AAA House Show (11/13/1999)

Ayako Hamada and Esther Moreno defeated Miss Janeth and Rossy Moreno
when Hamada pinned Miss Janeth after a small package in 0:13:13.
Rating: * 1/2

The night started off with a quick ladies match...  At least, we
thought it would be quick after Janeth hit the Northern Lights Suplex
on Esther 2 minutes in, but Ayako made the save!  The match mainly
consisted of brawling, with a few technical spots mixed in here and
there.  Still a decent match.  End came when Janeth went for a power
bomb, but Ayako rolled her up for the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Matt Hardy, Fugaz and Thunderbird beat Geo, Ultimo Guerrero and Moto
Cross 2 falls to 1:
x Geo beat Thunderbird via the Power Bomb in 0:12:09
x Thunderbird beat Geo via a crucifix in 0:12:34
x M. Hardy beat Geo via a flying legdrop in 0:15:13
Rating: 3/4*

A little sloppy at times, and it seems like the falls were pretty
rushed.  Geo and Thunderbird traded off falls to start, then Matt
Hardy managed to isolate Geo, and after a DDT, finished him off with a
nice flying legdrop for the pin.  Hardy continues to impress in AAA,
while the others (save for Guerrero and maybe Moto Cross) still have
some work to do.

Triangle Match:
Tradicion (El Texano, Sangre Chicana and El Dandy) defeated Los Nuevos
Power Rangers (Discovery, Ludxor and Venum II) and El Mosco, Electro
Shock and Rey Dragon:
x R. Dragon beat Discovery via the Stardust Press in 0:12:08
x Chicana beat R. Dragon via a power bomb in 0:12:31
Rating: 1/2*

Well...  At least it was quick.  The Power Rangers and Mosco's team
were in most of the match, so that was OK.  Again, this match seemed a
little rushed, but Dragon did manage to hit a sweet Stardust Press on
Discovery for the elimination.  However, as soon as Dragon got up,
Tradicion nailed him with a triple power bomb...  AND GOT THE PIN???
Pretty screwy, if you ask me, but Tradicion will take the victory.

Submission Cage Match:
Brazo De Oro made Binary submit to an abdominal stretch in 0:11:05.
Rating: 3/4*

WHOA!  Call this what you want, it was still a surprise in the Caged
Fury Tournament.  Slow-paced match, but at least each wrestler used a
variety of submission moves.  However, Binary went for the Y2K Crash
at the end, and after flipping behind him, Oro locked on the ABDOMINAL
STRETCH OF DOOM!  Binary was trapped, and had no choice but to submit.
Oro moves on to the Second Round, while Binary now has his mask on the
line...

Elimination Match:
Los Vipers (Psicosis, Histeria and Maniaco) and Pentagon beat Mr.
Niebla, Aguila, Magnum Tokyo and Heavy Metal 4 falls to 3:
x H. Metal beat Histeria via the Casita in 0:13:12
x Pentagon beat M. Tokyo via the Asai Moonsault in 0:18:11
x Psicosis beat Mr. Niebla via the Flying Legdrop in 0:27:12
x Aguila beat Pentagon via a Frankensteiner in 0:35:54
x Aguila beat Psicosis via the 450 Splash in 0:36:54
x Maniaco beat H. Metal via the Flying Dropkick in 0:44:38
x Maniaco beat Aguila via a powerslam in 0:48:09
Survivors: Maniaco
Rating: ** 1/4

Best match of the night.  A fast-paced match at the start, which then
slowed down at times.  Metal eliminated Histeria with the Casita at
the 13 minute mark, but Pentagon and Psicosis took out the former
Mexican National Tag Team Champions in succession, making it a
three-on-two fight.  Aguila was then in control, managing to pin
Pentagon in a bit of a surprise, then hitting his 450 Splash to
eliminate Psicosis.  Maniaco was all alone, but managed to hit Metal
with the Flying Dropkick from out of nowhere, to make it Maniaco vs.
Aguila!  Aguila tried some high-risk moves, but he was too tired, and
after a flying cross body attempt from the top, Maniaco mercifully
ended it with a powerslam.  Quite good.
