AAA Verano De Escandalo (09/17/1999)

[Dark Match]: Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:

Guerrero 2 falls to 1:
x R. Dragon beat M. Cross via the Stardust Press in 0:01:16
x M. Cross beat Fugaz via a jack-knife power bomb in 0:07:32
x R. Dragon beat Shiiba via the Stardust Press in 0:12:05
Rating: *

Above-average match featuring six young superstars.  The tecnicos
cornered Moto Cross right away, and pinned him with the Stardust Press
from Rey Dragon to take the first fall.  Rudos fought back, however,
and after a quick dive sequence, Moto Cross took advantage of a winded
Fugaz by pinning him with a jack-knife power bomb.  Things got out of
control in the third fall, as everyone went at it inside and outside
the ring, until Ultimo Guerrero went to go hit Rey Dragon with a
chair...  BUT HE HIT SHIIBA BY MISTAKE!  Dragon dropkicked Guerrero
over the top rope, hit the Stardust Press, and got the win for his
team.

We are in Nuevo Laredo, and it's time for Verano De Escandalo!  7
great matches on tap for tonight, and we have no time to waste!  The
crowd is pumped, and we're ready, along with a new feature, entitled
"AAA Action Replay".  You'll pick up on it as we go along.  Let's head
to the ring for the first bout!

MATCH #1: Octagoncito vs. Mini Abismo Negro - Mexican National Minis
Title Match - ONE FALL

Oh, boy.  Remember their Triplemania match?  They looked to better
that one here.

Lockup, Octacito makes his mark early on with a Mexican armdrag
takedown.  Mini Abismo keeps his cool, however, and takes Octacito
down with a back heel kick on the second lockup.  A Gorilla Press
attempt by Mini Abismo is blocked by Octacito, who then goes for
flying headscissors, but Mini Abismo snaps his head back with a
Hotshot!  Kneedrop by Mini Abismo, followed by an abdominal stretch,
but Octacito gets out of it fairly easily.  Octacito is whipped into
the ropes, and taken down with a Mini Abismo powerslam for two.  Mini
Abismo whips Octacito into the ropes again...  HANDSPRING BODYBLOCK!
The cover...  TWO COUNT!  That was surprising.  Octacito isn't wasting
any time, however, as he waits for Mini Abismo to get up...  MOONSAULT

showing signs of frustration, as he springs off the ropes and hits an
ASAI MOONSAULT!  One...  two...  SHOULDER UP!  Neither man can keep
the other one down, and the crowd loves it!  Octacito tries a spinning
backbreaker, but Mini Abismo counters with an elbowsmash, and both men
toss punches for a bit.  Mini Abismo catches Octacito with a flying
dropkick in the middle of this, and follows up with a flying lariat
that almost takes Octacito's head off!  Mini Abismo doesn't go for the
pin, opting to go up top...  BUT OCTACITO KNOCKED HIM ONTO THE TOP
TURNBUCKLE!  Mini Abismo's in pain, and Octacito will take
advantage...  TOP-ROPE FRANKENSTEINER!  What a move, as shown by AAA
Action Replay!  That may do it!  One...  two...  THREE!  Did he get
him?  NO!  TWO COUNT!  That was close!  Octacito heads up top again...
MISSES A MOONSAULT!  Mini Abismo *barely* moved out of the way!  Both
men get to their feet, and Mini Abismo grabs Octacito...  GERMAN

FANTASTIC MATCH!

Match for the vacant Mexican National Minis Title:

Rating: **** 1/4
(Mini Abismo Negro won the Mexican National Minis Title.)

MATCH #2: Mr. Niebla and Magnum Tokyo (c) vs. Aguila and Pantera -
Mexican National Tag Team Title Match - ONE FALL

This should be fun.  Niebla and Tokyo were betrayed by Aguila and
Pantera, fresh off their tour in ECW, so this should be a great,
high-flying match.

