Nemesis beat Fugaz 2 falls to 0:
x Nemesis beat Fugaz via a small package in 0:10:12
x Nemesis beat Fugaz via the Flying Dropkick in 0:14:24
Rating: 1/4*

More or less a squash, with Nemesis dominating Fugaz through both
falls.  Not a very good one, however.

[Dark Match]: Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Mini Abismo Negro and Mini Psicosis beat Mini Discovery and La Parkita
2 falls to 1:
x double countout (Mini Psicosis and Parkita) in 0:13:39
x Mini Abismo beat Mini Discovery via the German Suplex in 0:19:50
Rating: * 3/4

Nice match.  Mini Psic and Parkita brawled to the back in the first
fall, leaving Mini Abismo and Mini Discovery to battle it out in the
second and deciding fall.  Needless to say, Mini Discovery wasn't at
Mini Abismo's level tonight.

Hey, it seems that the soccer game finished on time tonight... :)
Welcome to AAA TV, live from Monterrey!  Five huge matches for you as
always, as we have the final two First Round matches in the AAA Caged
Fury Tournament, as Magnum Tokyo faces Aguila in an all-tecnico
matchup in Group 2, while Pentagon takes on Abismo Negro in an
all-rudo fight in Group 1.  Also, Kaori Nakayama defends her Mexican
National Women's Title against Rossy Moreno.  Plus, Octagon and El
Hijo Del Santo team to face Blue Demon Jr. and Black Warrior!  As for
the fifth match?  Well...  it was decided earlier on today.

(Cut to the backstage area, where Negro Casas and Heavy Metal are
watching a car pull out...  AND FELINO COMES OUT OF IT!  The three
embrace and shake hands, and it looks like Los Hermanos Casas are back
together!  The three make their way to the locker room, but Gran
Apache, Shiiba and Kickboxer are waiting for them!  A brawl erupts,
with neither team making any progress, until officials break it up!
Casas challenges Apache to a six-man tag match tonight, and Apache
accepts!  Casas promises to end this war tonight, while Apache and
company leave together, making plans for tonight, it would seem.)

And, as well, we have confirmed that the new Commissioner of AAA
*will* be announced next week!  Apparently, he had some problems
making it to the arena for tonight's show, but will be in attendance
next week.  Now, let's head to the ring for some action!

MATCH #1: Kaori Nakayama (c) vs. Rossy Moreno - Mexican National
Women's Title Match - ONE FALL

Lockup, and both ladies trade some blows right away.  Rossy gains the
advantage with a backdrop, then takes down Kaori with a forearm smash.
After slapping on an armbar, Rossy continues with a waistlock
takedown, followed by a sitdown splash for the first two count of the
night.  Rossy tries a standing wristlock, but Kaori blocks it, and
hits an Asai moonsault for a two count.  Belly-to-back suplex by
Kaori, who then hits a sunset flip after a Rossy backdrop for two.
Rossy tries a high knee, but Kaori moves out of the way...  SWINGING
DDT!  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Kaori was so close that time!  Kaori
picks up Rossy...  Boot to the stomach!  DDT BY ROSSY!  One...  two...
NO!  We almost had a new champ!  Rossy hits a clothesline...  and
another one...  AND ANOTHER ONE!  Three clotheslines by the
challenger, who follows up with a senton!  One...  two...  THREE!!!
NEW CHAMPION!  ...NO!!!  TWO COUNT ONLY!!!  Rossy can't believe it!
Another cover...  One...  two...  SHOULDER UP!  Kaori won't stay down!
Rossy brings her to the corner, and fires away with a series of chops.
Kaori's slumped in the corner, and Rossy's going to the opposite
corner...  RUNNING KNEE TO THE FACE!  MISSED!  Rossy hit her knee
right on the post, and Kaori moved out of the way!  Kaori clips the
knee from behind, and jumps to the top rope...  MOONSAULT!  One...
two...  THREE!!!  KAORI WINS AGAIN!!!

Kaori Nakayama pinned Rossy Moreno with the Moonsault in 0:05:32.

MATCH #2: Magnum Tokyo vs. Aguila - AAA Caged Fury Tournament - FIRST
ROUND MATCH (Group 2)

This has potential to be a fantastic match, as both young superstars
will do anything to win this one.  Nice handshake before the match,
too.

