X. Hamada beat ASARI via the Flying Legdrop in 0:13:43
Rating:
1/2*
Not a very good opener.
The highlight of the match was Rossy pinning
the Mexican National Women's
Champ, Kaori Nakayama. Rest of the match
was pretty slow, with Xochitl
pinning ASARI in the third fall with the
Flying Legdrop, for the
ruda win.

U. Guerrero beat Fugaz via a German suplex in 0:17:44
Rating:

Very good match. Everyone
dove out of the ring at *least* once.
Fugaz managed to do it twice.
Still, the rudos used some great
teamwork to take the match
in two straight falls.

OK, Histeria was the tecnico
in this one. So the two-match win streak
for the rudos is over.
More of a hardcore brawl than anything else,
with Maniaco and Picudo
interfering frequently. Picudo accidentally
hit Flowers with a chair
in the second fall, however, letting Histeria
get a pin with the Vipersault
to sweep the match.
Binary
pinned Ludxor with the Y2K Crash in 0:09:37.
Rating:
DUD
Um... Yeah. Binary's
looking pretty impressive, besides the fact
that he stays on the mat
at *all* times. And that he actually locked
Ludxor in a chinlock for
a full minute. Besides that, this match was
simply... there.
Binary picks up the easy win.

Match:
Los
Vipers (Psicosis and Maniaco) beat Brazo De Oro and Brazo
Cibernetico
2 falls to 1:

Maniaco beat Oro via the Flying Dropkick in 0:10:57
x
B. Cibernetico beat Psicosis via the Flying Splash in 0:16:40
x
Psicosis beat Oro via the Flying Legdrop in 0:25:27
Rating:
* 3/4
Rudos win again! Not
much to say about this match at all, except that
Oro looked fantastic.
After a double superplex by Los Vipers,
however, Oro was pretty
much down for the count, and a Flying Legdrop
by Psic pretty much clinched
it.

OH! Good match, although
not nearly as great as it could have been.
The big story came in the
third fall, however. Tokyo and Dragon were
dominating the match, until
Guerrero slipped a chair into the ring.
He then proceeded to distract
Tokyo, and Corino hit Tokyo with a
Dragon Suplex *onto* the
chair for the win! After the match, Tokyo
had to be helped to the
back, in obvious pain. He's going to be gone
for the next two weeks with
a back injury - and won't get his rematch
with Blue Demon Jr. for
the UWA Junior Heavyweight Title this week!
Noti-AAA:
- Three (count along with
me... One... two... THREE!!!) AAA
wrestlers refused to sign
new contracts, and, as of this moment, are
no longer with the company.
These three are Latin Lover, Octagoncito,
and Charly Manson.
Manson may be AAA's heaviest loss, since he was
involved in a talent exchange
deal with WCW. AAA will attempt to get
in contact with WCW to try
and work out another deal, or failing that,
will attempt to resign Manson.
- Morale in the AAA dressing
rooms has taken another dive after these
happenings, obviously.
AAA is extremely nervous about the fact that
Canek, Cibernetico, Octagon
and Perro Aguayo all have contract
renewals *very* soon.
- As a result of Magnum Tokyo's
injury, Blue Demon Jr. does *not* have
an opponent for this week's
TV show, and will probably NOT have to
defend the UWA Junior Heavyweight
Title. AAA officials believe that
they may not be able to
find a suitable opponent for Demon Jr. on
Tuesday night (for airing
Wednesday night), and would even entertain
offers from other promotions,
just in case. Regardless, Demon Jr.
*will* be on TV this week.