Pantera and Tokyo start off.  Lockup, Pantera hits an armdrag
takedown, but Tokyo responds with one of his own.  Back heel kick by
Pantera, who regains the advantage.  Tokyo's whipped into the ropes,
and taken down with a backdrop by Pantera.  Pantera picks Tokyo up,
and hits a Northern Lights suplex for a two count.  Pantera whips
Tokyo into the ropes again, but Tokyo jumps up, and springs off the
ropes, catching Pantera with an ASAI MOONSAULT!  Tokyo goes for the
pin, but can only get a one count.  Tokyo grabs Pantera...  VIAGRA
DRIVER!!!  Not already!  The pin...  One...  two...  AGUILA WITH THE
SAVE!  Tokyo chases Aguila out of the ring, then grabs Pantera, and
plants him with a DDT.  Shoulderblock by Tokyo, as Niebla is tagged
in.  Niebla goes for a flying cross body, but Pantera rolls through
right away for two.  Both men trade punches and chops for a bit, until
Pantera taunts Niebla with a crotch chop.  He gets clotheslined for
that.  Niebla continues to pound away on Pantera, hitting him with a
good flying cross body this time, and finally sets him up...
FRANKENSTEINER!!!  It's over!  One...  two...  AGUILA WITH ANOTHER
SAVE!  Niebla grabs Pantera, and tosses him into the ropes...  DOUBLE
CLOTHESLINE!!!  Both men are down, and Pantera needs to make a tag...
He's stumbling to his corner...  HE'S GOT IT...  NO!  AGUILA JUST HIT
PANTERA WITH A HOTSHOT!!!  AGUILA JUST TURNED ON PANTERA!  IT WAS A
SETUP!  Niebla, Tokyo, and Aguila stomp away on Pantera, as Tokyo and
Aguila pick him up...  NIEBLA WITH A FRANKENSTEINER FROM THE TOP ROPE!
Great move!  Tokyo picks up Pantera...  VIAGRA DRIVER!  And he's going
up top, as Aguila and Niebla hold Pantera down...  AV STAR PRESS!
It's over!  But Tokyo isn't going for the pin!  Aguila grabs Pantera,
and hits him with a power bomb!  Now he's...  GOING UP TOP!  This
could be...  YES!  450 SPLASH!  The cover...  The ref's counting!
One...  two...  THREE!!!  Tecnicos win!

Handicap-Match:
Magnum Tokyo, Mr. Niebla and Aguila defeated Pantera when Aguila
pinned Pantera with the 450 Splash in 0:06:57.
Rating: ** 3/4

But the beating isn't over yet!  Tokyo, Niebla, and Aguila continue to
pound away on Pantera, who's KO'ed in the center of the ring!  Niebla
and Tokyo grab Pantera's right leg, and Aguila has a chair...  OH!
DRIVES THE CHAIR RIGHT INTO PANTERA'S KNEE!  Now the left leg...  OH!
AGAIN!  Pantera's in bad shape here...  Tokyo's picks him up...
TRIPLE POWER BOMB!  AGUILA AND NIEBLA SPIKED PANTERA'S HEAD DURING THE
POWER BOMB!  All three now hit sentons, while Niebla goes to get a
table...  Oh, no.  They're setting Pantera up...  DOUBLE SUPERPLEX
THROUGH THE TABLE BY NIEBLA AND TOKYO!  Well, Pantera's pretty much
dead now.  As if we didn't get enough of this, the AAA Action Replay
shows us the superplex again.  Aguila, Tokyo and Niebla surprisingly
get *cheered* by fans, as EMT's come out and place Pantera on a
stretcher.  I don't know if he'll ever be the same.

MATCH #3: El Mosco [ECW] vs. Super Crazzy [ECW] - 2/3 FALL MATCH, HAIR
VS. HAIR MATCH

When both wrestlers head back to ECW full-time after this match, one
of them will be as bald as a cueball.  The other will have, for the
time being, come out on the winning end of this long feud.  The
introductions were made, and we were ready.

