AAA TV Show (10/06/1999)

[Dark Match]: Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
La Parkita and Pikachu beat Mini Abismo Negro and Mini Psicosis 2
falls to 0:
x Pikachu beat Mini Abismo via the Pika-Sault in 0:12:34
x Parkita beat Mini Psicosis via the Frankensteiner in 0:17:21
Rating: ** 1/4

The sad thing about this one was that it was one of the best matches
of the night.  However, when you only have four minis, you have to try
and use them in every way possible, I guess.  Nice spots by Pikachu
and Parkita.

Welcome to AAA TV, from Pachuca.  Big show this week, and we don't
even have any interviews, thanks to *someone* screwing up in the
production room...  Nah, just kidding.  Anyways, actions speak louder
than words, sometimes...  Let's get to the ring!

MATCH #1: Rey Dragon, Discovery and Electro Shock vs. Binary, May
Flowers and Ultimo Guerrero (#136 in the PWI 500) - 2/3 FALL MATCH

First fall: Finish only.  We learn that Binary isn't perfect,
actually.  Binary picks up Discovery, and nails him with the Y2K
Crash.  However, he doesn't notice Electro Shock come off the ropes
and hit him with a flying clothesline, sending him flying out of the
ring.  May Flowers runs in...  right into a flying dropkick by Electro
Shock.  He goes up top, hits the Flying Splash, and this fall is over.
Tecnicos lead, 1-0.

Second fall: Clip form.  We see Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Dragon
battling on the top rope, before Guerrero manages to send Dragon
flying to the ground with the REVERSE SUPERPLEX!!!  However, Electro
Shock makes the save for the tecnicos.  A little later on, Rey Dragon
rocks Ultimo Guerrero with an Asai moonsault bodyblock, but May
Flowers runs in and makes the save.  Dragon goes after Flowers, but
that wasn't very smart, as Guerrero attacks with an elbow from behind,
followed by a cool spinning power bomb for the three count.  Match is
tied 1-1 now.

Third fall: Ending shown.  Ultimo Guerrero's looking great, sending
Electro Shock crashing down to earth with a series of clotheslines,
then gets a two count on a flying cross body.  However, a DDT attempt
is countered into a backdrop by Electro Shock, and he rolls Guerrero
up for two.  Guerrero comes back with...  EL FAUL!  Right behind the
referee's back!  However, before Guerrero can go for the pin,
Discovery grabs him from behind, and hooks him into the Cadet Clutch!
Guerrero has no choice, since he's in the center of the ring...  HE
TAPS!  TECNICOS WIN!!!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Rey Dragon, Discovery and Electro Shock beat Binary, May Flowers and
Ultimo Guerrero 2 falls to 1:
x E. Shock beat May Flowers via the Flying Splash in 0:05:33
x U. Guerrero beat R. Dragon via a spinning power bomb in 0:16:08
x Discovery beat U. Guerrero via the Cadet Clutch in 0:21:56
Rating: * 1/4

After the match, Flowers and Discovery brawled to the back, as did
Dragon and Guerrero.  However, Electro Shock didn't notice Binary
sneaking up behind him...  Y2K CRASH!!!  Binary leaves Electro Shock
knocked out on the mat, as he makes his exit.

MATCH #2: Brazo Cibernetico vs. Gran Apache - ONE FALL

Before the match, Gran Apache promised a "surprise" for Brazo Ciber
and Negro Casas...