Lockup, Aguila whips Tokyo into the ropes, but gets rocked with a
handspring elbow instead!  Legdrop by Tokyo, but Aguila gets right
back up and floors Tokyo with a dropkick.  Spinning leg lariat by
Aguila, followed by a flying cross body press.  Aguila goes to whip
Tokyo into the ropes again, but Tokyo reverses, and hits a swinging
neckbreaker!  Vertical suplex by Tokyo, who wastes a little bit of
time with a dance for the ladies.  Bodyslam by Tokyo, but he misses a
flying elbowdrop, and Aguila hits him when he gets up with a rana.  A
pair of Japanese armdrag takedowns by Aguila, who goes to hit another
rana, but gets taken down with a power bomb by Tokyo!  Double
underhook suplex by Tokyo, and he heads up to the top rope for an AV
Star Press...  MISSES THE MOVE!  Aguila scampers to the top rope...
NO!  He's heading to the top of the cage!  He jumps...  RANA FROM THE
TOP OF THE CAGE!!!  BOTH MEN ARE DOWN!  What a move from Aguila!  Both
men get to their feet, and Aguila slaps on the ABDOMINAL STRETCH OF
DOOM!  However, Tokyo reverses it, and it takes a little while for
Aguila to break it.  Maybe he hurt himself with that rana?  Swinging
neckbreaker from Tokyo, followed by spinning headscissors.  Nice.
Standing moonsault by Tokyo, followed by a German suplex.  Note that
both men have only gone for submission moves once.  Tokyo picks Aguila
up, but gets raked in the eyes...  SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK BY AGUILA!
Aguila drops an elbow on Tokyo, and runs up for a 450 Splash...
MISSES!  Tokyo picks up Aguila...  VIAGRA DRIVER!  AGUILA COUNTERS
WITH A HIPTOSS!  Both men cannot hit some of their signature moves!
Tokyo goes for a short clothesline, but Aguila ducks...  OCTOPUS
HOLD!!!  AGUILA CAME OUT OF NOWHERE WITH IT!  Tokyo is isolated in the
center of the ring!  He's fighting the pain, but it looks like Aguila
has outsmarted him...  HE HAS!  Tokyo submits, and Aguila moves on!
As well, Tokyo must now put his hair on the line!

Non-Title-Submission Cage Match:
Aguila made Magnum Tokyo submit to an octopus hold in 0:09:02.

MATCH #3: Negro Casas, Felino (AAA Debut) and Heavy Metal vs. Gran
Apache, Kickboxer and Shiiba - ONE FALL

Casas, Felino, and Metal are in the ring, and here comes...
KICKBOXER?  By himself?  I have no idea why he's out by himself, but
Casas has quite the evil smile on his face...  Kickboxer's yelling
something that sounds like "What did you do with Apache and Shiiba?
WHERE ARE THEY?"  But aren't Apache and Shiiba in the building?
Casas, Felino and Metal look ready to fight, but Kickboxer wants to
know where his teammates are...  THE REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL!  It's
a handicap match!

All three tecnicos rush Kickboxer as soon as the bell rings, and
hammer away on him with a series of punches.  Metal and Felino clear
out, and Casas takes down Kickboxer with a dropkick for a two count.
Kickboxer lands some kicks on Casas, and hits a dropkick of his own
for two.  Casas fires back with a pair of spin kicks, however, and
makes the tag to Metal.  Nice double snap suplex by the two, as Metal
follows that up with a German suplex for a two count.  Spinning leg
lariat by Metal, who whips Kickboxer into the ropes...  THRUST KICK TO
THE HEAD!  Metal was knocked loopy by that one!  Double armbar
submission by Kickboxer, but Casas runs in for the save.  Casas then
slaps on a scorpion deathlock, but Kickboxer reached the ropes easily.
In response, Casas tags in Felino.  This is Felino's chance to show
AAA what he's made of...  RUNNING POWER BOMB!  One...  two...
KICKOUT!  Nice start by Felino!  Felino lands a jumping side kick on
Kickboxer, who goes through the ropes.  Felino's running...  TOPE CON
HILO!!!  WOW!  Kickboxer is down and out, as Felino makes his way back
to his feet!  Casas and Metal stomp away on Kickboxer for a few
seconds, before tossing him back in, and Felino's going to finish
this...  SPLASH MOUNTAIN!  One...  two...  THREE!!!  THE TECNICOS WIN!

Handicap-Match:
Negro Casas, Felino and Heavy Metal defeated Kickboxer when Felino
pinned Kickboxer with the Splash Mountain in 0:05:05.