First fall: Both men stare each other down.  Lockup, Crazzy hits Mosco
with a clothesline, then goes for a spinebuster bomb.  That's reversed
by a Mosco sunset flip for two.  German suplex by Mosco, but that also
gets two.  Looks like a fast-paced match so far.  Flying axhandle by
Mosco, as he looks to wear down Crazzy.  Legdrop by Mosco, who *just*
gets a two count.  Mosco heads up top...  MOONSAULT!  But it only gets
two.  Mosco runs into the ropes, but Crazzy takes him down with a
dropkick.  Crazzy works on Mosco's knee, with some dropkicks to the
right knee, followed by a jumping side kick.  Crazzy locks on a
figure-four, and Mosco's struggling...  BUT REACHES THE ROPES!  Crazzy
still needs to do more work on that leg.  Mosco's taken down with a
clothesline, and Crazzy sets him up on the top rope...  TOP-ROPE
FRANKENSTEINER!  The cover...  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Crazzy,
irate, picks up Mosco, and levels him with a spin kick!  The pin
attempt...  One...  two...  SHOULDER UP!  Crazzy stomps on Mosco for a
few seconds, then places him up top again...  WHOA!  TOP-ROPE POWER
BOMB!  That could let Crazzy win the fall...  NO COVER!  WHAT?  Crazzy
whips Mosco into the corner, and follows in with a splash.  Crazzy
hits another jumping side kick, and goes for an inverted Swinging
DDT...  BLOCKED!  Mosco's come back to life, and he's hammering away
at Crazzy with a series of rights!  Mosco whips Crazzy into the
ropes...  NO!  CRAZZY DRIVER!  Mosco ran right into it...  One...
two...  THREE!!!  Crazzy wins the first fall!

Second fall: Second verse, same as the first.  Crazzy takes down Mosco
right away with a springboard dropkick, then takes Mosco down with an
armbar.  Spin kick by Crazzy, who follows up with a series of stiff
kicks, before hitting Mosco with a power bomb for two.  Crazzy picks
Mosco up and goes for a running power bomb...  MOSCO WITH A SMALL
PACKAGE!  TWO COUNT!  Mosco tries to power bomb Crazzy, but that's
countered with a backdrop.  Crazzy hits another power bomb of his own,
but declines to go for the pin!  Cheap shot by Crazzy, as he hits
Mosco with a forearm from behind, before taking him down with an
inverted DDT!  Crazzy's...  GOING FOR THE CRAZZY DRIVER!!!  UP...  AND
DOWN!  The cover...  One...  two...  NO!  NO!  TWO COUNT!  FOOT ON THE
ROPE!  Crazzy can't believe it!  He drags Mosco to the corner, and
goes up top...  ASAI MOONSAULT!  He's not stopping there...  MOONSAULT
FROM THE SECOND ROPE!  Now Crazzy's going for the pin...  One...
two...  SHOULDER UP!  Crazzy's had it!  He goes up to the top rope...
MOONSAULT!  NOBODY HOME!  Mosco stumbles up, and when Crazzy turns
around...  NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!!  Mosco gets an arm on Crazzy...
One...  two...  THREE!!!  MOSCO TIES IT UP!

Third fall: Both men don't look so how, as the final fall begins.
Crazzy starts off with two kicks, and Mosco counters with two chops.
Mosco manages to toss Crazzy over the top rope, and then decides to go
for it...  RUNNING SOMERSAULT PLANCHA!  CONNECTED!  Both men go down
in a heap!  Mosco's up on his feet first, and he and Crazzy trade
chops as they re-enter the ring.  Crazzy takes down Mosco with a
dropkick, then gains the advantage with a flying spinning leg lariat.
Crazzy actually goes for a pin at this point...  AND GETS TWO!  Crazzy
picks up Mosco, but he's caught off-guard...  RUNNING POWER BOMB BY
MOSCO!  The cover...  One...  two...  THREE!  NO!  TWO!  AAA Action
Replay shows that El Mosco *just* got his shoulder up on that one.  El

x Mosco beat Crazzy via a small package in 0:12:48
Rating: ****

The crowd is going nuts!!!  Mosco is passed out in the center of the
ring, and Crazzy's on his knees, in shock!  Here comes the barber, but
Crazzy pushes him down!  Crazzy has the barber in the corner, and he
raises his fist...