Anyways, Apache had come out with Kickboxer, but Tropicasas sent him
to the back, so he wouldn't be a factor.  Brazo Ciber hit a dropkick
at the start, then locked on an armbar submission.  Apache reached the
ropes, but was quickly taken down with a powerslam.  Single-leg
takedown by Brazo Ciber, followed by a *huge* clothesline that knocked
Apache out of the ring!  After some stalling, he re-entered, but was
whipped to the turnbuckle right away, and kicked repeatively by Brazo
Ciber.  Another powerslam by Brazo Ciber, which gets him a two count.
Apache crawls out of the ring again, but he doesn't have eyes in the
back of his head...  TOPE SUICIDA!!!  WOW!  Brazo Ciber follows up
with a bodyslam on the concrete, then tosses Apache back into the
ring.  Double-axhandle blow to the back by Brazo Ciber, and Apache
tries to hit a Fisherman Suplex out of nowhere, but Brazo Ciber blocks
it!  He can't block a faceslam from out of nowhere, however, and
Apache recovers.  A pair of belly-to-back suplexes by Apache, followed
by some stomps.  Nice vertical suplex by Apache, which gets him a two
count.  Apache's signaling for the finish, as he heads up top...
MOONSAULT!!!  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Apache can't believe it!  He
goes for a vertical suplex, but Brazo Ciber blocks it, and counters
with one of his own!  Running elbowdrop by Brazo Ciber, which gets
two.  Same for a running splash.  Brazo Ciber is now going up top...
MISSES THE FLYING SPLASH!!!  And...  What the hell?  SHIIBA'S RUNNING
TO THE RING!!!  Shiiba climbs to the top...  FROG SPLASH ON BRAZO
CIBER!!!  Tropicasas was checking on Apache at the time!  Tropicasas
ejects Shiiba from ringside, but it's too late.  Apache picks up Brazo
Ciber...  FISHERMAN SUPLEX!!!  The cover...  One...  two...  THREE!!!

Gran Apache pinned Brazo Cibernetico with the Fisherman Suplex in
0:08:01.
Rating: * 3/4

After the match, Kickboxer and Shiiba ran out again, and stomped away
on Brazo Ciber with Apache!  Negro Casas ran out to make the save, but
he was no match for the three.  But, out of nowhere, HEAVY METAL CAME
DOWN TO MAKE THE SAVE FOR THE TECNICOS!!!  The rudos scattered, as
Metal and Casas embraced in the center of the ring!  But Kickboxer and
Shiiba ran right back in, and attacked from behind!  And now...  EDDY
GUERRERO AND STEVE CORINO ARE RUNNING DOWN?  LOS NUEVOS GRINGOS LOCOS!
But right behind them...  AGUILA AND MR. NIEBLA!!!  Tropicasas
immediately calls for the bell, and we have ourselves an unexpected
8-man tag match!

MATCH #3: Aguila (#173 in the PWI 500), Heavy Metal (#95 in the PWI
500), Mr. Niebla (#152 in the PWI 500) and Negro Casas (#33 in the PWI
500) vs. Eddy Guerrero, Kickboxer, Shiiba and Steve Corino (#203 in
the PWI 500) - 2/3 FALL MATCH

How about that?

First fall: Clipped just a little bit.  Casas hits a back suplex on
Kickboxer, then Aguila comes in for a double chop.  Another back
suplex by Casas, followed by a belly-to-back suplex.  Senton attempt
by Casas misses, and Kickboxer recovers with a bodyslam.  Blows are
traded, and Casas tags out to Aguila.  Some chops and kicks to
Kickboxer's thighs by Aguila, followed by a rana for two.  Kickboxer
ends up on the outside, and Aguila's running...  OVER THE TOP POST
SOMERSAULT PLANCHA!!!  QUE MORTAL!!!  Terrific high-risk offense by
Aguila!  Aguila and Eddy Guerrero make it back inside, and Guerrero
counters a rana into a power bomb for two.  Armbar by Guerrero is
blocked by Aguila, and Heavy Metal is tagged in.  Kickboxer jumps in
after him, but that wasn't the best move in the world, as Metal
catches Kickboxer with the Casita!  One...  two...  THREE!!!  Tecnicos
win the first fall!

Second fall: Finish only.  Aguila hits Guerrero with a pair of ranas,
getting near-falls each time.  The third time, however, Guerrero
catches him, and with the help of Corino, spikes Aguila into the mat
with a double power bomb!  Meanwhile, with Metal/Casas and
Kickboxer/Shiiba brawling on the outside, Guerrero easily hits a
flying dropkick on Aguila, followed by the FROG SPLASH!!!  One...
two...  THREE!!!  Rudos take the second fall!

