Rating: 1/2*

Quick match, with nothing worth mentioning.  More of an exhibition
match, honestly.

Welcome to AAA TV (The rush edition... :) ) from Acapulco.  Tonight,
we have six big matches, so let's get right to it!

MATCH #1: Gran Apache vs. Sangre Chicana - AAA Caged Fury Tournament -
SECOND ROUND MATCH (Group 2)

There isn't much to lose here, with both men looking to capture a
birth in the Semi-Finals.  Quite a bit of stalling at the start,
before Apache decided to box with Chicana.  Apache won that battle,
and started to wear down Chicana with a power bomb, followed by a pair
of dropkicks.  Chicana fought back, however, with a series of chops
and a choke against the ropes, which slowed down Apache.  A quick
series of counters by the two rudos, before Apache fired away with a
series of elbows to Chicana's face, then held him in a front facelock
for 30 seconds.  The fans, by the way, are heading to the concession
stands and bathrooms at this point.  Apache gets two headbutt attempts
blocked, before Chicana connects on the third.  Chicana pounds away on
Apache in the corner, and slams his head into the cage, to boot.
Apache's bleeding, and nobody seems to care.  Chicana whips Apache
into the corner, and charges in, but gets a boot to the face in
response.  Apache hits a clothesline, then slaps on an arm grapevine
in the center of the ring.  Chicana tries to get out of it...  But he
can't!  Gran Apache advances to the Semi-Finals of the Caged Fury
Tournament!

Submission Cage Match:
Gran Apache made Sangre Chicana submit to an arm grapevine in 0:05:09.

with the Top Rope Headscissors...  FOR THE THREE COUNT!

M. Cross pinned M. Hardy with the Top Rope Headscissors in 0:10:13.

MATCH #3: Abismo Negro vs. Binary - AAA Caged Fury Tournament Losers
Bracket - SECOND ROUND MATCH

This was probably going to be a nothing match in terms of quality, and
that's what it ended up being.  Abismo dominated Binary in the early
going, taking him down with a jack-knife power bomb and running power
bomb in the first minute, each for two counts.  Binary tried to come
back with some kicks and a backbreaker, but Abismo hit a gutwrench
suplex for another two count.  Binary tried to walk out, but Abismo
would have none of that, and hit Binary from behind with a TOPE
SUICIDA!  And that was probably the best part of the match.  Abismo
followed up back in the ring with a pair of dropkicks, but missed on a
senton.  Binary then stomped away on Abismo, then locked on an armbar.
Abismo reached the ropes, and they both, more or less, pounded away at
each other for 30 seconds.  Binary then got in a powerslam, but could
only get a two count out of that before Abismo got his shoulder up.  A
double clothesline followed that, and both men crawled up to their
feet.  Abismo managed to connect with a punch first, and sent Binary
crashing to the mat with a series of clotheslines, then hit a DDT...
TWO COUNT ONLY!  Abismo looked to end this, and set up Binary on the
top rope...  BUT THEY SLIPPED!  Binary crashed to the ground, and
Abismo crotched himself on the top turnbuckle!  Binary got up just as
Abismo fell down, and hit the Y2K Crash!  One...  two...  THREE!!!
BINARY UPSET ABISMO!  BINARY UPSET ABISMO!  Abismo Negro advances in
the tournament, and he's just two losses away from losing his mask!

Binary pinned Abismo Negro with the Y2K Crash in 0:06:26.