*CRACK*

MOSCO JUST HIT CRAZZY WITH A CHAIR!!!  Crazzy's out!  The barber takes
out a razor, and shaved Crazzy bald!  Mosco tosses the hair into the
audience, as Crazzy slowly recovered.  Crazzy was given a mirror...
and after looking at his head, he screamed like a banshee, and covered
his face.  He wasn't crying, but he was in shock, as he slowly walked
to the back.  After that, El Mosco took the microphone and informed
the fans that he'd still be staying with AAA for a while!  They loved
that.

MATCH #4: Negro Casas (w/Brazo Cibernetico) vs. Gran Apache
(w/Kickboxer) - BOXING MATCH

Both men had their "trainers" in the corner, and the crowd was
"pumped", so we were ready to go.

Round 1:  Very boring round.  Both men talk trash for a minute or so,
until Tirantes orders them to start.  Casas misses some huge swings
early on, and Apache counters with some quick jabs to the head, then
clinches until Tirantes makes him break.  Some more punches by Apache,
but Casas is either blocking them all, or dodging them.  Apache
finally lands a great shot to the neck that stuns Casas, then works on
the body for a bit before Casas has no choice but to force a clinch
and a break.  As the crowd starts to chant "BORING!  BORING!
BORING!", the bell rings to end the round.

Round 2: Both fighters come out swinging in this round, with Casas
getting the better of that exchange.  Apache tosses a strong right,
but Casas dodges it easily.  Now, you have to ask yourself, "Are we
seeing the best these guys have tonight?"  Casas blocks some more of
Apache's punches, then snaps his head back with a strong uppercut.
Some more trash talk by the two, then Apache suckers Casas in, and
nails him with a jab.  Casas dodges the next punch, then hits Apache
with a nice left-right combo.  Before the bell rings to end the round,
however, Apache plants his fist right above Casas' waist, to end it.
Casas looked pretty shaken up after that.

Round 3: Flurry of punches to start off, and Apache gets the better of
Casas.  Another flurry, and this time, Casas takes advantage.  Casas
lands a jab, and Apache decides to clinch.  Tirantes calls for the
break...  HEADBUTT!  FAUL!  Both heads clashed...  And Tirantes calls
it *against* Casas???  Oh, come on!  The AAA Action Replay shows that
it looks like *Apache* hit the headbutt, but there's no point arguing
about the call.  That's what Casas does anyways, and Apache nails him
with a left hook from behind!  Another hook, this time to Casas' left
eye.  Both men clinch - *again* - as Round 3 ends.

Round 4: Um...  Yeah, right.  Casas comes out on fire here, cornering
poor Apache with a flurry of lefts and rights, until Tirantes steps in
between the two to break it up.  While Tirantes checks on Gran Apache,
Kickboxer runs into the ring with a towel, and starts to choke Casas!
Brazo Cibernetico charged in, and rocked Kickboxer with a stiff
clothesline, as they started to brawl in the ring!  Casas went to help
out Brazo Ciber by stomping away on Kickboxer, trying to force him out
of the ring, as Apache goes after Brazo Ciber!  It's chaos in the ring
right now!  Tirantes doesn't know what to do!  Casas and Apache try to
whip each other into the corner, and Apache ends up flying right into
Tirantes, who was in the corner!  REF BUMP!  Casas clotheslines Apache
out of the ring, and goes after Kickboxer again, as Brazo Ciber's
pointing at Tirantes, trapped in the corner...  Oh, no!  He runs...
SPLASH INTO THE CORNER!!!  Tirantes goes down!  Apache clobbers Casas
from behind, as Tirantes weakly calls for the bell!!!  I *guess*
Apache, knowing Tirantes, is going to get the win...  Yup.  Well, that
solved nothing.

Boxing Match:
Gran Apache defeated Negro Casas in the fourth round after a
disqualification at the 2:10 mark. (Total time: 11:10)
Rating: Don't ask.