Third fall: Shown in full.  Pier-eight brawl right from the start, as
everyone goes after everyone, and Mr. Niebla almost gets his mask
ripped off by Shiiba and Kickboxer!  Aguila hits Guerrero with a
springboard armdrag (they are the legal men, after all), and follows
up with a top-rope Frankensteiner for a two count.  Shiiba runs right
after Aguila, and sends him down to the mat with a flying dropkick,
setting him up for a Guerrero DDT.  Shiiba and Eddy grab Aguila...
DOUBLE BRAIN BUSTER!!!  WOW!  The cover...  One...  two...  CASAS WITH
THE SAVE!!!  The crowd loved that!  Casas takes down Shiiba with the
Casita, but Kickboxer runs over to break that up, and Aguila's on
top...  450 SPLASH ON SHIIBA!!!  One...  two...  THREE!!!  TECNICOS
WIN!!!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Aguila, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas and Heavy Metal beat Steve Corino,
Eddy Guerrero, Kickboxer and Shiiba 2 falls to 1:
x H. Metal beat Kickboxer via the Casita in 0:05:13
x E. Guerrero beat Aguila via the Frog Splash in 0:11:11
x Aguila beat Shiiba via the 450 Splash in 0:13:28

MATCH #4: Perro Aguayo and Canek vs. El Cobarde and Sangre Chicana
(Tradicion) - ONE FALL

This match should be quite interesting.  Many centuries worth of
experience in the ring.

Canek and Cobarde start off.  Legsweep from Canek as soon as the match
gets underway, followed by a snap suplex.  Perro comes in, and the
tecnicos double-team Cobarde with a double bodyslam.  Jawbreaker by
Canek, and let me just say that the fans are hot for this match.
Canek with a kick to the midsection on Cobarde, followed by an armdrag
takedown.  Tag to Perro.  Cobarde gets knocked to the ground by a
forearm to the back, then is sent crashing to the mat with a back
suplex.  Tag to Canek.  Double kick to the midsection on Cobarde.
Canek tries to bodyslam Cobarde, but that's countered with a facerake.
Finally, Cobarde gets some offense in with a series of chops, followed
by a side suplex.  Cobarde slaps Canek in a headlock, and that's a
perfect time to take a commercial break.

When we come back, Cobarde and Canek are both down as a result of a
double clothesline, and Canek manages to tag Perro in.  Perro takes
down both Cobarde and Chicana with right hands, but Cobarde manages to
clip Perro's knee from behind, and Chicana gains the advantage after a
tag.  Some punches by Chicana, then a DDT out of nowhere!  One...
two...  KICKOUT!  Chicana places Perro in position for a power bomb,
but Perro counters with a backdrop!  Perro runs off the ropes...
LEGDROP!  Tag to Canek!  Canek takes Chicana down with a flying
axhandle, then goes for the pin after a bridging back suplex, but only
gets a two count.  Canek with a bodyslam, waiting for Chicana to get
up...  REVERSE NECKBREAKER!  That could do it!  One...  two...
SHOULDER UP!  Canek goes off the ropes, but Chicana catches him in a
sleeper.  Canek counters with a elbow to the face, followed by a
sleeper of his own!  Chicana breaks it, and whips Canek into the
ropes, but gets hit with a jawbreaker in return.  Chicana gets back
up...  CANEK PRESS!!!  The cover...  COBARDE WITH THE SAVE!  Perro
comes in to save Canek from a two-on-one attack, as Canek and Cobarde
continue to brawl on the outside.  Perro's pounding away on Chicana in
the corner with some punches, and whips him into the ropes...  CHICANA
HOLDS ON TO THE ROPES!  PERRO MISSES A DROPKICK!  Chicana runs over...
CHICANA SPECIAL!!!  Canek's trying to get over to Perro...  PERRO
TAPS!  PERRO TAPS!  RUDOS WIN!!!

Tradicion (El Cobarde and Sangre Chicana) defeated Perro Aguayo and
Canek when Chicana made Perro Sr. submit to the Chicana Special in
0:08:31.
Rating: -***

Wow!  Rudos manage to steal one from the tecnicos there.  Perro and
Canek do *not* look happy at all with the outcome, and let the referee
know it.

MAIN EVENT: Corazon De Leon (#XX in the PWI 500), Octagon (#50 in the
PWI 500) and Ultimo Dragon vs. Abismo Negro, Blue Demon Jr. and
Pentagon - ONE FALL

An excellent six-man tag team main event.

However, despite that, there's only one word that can describe this
one - carnage.

