!
- Shiiba tries a power bomb, but Hardy rolls him up for two.
- Hardy hits Psicosis with a MOONSAULT BODYBLOCK!  That gets two.
- Ultimo Guerrero distracts the referee, and Psicosis takes down Hardy
with EL FAUL!  After a Flying Legdrop, the referee turned around and
counted the three.  Rudos win the first fall.

Second fall:

- Psicosis hits Hardy with a senton for a near fall.
- Ultimo Guerrero runs in to clothesline Hardy, but gets hit with a
belly-to-belly suplex instead!  Psicosis then gets clotheslined, and
Hardy hits a moonsault for a two count.
- A tilt-a-whirl powerslam by Hardy gets two.
- Rey Dragon and Moto Cross come in, and Moto Cross gets two with a
moonsault.
- Nice flying bulldog by Moto Cross on Dragon.
- Moto Cross goes up top for a moonsault, but MISSES!  Rey Dragon then
hits a Stardust Press, and gets the three count!  Tecnicos take the
second fall.

Third fall:

- Flying dropkick by Rey Dragon on Moto Cross.
- Meanwhile, Matt Hardy runs into the ring...  AND TAKES OUT ULTIMO
GUERRERO WITH A RUNNING SOMERSAULT PLANCHA!  QUE MORTAL!
- Rey Dragon with an Asai moonsault bodyblock on Moto Cross for two.
- Shiiba kicks Dragon from behind, and Moto Cross hits a series of
chops in the corner.
- Both men exchange punches, until Rey Dragon flips over a back
suplex, and hits a rana for two.
- Rana by Moto Cross is countered into a Dragon power bomb for a near
fall.
- Finally, with Shiiba and Heavy Metal brawling on the outside, and
Matt Hardy and Ultimo Guerrero still winded, Psicosis suplexes Aguila
off the apron!  Psicosis then ran into the ring, and after Moto Cross
reversed a Dragon rana into a power bomb, Psicosis hit the Flying
Legdrop for the...  THREE COUNT!  LOS RUDOS WIN!!!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Moto Cross, Ultimo Guerrero, Shiiba and Psicosis beat Matt Hardy, Rey

still suffering the effects of that brutal attack from Tradicion!
Here...  he is!

(Cut to the cameraman going into the office, as a young man sits
behind the desk.  The two shake hands, and the man clears his throat.)

"You know...  when they told me that I'd never make it past being AAA
Head Booker, I actually believed them for a while.  However, it's now
my time to step into the spotlight.  Mr. Pena has appointed me to take
control of AAA for a little bit, while still maintaining my previous
job as Head Booker.  My name is Colin MacKinnon...  But you can just
call me Colin for short.  I'm very casual.  In any event, as soon as I
received the job, there were a few things I had to take care of, and I
have a *lot* of announcements to make."

"First off, I am pleased to announce that AAA's next event, entitled
Guerra De Titanes: Fin de Milenio, will take place on Christmas Eve,
Friday, December 24, 1999.  As well, since EMLL is...  er...  MIA, we
have booked...  Yup, you guessed it.  We're going to hold the event in
Arena Mexico!  Now, I know there's been a lot of talk about matches
for the event, so I'll tell you what I know at the moment."

"In the main event, Blue Demon Jr. *will* defend the Mexican National
Heavyweight Title against..."

(Out of nowhere, Shocker comes into the picture!  [Note - This whole
interview is done in English.])

Shocker: "Mr. Commissioner, it's an honor and privilege to meet you.
I'm sure you know who I am, right?"

Colin: "Um...  yeah, Shocker.  I've been meaning to talk to you..."

Shocker: "Talk is cheap.  Now, listen.  I feel that I deserve a
Mexican National Heavyweight Title shot at Guerra De..."

Colin: "...What the hell are you talking about?  You've only been in
the fed for a couple of days!"

Shocker: "Um...  I've been in Mexico for a long time.  You can't deny
that."

Colin: "...Considering you're *not* Mexican..."

Shocker: "...Hm?"

Colin: "...Oh, nothing.  So, you *really* think you deserve a title
shot?"

Shocker: "You're damn right I do!"

Colin: "...Fine.  Tonight...  In the ring...  We're going to lower
that cage!  We're going to have a cage match!  In one corner,
yourself, and in the other corner...  OCTAGON!"

Shocker: "...WHAT?"

Colin: "The winner of that match will face Blue Demon Jr. at Guerra De
Titanes!"

Shocker: "...Fine.  If that's what you want me to do, so be it."

Colin: "I have great plans for you, Shocker. (Shocker leaves the
picture.) Take care, now!"