All four guys brawl to the back, as the fans voice their displeasure.
However, AAA bookers were quick to react, and signed a Casas/Brazo
Ciber vs. Kickboxer/Apache match for TV next week.

MATCH #5: Canek, Ultimo Dragon, Magnum Tokyo and Mr. Niebla vs.
Pierroth Jr., El Cobarde, Sangre Chicana and El Texano (Tradicion) -
WAR GAMES MATCH

Simple format.  Each team was presented with a tumbler, containing
balls numbered from 1 to 4.  That would determine the entrance order.
As well, the tecnicos *won* the coin toss, so they send in their
second man first.  This will be one hell of a war...

0:00 - 5:00: Ultimo Dragon drew #1 for the tecnicos, and Pierroth Jr.
drew #1 for the rudos!

Dragon and Pierroth lock up.  Pierroth misses a clothesline, and
Dragon counters with a kick.  Pierroth's whipped into the corner, and
walks right into a clothesline.  Both men trade punches and kicks,
until Pierroth blocks a back suplex and hits Dragon with an
enzuilariato.  Dragon recovers, however, and hits Pierroth with
spinning headscissors, followed up by a vertical suplex.  Pierroth
then takes Dragon down with a chop.  Lariat by Pierroth, who proceeds
to grind Dragon's face into the cage.  Pair of forearm smashes by
Pierroth Jr., who, this time, rakes Dragon's face into the cage.
Pierroth tosses Dragon into the ropes, and takes him down with a
shoulderblock.  Flying clothesline by Pierroth, who picks Dragon up...
HOTSHOT!  Down goes Dragon!  Pierroth has him in position...  NO!
PIERROTHBOMB!  Pierroth might have the match won already...

5:00 - 7:00: ...UNTIL MAGNUM TOKYO RAN IN!  2-1 advantage for the
tecnicos, and they took advantage of it!  Tokyo whips Pierroth into
the ropes, and takes him down with a stiff elbow.  Pierroth blinds
Tokyo with an rake to the eyes, then takes Dragon down again with a
flying clothesline, until Tokyo makes the save with a flurry of blows
to Pierroth's back.  Pierroth picked Tokyo up for a possible
PierrothBomb, but Tokyo made sure that wouldn't happen with a rana
counter!  Tokyo lands a swinging neckbreaker, as he and Dragon
double-team Pierroth until...

7:00 - 9:00: ...El Cobarde enters.  2-2 now.  Pierroth and Dragon go
at it, as do Tokyo and Cobarde.  Pierroth misses a clothesline, and
Dragon takes him down with a backdrop.  Cobarde makes his way over,
however, and takes Dragon down with a backdrop.  Tokyo manages to work
his way over, and he and Dragon team up to take down Pierroth with a
double power bomb!  That's short lived, however, as Cobarde sweeps
them both off their feet with a double clothesline.  Pierroth's up...
PIERROTHBOMB ON TOKYO!  CHOKE SLAM ON DRAGON!  The tecnicos are in
*serious* trouble...

9:00 - 11:00: ...HERE COMES NIEBLA!  3-2 advantage for the tecnicos!
Niebla and Pierroth trade chops, as the action intensifies.  Niebla
whips Pierroth into the ropes, but he's taken down with a lariat.  A
few seconds later, however, Niebla does it again, and this time, hits
Pierroth with a spinning neckbreaker.  On the other side of things,
Tokyo knocks Cobarde down with a spin kick.  Pierroth tries to
bodyslam Niebla, but he's caught in a high cross body as a counter!
Dragon takes down both rudos with a double clothesline, then hits a
spinning leg lariat on Cobarde...

11:00 - 13:00: ...as El Texano enters.  3-3 at the moment.  Dragon
again hits Cobarde and Pierroth with a double clothesline, until
Texano jumps him.  Dragon tries to take Texano down with a
Frankensteiner, but he counters with a power bomb.  Double flying
axhandle by Pierroth and Cobarde, as Pierroth grabs Dragon, and locks
him in a dreaded Canadian backbreaker.  Meanwhile, Texano hits Niebla
with a vertical suplex, and Cobarde attempts to choke the life out of
Tokyo!  Dragon manages to work his way out of the submission hold, but
Cobarde's right on his back with a chokehold.  Things look to be going
Tradicion's way now...