Frankensteiner right away for a two count.  Some chops by Santo,
followed by a nice spinning backbreaker.  Santo goes to the top

turnbuckle, and Warrior climbs up...  TOP-ROPE FRANKENSTEINER!
Warrior wants to end this now...  NUDO!  OCTAGON WITH THE SAVE RIGHT
AWAY!  What a hot start to this one!  Warrior tags in Demon Jr., and
they chop away on Santo.  Santo goes into the ropes...  DOUBLE
CLOTHESLINE!  Warrior leaves the ring, and Demon Jr. locks on a double
chickenwing submission.  Santo's struggling, and it appears he's
trapped, until Octagon makes the save again.  Demon Jr. walks right
over to Octagon, and it looks like he's about to confront him!  Both
men exchange words until the ref breaks them up, and Demon Jr. turns
around...  DUCKS A CLOTHESLINE!  STUNNER!!!  DEMON JR. HIT SANTO WITH
THE STUNNER!  The fans are irate!  Cover...  One...  two...  THREE!!!
RUDOS TAKE THE FIRST FALL!

elbow, and goes for the pin...  TWO COUNT!  The battle spills over to
the outside, and Black Warrior and Octagon join in.  Both rudos whip
Santo into the guardrail, but Octagon dropkicks Warrior over the
guardrail in return!  Octagon and Demon Jr. exchange some blows, until
Demon Jr. slams Octagon's head into the ringsteps!  Santo's back up,
however, and he hits Demon Jr. with a back suplex onto the concrete
floor!  Both of them make their way back into the ring, and Demon Jr.
hits a vertical suplex out of *nowhere* for a two count!  Santo
recovers, however, and the fans begin to chant his name!  Spinning
headscissors on Demon Jr., followed by...  A FLYING SOMERSAULT
HEADBUTT!  Octagon and Warrior are brawling on the outside!  Santo
signals...  CAMEL CLUTCH!  CAMEL CLUTCH ON DEMON JR.!  Demon Jr.'s
going to fight it...  No, he isn't!  Demon Jr. submits to the Camel
Clutch!  We're all tied up!

Third fall: Octagon gets the tag right off the bat, and wants a piece
of Demon Jr.!  Demon Jr. tries to climb out of the ring, but Octagon
stops him, and starts to hammer away at him with a series of blows to
the back!  Demon Jr. tries to run away again, but gets clotheslined in
return!  Octagon with some mounted punches now, as Santo and Warrior
mix it up on the outside.  Octagon grabs Demon Jr. for a Russian
legsweep...  NO!  Demon Jr. pushes Octagon away...  KICK TO THE GROIN!

MAIN EVENT: Pentagon vs. Abismo Negro - AAA Caged Fury Tournament -
FIRST ROUND MATCH (Group 1)

Time for the final First Round match in the AAA Caged Fury Tournament.
Both men get soundly booed as they make their way to the ring, and
shake hands as soon as they enter the cage.  Both men talk things over
for two minutes, as Pentagon seems to be voicing some concerns.
Abismo tells him not to worry, and both men shake hands again, as
Abismo says "May the best man win."  Pentagon and Abismo have been on
equal terms as of late, so this may well end up being a battle for
respect.