"Ahem...  Anyways, besides that, at Guerra De Titanes, we will have
the finals of the AAA Caged Fury Tournament, as both the Final and
the...  Ultimate Final will take place...  At the SAME TIME!  Two
separate cages, two winners.  It doesn't get more exciting than that!
Finally, for now, I'd like to announce...  Actually, I'd really like
to announce this to his face.  SEND HIM IN!"

(Pentagon comes into the room.)

Pentagon: "...Who are you?"

Colin: "I'm the guy that makes things happen around here from now on.
Now, Pentagon...  You like challenges, right?"

Pentagon: "...Yes."

Colin: "And...  Say that you don't win the AAA Caged Fury Tournament.
That you...  um...  choke.  Then, what do you do at Guerra De
Titanes?"

Pentagon: "Simple.  I go up against Octagon, and I *finally* take what
is rightfully mine...  HIS MASK!"

Colin: "No, no, no, no, no.  Besides that.  What would you *really*
like to do at Guerra De Titanes?  Come on.  Think for a second."

Pentagon: "Well...  um...  WAIT A SECOND!  Oh, no!"

Colin: "Oh, yes!  At Guerra De Titanes, provided you do *not* make it
to the finals of the Caged Fury Tournament, you will face...  XOCHITL
HAMADA!"

Pentagon: "NO!  You can't do this!  I won't fight her!"

Colin: "I'll put it to you this way.  If you *don't* fight her, I'll
view that as breach of contract, and you're out of here.  And, since
there aren't many places you can work in Mexico at the moment...  I'd
say you'd be in deep trouble.  Don't you agree?"

Pentagon: "...F*CK YOU!" (Pentagon leaves the room, turning over his
chair in the process.)

Colin: "...That went pretty well."

"Anyways, I'll be making more announcements about Guerra De Titanes in
the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned!  Thank you for your time.
Now, let's head back to the ring for some more action."

MATCH #3: Abeja Africana vs. ??? - ONE FALL

Earlier tonight, Abeja put out an open contract for a match tonight.
I wonder who took him up on it?  Uh-oh...  Here comes...  XOCHITL
HAMADA???  Abeja looks stunned!  It looks like we're going to have a
mixed match...  I can't believe it!  Xochitl must have found out about
Pentagon possibly facing her at Guerra De Titanes, and signed the
contract to face Abeja!  WOW!

I don't think this even qualifies to be a match...  Lockup, Abeja
immediately begs off in the corner.  Xochitl hits Abeja with a kick to
the jaw, then chokes him against the ropes.  Flying dropkick by
Xochitl gets two.  Abeja then chops Xochitl, and damn well near gets
booed out of the building for that.  Small package by Abeja gets two.
Abeja then misses a flying dropkick of his own, but Xochitl
clotheslines him out of the ring.  Xochitl...  OH!  TOPE SUICIDA!
That was unexpected, to say the least!  Both...  wrestlers make their
way back to the ring, and Xochitl hits a gutwrench suplex for two.
Xochitl does a little posing, and goes over to the corner...  AND PUTS
A PENTAGON MASK ON?  Oh, boy...  Abeja goes to clothesline Xochitl,
but Xochitl kicks Abeja...  EL FAUL!  The referee doesn't notice,
however, because Xochitl just hit Abeja with a DDT...  One...  two...
THREE!!!  Abeja lost to a woman!

Xochitl Hamada pinned Abeja Africana after a DDT in 0:03:37.

MATCH #4: Brazo De Oro vs. Pentagon - AAA Caged Fury Tournament -
SECOND ROUND MATCH (Group 1)

Lockup, Pentagon tries for a German suplex right away, but Oro goes
behind him, and Pentagon counters that with an elbow to the head.  Oro
misses a dropkick, and Pentagon goes to whip him into the turnbuckle,
but that's reversed, and Oro connects with a spin kick!  Armdrag
takedown by Oro, followed by a forearm smash.  Oro heads for the top
rope, but misses a flying cross body, and Pentagon has a chance to
catch his breath.  Side suplex by Pentagon, and he jumps up for a
rana, but Oro connects with a power bomb instead!  Pentagon gets up to
his feet, and he's taken down again with a rana.  Oro whips Pentagon
into the corner and charges in, but Pentagon moves out of the way...
SUPERKICK!  Ouch!  Pentagon just leveled Oro with that one!  Pentagon
hits another side suplex, and springs off the ropes...  ASAI
MOONSAULT!  That's his finisher!  Pentagon just connected with the
Asai Moonsault, and he's going to dish out some more punishment...
SPIN KICK!  This match should be over!  All Pentagon has to do is make
Oro submit!  Pentagon whips Oro into the corner, but nobody's home!
Oro's up top...  RANA FROM THE TOP ROPE!  Great recovery!  Oro takes
his time getting up, and goes for his Frankensteiner...  POWER BOMB!
Pentagon wasn't going to go down that easily!  Mexican armdrag
takedown by the rudo, who slaps on a half Boston, but Oro's *way* too
close to the ropes, and that's broken up pretty quickly.  Front
facelock now by Pentagon, but it gets the same result.  Pentagon
connects with a back suplex, and waits for Oro to get up...  FLYING
BODYPRESS!  Pentagon is just demolishing Oro at the moment.  Jumping
side kick by Pentagon, which staggers Oro...  RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP!
Pentagon's ready to slap on a sleeperhold, it looks like...  THERE IT
IS!  Oro's trapped!  Oro is in the sleeper...  HUH?  PENTAGON?  A
second Pentagon's coming out from the back, but this one looks a
little smaller...  Pentagon lets go of the sleeper, and he's talking
to Pentagon Dos, it looks like.  ...They're both talking, and I have
no idea what's going on...  Well, they're shaking hands, so
something's up...  OH!  Pentagon Dos just slammed the cage door into
Pentagon's head!  Pentagon Dos is heading to the back, and...
Spinning toe hold by Oro?  Pentagon isn't moving, and the referee
calls for the bell!  BRAZO DE ORO WINS!!!  PENTAGON WILL TAKE ON
XOCHITL HAMADA AT GUERRA DE TITANES!!!