MATCH #4: Negro Casas and Felino vs. ??? and Shiiba - ONE FALL

Shiiba came to the ring with a man dressed completely in black,
calling him "Guapo".  Hm...  "Guapo", if that is his real name, and
Felino started off, and Felino welcomed Guapo to AAA (If this is his
first time here...) with an enzuigiri to the face.  Felino then tossed
Guapo to the outside, and hit a diving shoulderblock from the apron!
Guapo got tossed into the guardrail and ringsteps, and took another
enzuigiri before entering the ring.  Tag made to Casas, who continues
the assault on Guapo.  After a double bodyslam, Guapo crawls over and
tags in Shiiba.  Power bomb on Casas gets two.  Shiiba stomps away for
a bit...  CASITA!  One...  two...  GUAPO WITH THE SAVE!  Guapo takes
Shiiba's place, and goes for a rana...  POWER BOMB!  One...  two...
SHOULDER UP!  Casas makes the tag to Felino, who hits a flying sunset
flip for two.  After that came a top-rope Frankensteiner...  ONLY TWO!
A clothesline sends Guapo to the outside...  SOMERSAULT PLANCHA BY
FELINO!  Felino takes his time getting up, and Shiiba takes advantage
by leaping onto Felino with a TOPE!  Back inside, Shiiba hits a
gutwrench suplex for two, and follows up with a series of chops.
Jumping side kick gets two as well.  Felino manages to make the tag
during all this, and Casas takes down both Guapo and Shiiba with
elbows.  Shiiba clips Casas from behind, however, and hits a
spinebuster slam for two.  German suplex gets two as well.  Shiiba
taunts Felino in the corner, then levels Casas with a clothesline...
TWO COUNT!  Shiiba goes to whip Casas into the corner, but Casas
changes direction and tags in Felino!  Poor Shiiba gets sent to the
mat numerous times with some clotheslines and bodyslams, before Felino
hits a top-rope Frankensteiner for a near fall!  Shiiba tagged in
Guapo, and Felino went to work on him as well!  Enzuigiri to the
head...  TWO COUNT!  Felino goes for a flying sunset flip...  GUAPO
SITS DOWN!  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Felino goes off the ropes and
misses a clothesline...  What the hell?  Guapo just executed an
inverted torture rack on Felino, and Felino's struggling...  HE
SUBMITS!  Felino submits!  Shiiba and Guapo win!

Shiiba and Guapo defeated Negro Casas and Felino when Guapo made
Felino submit to an inverted torture rack in 0:11:40.

Wait a second!  Shiiba and Guapo are beating on Casas and Felino, and
here comes Gran Apache!  Heavy Metal is nowhere to be seen!  It's a
three-on-two now, and the tecnicos are down!  Apache and Shiiba
high-five Guapo, who...  IS TAKING OFF HIS MASK?  Wait a second...
There's another mask underneath...

SHOCKER!!!

It's Shocker!  Shocker is in AAA, and he's aligned himself with Apache
and Shiiba!  The odds are evened up again!

MATCH #5: Heavy Metal vs. Perro Aguayo - AAA Caged Fury Tournament
Losers Bracket - SECOND ROUND MATCH

Heavy Metal came out to help Casas and Felino to the back, apologizing
all the way.  Then, it was time for Metal to face Perro Aguayo!
Winner's eliminated, loser is one step closer to losing his mask or
hair.  Heavy Metal starts with some kicks and punches, but they have
little effect on Perro, who locks on the ABDOMINAL STRETCH OF DOOM!
Perro holds it for 15 seconds, but Metal manages to power out of it.
Double Stomp by Perro...  MISSES!  That could have ended it right
there!  Spinning leg lariat by Metal, who's trying to regain the
momentum.  However, after a bulldog and a bodyslam, Perro is in firm
control.  Perro signals to the crowd...  Runs off the ropes...  DOUBLE
STOMP!!!  This should do it...  METAL ROLLS OUT OF THE RING!  He
didn't have much of a choice, to be honest.  Perro brings him back in,
and pounds away with some punches and kicks...  CASITA!  WHAT THE
HELL???  Casita by Metal...  One...  two...  THREE!!!  HE DID IT!
Heavy Metal is safe, and Perro may well lose his hair for the *second*
time this year!  What an upset!

Heavy Metal pinned Perro Aguayo with the Casita in 0:03:20.

restored, Santo and Dandy lock up, and Dandy draws first blood with a

Santo kicked out just in time.  Power bomb by Demon Jr. gets two.

are in the ring, and Octagon gets takes down with a power bomb, as we
head to a commercial break.
