AAA House Show (07/24/1999)

(We're here, from the mean streets of Tepic, Mexico tonight.)

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Pikachu and Tzuki beat Pierrothito and Mini Abismo Negro 2 falls to 1:
x Mini Abismo beat Pikachu via a Soviet suplex in 0:08:57
x Tzuki beat Mini Abismo via the Crucifix Roll-Up in 0:19:27
x Tzuki beat Pierrothito via a sunset flip in 0:27:37
Rating: * 3/4

Long minis match to start us off here tonight.  Both Tzuki and
Pierrothito made belt motions throughout the match.  Pikachu missed a
flying dropkick in the first fall, which allowed Mini Abismo to hit a
Rock Bottom... er, Soviet suplex for the win.  However, Tzuki was
awesome tonight, hitting all his spots and rocking the rudos with
clotheslines.  Mini Abismo succumbed to the Crucifix Roll-Up in fall
two.  Finally, in the third fall, Pierrothito faked a faul to try win
the fall for the rudos, but Tropicasas saw right through it.
Pierrothito went to argue with Tropicasas, who kicked him right into a
sunset flip by Tzuki!  Tecnicos take it, 2-1.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Venum II, Discovery and Brazo De Oro beat Abeja Africana, Avispa and
Shiiba 2 falls to 1:
x A. Africana beat Discovery via a power bomb in 0:17:19
x Venum II beat Avispa via the Moonsault Bodyblock in 0:20:38
x Venum II beat Avispa via a Frankensteiner from the top rope in
0:23:39
Rating: * 3/4

Nothing to write home about here.  Abeja hit Discovery with a power
bomb out of nowhere for the first fall, but the tecnicos bounced back
after Avispa charged into the corner to splash into Venum II, but
ended up going headfirst into the turnbuckle, and when he got up, he
was greeted with a Moonsault Bodyblock for the second fall.  Third
fall saw a brawl erupt on the outside, and Avispa brought in a chair,
but Oro dropkicked it right into Avispa's face, and Venum II hit a
Frankensteiner from the top rope for the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Steve Corino and Zumbido beat Rey Dragon and Ludxor 2 falls to 0:
x Corino beat R. Dragon via a power bomb in 0:17:49
x Zumbido beat R. Dragon via the Moonsault in 0:23:58
Rating: * 1/2

Corino's winning ways continued in this match.  Basic back and forth
action, with Rey Dragon dishing out a lot of high-flying spots... and
getting pinned both times by the rudos for the 2-0 victory.
Post-match, Zumbido and Dragon had a few words for each other, but
cooler heads seemed to prevail.  Ludxor seemed to be out of it for
much of the match.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Magnum Tokyo beat Nemesis 2 falls to 0:
x M. Tokyo beat Nemesis via the Swinging DDT in 0:11:36
x M. Tokyo beat Nemesis via a top-rope Frankensteiner in 0:14:22
Rating: *** 1/4

Best match of the night.  Tokyo's neck was bandaged up a bit, but he
looked fine, and the ladies seemed to be happy about that.  Nemesis
hit a faul early on, and dominated young Tokyo, but couldn't keep
those shoulders down for a three count.  Tokyo fired back, and knocked
out Nemesis with a Swinging DDT for the first fall.  Nemesis was still
groggy in the second fall, and after a Viagra Driver, Tokyo hit a
top-rope Frankensteiner to take the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Gran Apache, El Texano and Mosco De La Merced beat El Mosco, Perro
Aguayo and Negro Casas 2 falls to 1:
x Perro beat Merced via a senton in 0:09:31
x Merced beat N. Casas via a foreign object in 0:15:32
x Merced beat N. Casas via a crucifix in 0:18:57
Rating: * 1/4

Interesting tag match to end the show.  Perro juiced after 3 minutes,
so it couldn't be all that bad.  Mosco was prime pickings for Perro,
who pinned him with a senton.  Rudos came right back, as Psicosis ran
to the ring to hand Mosco a baseball bat, and the rudo put it to good
use by cracking Negro Casas on the head with the bat for the second
fall.  Third fall saw all hell break loose, with Tradicion running
down to the ring, only to be stopped by Perro, who was fortunate
enough to have a chair with him.  That didn't stop Mosco from taking a
wounded Casas, and getting the win with a crucifix.  Not exactly the
best match in the world.  Rudos celebrated as the fans left.