Starts off simple enough.  Corazon and Demon Jr. start.  Lockup, Demon
Jr. whips Corazon into the ropes, and hits him with a dropkick.  Snap
suplex attempt by Demon Jr. is instantly countered by a small package
from Corazon for two.  They exchange blows for a few seconds, then
Demon Jr. regains the advantage with a clothesline.  And now...  What
the hell is that music?  Sounds like "Kiss Me"...  XOCHITL HAMADA'S
COMING DOWN TO THE RING???  IN A LIGHT BLUE GOWN???  Uh-oh...  Demon
Jr. tags out to Abismo Negro, who misses a clothesline, and allows
Corazon to tag Dragon in.  Keep in mind that "Kiss Me" is still
playing, by the way.  Meanwhile, we still have a match to call, and
Dragon hits Abismo with a wicked brain buster.  Demon Jr. attacks
Dragon from behind, and the rudos whip Dragon into the ropes...
DRAGON LANDS HEAD-FIRST AFTER A DOUBLE BACKDROP!  OUCH!  You've got to
be kidding me!  He's still moving after that one?  SICK!  Demon Jr.
slowly picks up Dragon...  and plants him down again with a snap
suplex.  Double chickenwing submission hold applied by Demon Jr. now,
as Xochitl Hamada watches on...  AND NOW TRADICION'S HEADING TO THE
RING???  Actually...  They just went to four empty ringside seats, and
are now watching the match, despite being dressed in their wrestling
attire.  Odd...  Dragon fights his way out of the hold, and tags
Corazon back in.  Series of blows by Corazon on Demon Jr., culminating
in a dropkick/German suplex combo for two.  Meanwhile, Pentagon is
screaming his head off at Xochitl, asking her to leave ringside, but
Xochitl isn't budging!  Corazon goes to power bomb Demon Jr...
FACESLAM COUNTER!!!  Demon Jr. sets up Corazon, and heads for the top
rope...  TOP-ROPE FRANKENSTEINER!!!  THIS IS IT!  The cover...  One...
two...  KICKOUT!  Oh, come on!  Tag made to Abismo.  Abismo whips
Corazon into the ropes, but Corazon runs to his corner, and tags
Octagon in!  Abismo tries to faul Octagon, but Octagon dodges the
attack, and nails Abismo with a backspin armdrag!  Abismo runs to the
outside in order to regroup, but Octagon is waiting...  SILLA FROM THE
APRON!  MISSED!  Oh, what an error there by Octagon!  Abismo heads for
the top rope...  FLYING SOMERSAULT SPLASH!  CONNECTS!  Pentagon grabs
Octagon, and whips him into the guardrail, to boot!  Pentagon tosses
Octagon into the ring, as a brawl erupts on the outside!  Pentagon
goes off the ropes, and springs off...  ASAI MOONSAULT ON OCTAGON!!!
That has to be it right there!  But...  Who tossed that chair into the
ring?  Pentagon picks it up...  AND GOES AFTER XOCHITL!  Pentagon's
yelling at Xochitl...  AND GETS THE CHAIR BLASTED INTO HIS FACE WITH A
SPIN KICK!!!  Pentagon is down, and busted open!  Xochitl smiles, and
runs off, as Octagon comes to!  Abismo goes after Octagon, but Corazon
chases him off, and grabs Pentagon...  HIGH-ANGLE BOSTON CRAB!!!
That's his finisher!  The referee is still distracted by the brawl on
the outside, but Corazon's got the win...  OH!  Abismo breaks it up by
attacking Corazon from behind!  Abismo and Corazon are brawling in one
corner of the ring, while Octagon runs back in, and grabs Pentagon...
OCTACLUTCH!!!  And on the outside, Tradicion has just attacked Ultimo
Dragon from behind!  Pierroth's directing traffic, as the other three
members put the boots to Dragon!  The Octaclutch is still on, but
Demon Jr's on top...  DIVES ONTO OCTAGON'S HEAD WITH THE CHAIR!!!
DAMN HIM!  Demon Jr. grabs Octagon...  STUNNER!!!  The cover...
One...  two...  THREE!!!  RUDOS WIN!!!

Blue Demon Jr., Pentagon and Abismo Negro defeated Corazon De Leon,
Octagon and Ultimo Dragon when Demon Jr. pinned Octagon with the
Stunner in 0:10:15.
Rating: **

WOW!  After the match, Pentagon crawls to the back, and Corazon chases
Abismo into the stands, as Demon Jr. taunts a downed Octagon, and
Pentagon lies in the ring, out cold!  See you next week!