Submission Cage Match:
Brazo De Oro made Pentagon submit to a spinning toe hold in 0:08:48.

MATCH #5: El Hijo Del Santo and Histeria vs. Jerry Estrada and El
Dandy (Tradicion) - ONE FALL

Santo and Estrada, now making his official AAA debut, lock up.
Armdrag takedowns are traded by the pair, until Estrada gains the
advantage with a back heel kick.  A backbreaker by Estrada is blocked
by Santo, then a bodyslam by Santo is blocked by Estrada!  Finally,
Santo hits five elbows on Estrada, and cradles him for a two count.
Vertical suplex by Santo, and Estrada is crawling to a neutral corner,
begging for mercy!  Santo calls Histeria into the ring, and they both
go for a double clothesline, but Estrada ducks...  DOUBLE DDT!  Whoa!
Histeria rolls out of the ring, and Estrada climbs to the top rope...
TOPE ON SANTO!  Tag made to El Dandy.  Dandy clotheslines Santo, and
takes him down to the mat with a flying axhandle.  Dandy whips Santo
into the turnbuckle, and runs in, but nobody's home...  DROPKICK!
Santo makes the tag to Histeria, and Dandy's going for the ride...
SPINEBUSTER!  One...  two...  SHOULDER UP!  Kick to the midsection by
Histeria, and this might be...  A POWER BOMB!  One...  two...
KICKOUT!  Histeria jumps to the top rope!  This could be it...  NO!
Histeria missed the Vipersault!  Dandy slowly gets up to his feet, and
tags in Estrada.  Estrada picks Histeria up...  INVERTED POWER BOMB!
What power!  Histeria's down on the mat, and Estrada drives a knee
right into his spine!  The cover...  One...  two...  SHOULDER UP!  Not
yet!  Estrada sets him up for a suplex...  SMALL PACKAGE BY HISTERIA!
One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Both men manage to get up...  ROPEBURN!
Estrada caught Histeria there, and Dandy comes in...  CLOTHESLINE!
Histeria's back down, and Estrada locks on a leglock!  Histeria's
struggling, and his shoulders are down...  One...  two...  SHOULDER
UP!  Histeria is still in the hold, but he's inching towards the
ropes...  HE GETS THERE!  Estrada boots Histeria out of the ring, and
he's running...  TOPE SUICIDA!!!  QUE MORTAL!  Estrada draws some
applause from the crowd for that one, and he follows up by tossing
Histeria into the guardrail!  Santo and Dandy are brawling as well,
and Dandy has the advantage at the moment.  Both men back in the ring
now, and Estrada hooks the leg for the cover...  One...  two...
KICKOUT!  So close!  Estrada whips Histeria into the ropes, and
Histeria dives...  AND TAGS IN SANTO!  Estrada runs over and tags
Dandy in!  Santo takes both men down with a double clothesline, and
has Estrada in position for the Camel Clutch...  DANDY WITH A FLYING
DROPKICK FROM BEHIND!  That will do it!  Santo is down, and Dandy is
going to go for the pin...  No, he's not.  Dandy whips Santo into the
corner, but Santo jumps to the top rope...  TOPE ON DANDY!  Santo
signals for the finish...  CAMEL CLUTCH!  Dandy's caught!  Estrada
goes for the save, but Histeria catches him with a spear!  The
referee's checking...  IT'S OVER!  SANTO AND HISTERIA TAKE IT!

El Hijo Del Santo and Histeria defeated Jerry Estrada and El Dandy
when Santo Jr. made Dandy submit to the Camel Clutch in 0:08:57.