13:00 - 15:00: ...BUT CANEK IS IN!  Canek runs in and clips Cobarde's
knee from behind!  Meanwhile, Pierroth and Texano hit Tokyo with a
double backdrop.  Niebla lays out Pierroth with a vertical suplex,
while Cobarde chokes Canek against the ropes.  Canek breaks free, and
these two go at it for a little bit, until Niebla comes over to help.
Double forearm smash by Niebla and Canek on Cobarde.  Both men go
after Pierroth, but Cobarde gets up and grabs Tokyo...  POWERSLAM!
Good way to let...

15:00 - End: ...SANGRE CHICANA COME IN!  Now, the match goes on until
someone submits for their team!  Chicana hits Tokyo with a power bomb,
as everyone else brawls around the cage.  Tokyo responds with a
swinging neckbreaker, but gets backdropped on a DDT attempt, as
Chicana stomps away.  Cobarde comes over, and they hit Tokyo with a
double vertical suplex.  Pierroth gets a kick blocked by Dragon, and
Canek helps out Dragon, as they send Pierroth crashing to the ground
with a double bodyslam.  Canek whips Pierroth into the ropes...  CANEK
PRESS!!!  Pierroth is down!  Dragon, meanwhile, hits Texano with a
dropkick, but Cobarde sneaks up behind him.  Cobarde and Texano pound
away on Dragon in the corner, and Cobarde picks him up...  BLOCKED
POWERSLAM!  Dragon recovers, and whips Cobarde into the cage!  Dragon
and Niebla wait a second, then hit Cobarde with a double dropkick!
Dragon puts Cobarde in a front facelock, and this *may* do it!!!
Cobarde is struggling, as Dragon puts on more pressure.  Cobarde's
starting to fade...  TEXANO WITH THE SAVE!  Cobarde knocks Dragon down
with a vertical suplex, and Texano takes Dragon down with spinning
headscissors.  Tokyo runs at Cobarde...  DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!!!
OUCH!!!  Both men hit their heads on the way down, and they're both
out of it!  Chicana bodyslams Canek, but Dragon grabs him from
behind...  DRAGON SLEEPER!  SAVE BY PIERROTH!  Everyone, save for
Tokyo and Cobarde, is hammering away on each other!  I...  WAIT A
SECOND!  Pierroth just slammed Canek's head into the cage...  AND
HANDCUFFED HIM TO THE CAGE!!!  It's a 3-on-2 situation now!  Pierroth
and Texano corner Dragon, and...  HOLD HIM THERE???  What are they
doing?  Niebla misses a clothesline on Chicana, and...  FAUL!!!  FAUL
BY CHICANA!  Niebla rolls around in pain!  Chicana has him in
position...  CHICANA SPECIAL!!!  Pierroth and Texano are trying to
restrain Dragon, who's trying to make the save!  Niebla's
struggling...  He's giving it all he has!  The fans are cheering
Niebla on...  NO!  NO!  HE'S OUT!  HE'S OUT COLD!  TRADICION WINS THE
WAR GAMES MATCH...  BUT IT'S NOT OVER YET!

War Games No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Tradicion (El Cobarde, El Texano, Pierroth Jr. and Sangre Chicana)
defeated Canek, Ultimo Dragon, Mr. Niebla and Magnum Tokyo when
Chicana made Mr. Niebla submit to the Chicana Special in 0:24:05.
Rating: * 1/2