Lockup, Pentagon ducks a clothesline, and fires away with some chops
to the chest of Abismo.  Kick to the midsection by Pentagon, who tries
to hit a Russian legsweep, but Abismo counters with a forearm smash.
Front facelock by Abismo, but Pentagon breaks it easily.  Pentagon
charges Abismo, but gets taken down with a belly-to-back suplex...
Oh, no.  Xochitl Hamada is heading down to ringside, and she's dressed
in a business suit.  And she has a briefcase.  And a cell phone.  And
a key.  Xochitl goes to unlock the cage...  PENTAGON GETS UP AND
CHARGES THE DOOR!  Xochitl immediately jumps down to the floor, as
Pentagon is ticked off!  Pentagon turns around, and Abismo
clotheslines him to the mat.  Abismo heads up top...  MISSES THE SKY
FLYING SENTON!  Pentagon gets to his feet, and hits Abismo with a
Frankensteiner!  Pentagon goes to whip Abismo into the cage, but
Abismo reverses it...  OH!  WHAT IMPACT!  Pentagon bounces off the
cage, and right into a snap suplex by Abismo!  Now Xochitl's looking
for something in that briefcase...  Abismo goes over and starts
yelling at Xochitl, and wants her to get away from ringside!  Xochitl
isn't budging, and she takes out the key...  AND UNLOCKS THE CAGE!
Abismo chases after Xochitl, as they run around the ring a few times.
Keep in mind that there are *no* rules about countouts in the Caged
Fury Tournament.  Pentagon gets up, and makes his way outside the
ring, and *clocks* Abismo with the briefcase!  Xochitl wisely hides on
the other side of the ring, as Pentagon and Abismo trade punches on
the outside.  Abismo grabs Pentagon...  HURLS HIM INTO THE RINGSTEPS!
Pentagon's taking a lot of punishment in this one!  Abismo picks up
Pentagon, and he's going to ram him into the ringpost...  PENTAGON
REVERSES!  OUCH!  Abismo is busted open!  Come to think of it,
Pentagon is as well!  Superkick by Pentagon on the outside, who walks
over towards Xochitl, who has the briefcase, and just pulled something
out of it.  Pentagon's yelling at Xochitl...  HERE WE GO!  Pentagon
charges...  AND GOES DOWN!  MACE IN THE EYES!  That's what Xochitl was
looking for!  Xochitl lands in a solid kick to Pentagon's head, and
walks to the back!  Abismo's recovered from the ringpost shot, and
tosses Pentagon back into the cage.  Abismo follows, as the cage is
locked again.  Abismo picks Pentagon up...  SPINNING POWER BOMB!
GREAT MOVE!  Abismo picks Pentagon up, and he wants to end this...
PENTAGON HITS A RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP!  That came out of nowhere!  Both men
are down, and a blinded Pentagon is struggling to reach his feet!
Both men are up, and Pentagon misses with a punch...  GUTWRENCH SUPLEX
BY ABISMO!  Pentagon hits the canvas hard again!  Abismo is in
control, and here comes the Sky Flying Senton...  MISSED!!!  Both men
down again!  And here comes Xochitl back to ringside!  The cage...
HUH?  The cage has been lifted around two feet from the ground, and
Xochitl slid a chair into the ring!  And just as mysteriously, the
cage lowers again!  What the hell?  Regardless, we have a chair in the
ring now, and Abismo has it!  Abismo seems to be apologizing to
Pentagon, as he winds up...  PENTAGON SUPERKICKS THE CHAIR INTO
ABISMO'S FACE!!!  Abismo's out!  Pentagon glares at the aisleway,
where Xochitl is standing there, stunned!  Pentagon locks on...  A
TEXAS CLOVERLEAF???  Regardless, the referee (who *had* to let all
this go, by Caged Fury Tournament rules) goes down to see if Abismo's
tapping...  Well, he's not even moving!  The hand goes up and down
once...  twice...  THREE TIMES!  PENTAGON ADVANCES!  ABISMO'S MASK IS
NOW ON THE LINE!  TALK ABOUT SHOCKING!

Submission Cage Match:
Pentagon made Abismo Negro submit to a Texas Cloverleaf in 0:08:47.
Rating: ***

Post-match, Pentagon celebrated in the ring, as Xochitl Hamada pretty
much threw a temper tantrum in the aisleway, and the fans didn't know
who to cheer or boo!  And with that, the show drew to a close...

Noti-AAA:

- The AAA Caged Fury Tournament Second Round Brackets look like this:

G1 - Discovery receives a bye into the Semi-Finals.
G1 - Brazo De Oro vs. Pentagon
G2 - Aguila vs. May Flowers
G2 - Sangre Chicana vs. Gran Apache

- The Losers-Advance portion of the Caged Fury Tournament, with the
ultimate loser losing his mask or hair, looks like this:

G1 - El Dandy (*) vs. Histeria
G1 - Binary vs. Abismo Negro
G2 - Magnum Tokyo vs. Electro Shock
G2 - Perro Aguayo vs. Heavy Metal

Note that the Losers-Advance portion is fought under regular AAA
rules, and is *not* in a cage, save for the final match.  Matches
start next week.

- AAA is looking into a potentially huge signing in the next couple of
weeks.  Some newspapers are giving AAA slack for going after former
EMLL wrestlers, but AAA has already said that the wrestler is *not*
from EMLL.

- Octagon was said to have thrown a temper tantrum of his own
backstage after the Santo/Octagon vs. Demon Jr./Warrior match.
Octagon had to be calmed down by AAA officials, and vowed that he
would take Demon Jr. down eventually.

- AAA officials are growing uneasy over the Xochitl Hamada/Pentagon
feud.

- AAA was surprised to learn that Negro Casas worked for American
independent promotion ECWA on Thursday night.  Casas did the J-O-B to
Simon Diamond, en route to Air Paris winning the ECWA Junior
Heavyweight Title.  AAA had made arrangements for some of their stars,
such as El Hijo Del Santo and Matt Hardy, to work the territory, but
said nothing about Casas working it.  Although AAA took no action
against Casas, they warned him to not work for ECWA again without
their permission.  And, of course, AAA does NOT want the newspapers to
find about Diamond beating Casas, for obvious reasons.

- AAA officials are very impressed with Matt Hardy and Moto Cross as
of late.