MAIN EVENT: Octagon vs. Shocker - CAGE MATCH

The cage doesn't look too big, but regardless, climbing out is the
only way to win.  Both men stare each other down at the start.
Octagon runs into the ropes, ducks a clothesline by Shocker, and
connects with a running kick.  Octagon runs into the ropes again, but
Shocker catches him with a dropkick to the knee!  Rana by Shocker, and
Octagon's gets some chops in the corner.  Octagon counters with one of
his own, but Shocker puts him in a front facelock right away to stop
that.  Shocker jumps up onto Octagon's shoulders, and takes him down
with a Frankensteiner!  Shocker is now climbing the cage, and
Octagon's up...  AND PULLS HIM RIGHT BACK IN!  Shocker goes for a
clothesline, but Octagon ducks, and bodyslams Shocker!  Russian
legsweep by Octagon...  NO!  Shocker counters with an elbowsmash!
Another rana now by Shocker, and he follows up with a Boston crab.
Octagon's too close to the ropes, however, and manages to break the
hold.  Shocker's now climbing the cage again...  OCTAGON PULLS HIM
BACK DOWN!  Shocker...  RAMS OCTAGON'S FACE INTO THE CAGE!  Ouch!
Spin kick by Shocker, and Octagon's down!  Shocker is climbing
again...  HE'S ON TOP OF THE CAGE...  OH!  FLYING DROPKICK FROM THE
TOP OF THE CAGE!  Shocker gets back up, and starts climbing the cage
again...  Octagon staggers to his feet, and follows...  Octagon's
trying to pull Shocker in, but Shocker counters with a few kicks to
the face, stunning Shocker...  Shocker's near the top of the cage...
Shocker's climbing over the top of the cage...  Octagon has his leg
again...  AND TOSSES SHOCKER FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE TO THE MAT!
WOW!  Octagon climbs down, and catches a stunned Shocker...  RUSSIAN
LEGSWEEP!  Octagon's ready to knock out Shocker...  OCTACLUTCH!  Is
Shocker going to black out?  Octagon has it on tight...  Wait a
second!  That's...  BLUE DEMON JR.!  He just unlocked the cage door,
and he has something in his hand...  OH!  Demon Jr. *NAILED* Octagon
with the Mexican National Heavyweight Title!  Both men are down!
Demon Jr. closes the cage door, and is standing on the outside,
watching the match!  Demon Jr. does *not* want to face Octagon for
that belt!  Shocker gets up first, and starts to tug at Octagon's
mask!  Shocker hits a ropeflip hiptoss, and follows up with a power
bomb!  Shocker goes off the ropes...  AND FLATTENS OCTAGON WITH A
DROPKICK!  Shocker could climb out any time now!  Spinning headscissor
takedown by Shocker, and it looks like he's going to climb out now...
Shocker's heading up...  He's on the top of the cage...  HERE COMES
NEGRO CASAS!  Casas is running to the ring with a chair, and he's
climbing the cage!  Shocker's going over the top of the cage, but he
doesn't notice Casas...  OUCH!  Casas slammed that chair over
Shocker's back, and he won't be doing any more climbing for a while!
Shocker is dangling from the top of the cage, but Casas pushes him
over the top...  AND SHOCKER FALLS TO THE MAT!  How much punishment
can he take?  Demon Jr. is trying to unlock the door again, but Casas
stops him by pointing the chair in his direction!  Both men are trying
to get back to their feet...  DEMON JR. DROPKICKS THE CHAIR INTO
CASAS' FACE!  Casas is down!  Demon Jr. starts to climb the cage, and
tosses the chair into the cage!  Whoever gets up first has a chance to
win this thing...  BOTH MEN ARE UP!  Shocker goes for the chair first,
but Octagon grabs it!  Both men are tugging at the chair...  SHOCKER
CATCHES OCTAGON WITH AN ELBOW!  Shocker has the chair, and swings...
MISSES!  And...  OCTAGON SUPERKICKS SHOCKER IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Shocker goes down, and his head falls right onto the chair!  Octagon
jumps up, and grabs onto the cage!  Demon Jr. starts to climb, but
Casas pulls him down!  Octagon's over the top...  He's heading down...
OCTAGON ESCAPES THE CAGE!!!  OCTAGON AGAINST BLUE DEMON JR. AT GUERRA
DE TITANES!

Cage Match:
Octagon defeated Shocker by escaping the cage in 0:11:06.

Demon Jr. goes right after Octagon after the match, but Casas
dropkicks him from behind!  Demon Jr. runs to the back, glaring at
Octagon as he exits!  Casas congratulates Octagon, and with good
reason...  He could be the next Mexican National Heavyweight Champion
in three weeks time!  See you next week!