DRAGON'S SHOOK OFF PIERROTH AND TEXANO!  Double clothesline to the
pair!  Cobarde's recovered, and he and Dragon go at it!  Chicana
*still* has the Chicana Special on a unconscious Niebla!  Tokyo's up,
and he's trying to get the handcuffs off of Canek!  Oh, come on!
Chicana's had Niebla in that move for 40 seconds now!  Pierroth sneaks
up behind Dragon...  OH!  HE FAULED COBARDE BY MISTAKE!  Dragon grabs
Pierroth, and locks on the Dragon Sleeper!  Canek is out of the trap,
and he breaks the Chicana Special, which was on Niebla for over a
minute!  The cage is slowly rising, as Pierroth is fighting the Dragon
Sleeper, and Canek and Tokyo are forcing the other rudos out of the
ring!  Finally, after Pierroth passed out, Dragon relinquished the
Dragon Sleeper, and tossed him out of the ring.  The beaten tecnicos,
joined by Aguila, helped Niebla to the back, and didn't look pleased
at all, despite the standing ovation by the fans.  After the match,
the AAA Action Replay showed some of the post match events, as well as
the Chicana Special.

MATCH #6: Octagon vs. Pentagon - ONE FALL, GRUDGE MATCH

This one would, with any luck, make up for the debacle at Triplemania
in June.  Before the match even started, the referee checked to make
sure that Pentagon wasn't wearing any other masks underneath his own.
That checked out fine.  Then, Pentagon took out a chain, and grabbed
the microphone, as Octagon made his way out:

"Octagon...  NO DQ!  NO COUNTOUTS!  CHAIN MATCH!  If we're going to
have a grudge match, we might as well do it with style!"

Octagon pauses, and agrees...  THIS ISN'T A TRADITIONAL CHAIN MATCH!
Pentagon is whipping Octagon with the chain as the bell rings!
Pentagon is stomping away at Octagon, choking him with the chain!
Octagon is tossed outside, and Pentagon waits...  TOPE SUICIDA!!!
WOW!  They're both on the outside now, as Pentagon continues to hammer
away on Octagon...  OH!  Pentagon went to whip Octagon into the ring
steps, but Octagon reversed it!  Octagon grabs the chain...  OUCH!
Wrapped it around his fist, and leveled Pentagon!  Octagon's looking
around the ring area, and he checks under the ring...  Oh, there's a
cookie sheet...  WHAM!  Pentagon goes down again!  Octagon grabs a
fire extinguisher, and he's going after Pentagon with it...  OUCH!
Pentagon dropkicked it right into Octagon's face!  Pentagon picks up
Octagon, and slams him down onto the concrete.  Pentagon looks at the
fire extinguisher, and sprays it into Octagon's face!  Octagon is
tossed back into the ring, and Pentagon grabs Octagon...  SPIN KICK!
Picks him up again...  ANOTHER SPIN KICK!  Pentagon goes for the
cover...  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Pentagon picks Octagon up, but a
faceslam attempt is blocked, and Octagon counters with one of his own!
Pentagon's tossed out of the ring, and Octagon follows.  Octagon

"Pentagon!  Well...  you wanted the match, so how about we make it
official right now!  MASK VS. MASK!  No ways out!  You and me!  How

Octagon hands the microphone to Pentagon, who pauses for a second,
then speaks:

"Hm...  NO!"

Oh, come on!  Pentagon leaves the ring, as he and Octagon continue to
yell at each other.

(Blue Demon Jr. won the Mexican National Heavyweight Title.)

Abismo's done it!  He just turned him back for good on Los Vipers...
AND HERE THEY COME!!!  Psicosis, Histeria, and Maniaco charge the
ring, and attack Abismo!  Abismo manages to run away, as does Demon
Jr., with his newly won title.  Los Vipers check on Cibernetico, who
is lying there, busted open as a result of the chairshot.  Abismo just
stands in the crowd, laughing at Cibernetico, as Demon Jr. flips off
the crowd, holding his newly won title!  Los Vipers glare at Abismo,
then turn their attention on their fallen former champ, as the show
ends...  and the fans don't like the finish one bit, booing Abismo and
Demon Jr. out of the building.  AAA Action Replay showed the two
chairshots, followed by the Stunner (from *3* different angles) which
earned Demon Jr. the title.

What a night!  What a finish!  Why did Abismo help Demon Jr. out?  Why
did Abismo wait until now to turn his back on Los Vipers?  How will
Los Vipers survive with only 4 members???

Maybe we'll find out next Wednesday.  See you then.  Good night.
