Talk about a curse.  Armstrong gets pinned in 4 minutes by Sagrada
Jr... and again to end the match and to let the tecnicos sweep it!
Post match, Armstrong looked especially pissed.  Who wouldn't blame
him?

Welcome to AAA TV!  This show... is going to be very unique.  There's
an 8-man Battle Royal (with pinfalls only...) for a shot at
Cibernetico's Mexican National Heavyweight Title.  The participants?
Abismo Negro of Los Vipers, Blue Demon Jr., Canek, former Viper
Electro Shock, Octagon, Pentagon, Perro Aguayo and Tradicion leader
Pierroth Jr. form the field.

However, to start off, we're going back... to Saturday.  Super Crazzy
and Ultimo Dragon met in the house show main event.  This was one hell
of a match, to put it simply.  We now present the match to you, in
whole.  Enjoy!

BONUS MATCH: Ultimo Dragon vs. Super Crazzy [ECW] - 2/3 FALL MATCH
(Taped 07/17/1999)

Damn.  This was...  truly a classic.

OK.  This is straight play-by-play, so don't be surprised by how many
killer moves there are, all right?

Both guys lock up, give each other a few hiptosses, and then out of
nowhere, Crazzy hits a power bomb for a two count.  Crazzy whips
Dragon into the ropes, but gets knocked down with an elbow.  Dragon
places Crazzy onto the top rope, and hits a superplex!  Crazzy tries
an Asai moonsault, but gets knocked loopy with a Yakuza kick courtesy
of Dragon.  Dragon with a moonsault of his own, but it only gets two.
Super Crazzy rebounds with some chops, but can't land a springboard
dropkick, and misses Dragon by a country mile.  Dragon connects with a
waistlock suplex for another two count.  As Dragon hits Crazzy with a
shoulderblock, Tradicion came to ringside.  Yes, the men do go outside
of the ring, and Dragon wows the crowd with a perfectly executed
spinning headscissor takedown, and whips Crazzy into the guardrail to
give us some juice early on.  Back inside, Dragon hits a back suplex,
followed by a power bomb... but Crazzy kicks out!  Crazzy slowly makes
his way up, and slaps Ultimo right in the face!  Bad move...  Dragon
kicks him in the midsection, hits another power bomb, and locks on the
Dragon Sleeper!

Crazzy's fading...

Hand goes up once...

Twice...

STAYS UP THE THIRD TIME!  Crazzy is out, however, on the ground.
Dragon looks a little shocked, but goes for a pin...  TWO COUNT!
Dragon is stunned!  Pierroth distracts Dragon for a few seconds, and
that gives Crazzy the opening he really needed.  Swinging DDT on
Dragon, a pause, then a springboard dropkick.  Crazzy props Dragon
into the corner, and chops him a few times until the local referee
tells him to stop.  So, Crazzy stomps away on Dragon a few times, and
almost gets a DQ for excessive violence.  So, Crazzy waits... and then
hits a moonsault!  TWO COUNT!  Dragon's still in better shape than
Crazzy!  Crazzy clips Dragon's knee from behind, and while he rolls
around on the ground, hits another moonsault!  Only two!  Crazzy says
that the fall's over...  Oh, no!  CRAZZY DRIVER!  WOW!  But... he's
not going for the pin!  What is he thinking!  He helps Ultimo up to
his feet... INSIDE CRADLE!  One... two... NO!  Crazzy gets up after
Ultimo does... and there's another DRAGON SLEEPER!  But Crazzy's too
close to the ropes, and rubs them a few times.  Ref makes Dragon break
it.  Dragon with a power bomb...  One... two...  CRAZZY BARELY KICKS
OUT!  Now Dragon helps Crazzy up to his feet...  CRAZZY DRIVER!  Both
men are down!  And now El Mosco's at ringside!  Crazzy slowly turns
over to count...  One... two... KICKOUT!  NO!  Crazzy tries for a
German suplex...  Dragon reverses!  One... two... KICKOUT!  Crazzy
gets up, and takes down Dragon with another clip to the leg from
behind...  SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT!  Could this be it?  Wait a sec...
El Texano just entered the ring!  The referee orders him back to the
outside, but not before Mosco kicked Crazzy in the back of the head,
and put Dragon on top of him!  But, before the referee can turn
around, Cobarde elbows Dragon in the head, and puts Crazzy on top of
Dragon!  Referee turns around...  One... two... THREE!  Crazzy takes
fall one!

The second fall starts, and Crazzy starts to try and put Dragon away
in what would certainly be considered an upset.  Handspring
moonsault...  Only two!  Standing moonsault...  Near fall!  Cobarde
tosses Crazzy a fire extinguisher, and that's used with plenty of
gusto.  That might have whacked Dragon into next week!  The cover...
One...  two...  FOOT ON THE ROPES!  Crazzy picks Dragon up, and tries
to chop Dragon, but he blocks, and Dragon hits his kick combo we all
know and love!  Dragon whips Crazzy into the ropes, but Crazzy
reverses...  CRAZZY DRIVER!  He's not going for the pin!  What?  Picks
up Dragon, and gets a kick to the gut for his troubles.  Dragon heads
up top...  ASAI MOONSAULT!  Both men are down!  The referee's
counting...  Dragon gets up at nine.  Dragon sets Crazzy up...  DRAGON
SLEEPER!  It's on!  Crazzy isn't moving!  This could be it...  Oh, no!
Pierroth put Crazzy's foot on the ropes!  Dragon goes over to
Pierroth...  HE DECKS HIM!  Dragon turns around...  CRAZZY DRIVER!
This could be it...  Wait a sec!  El Mosco's in...  NORTHERN LIGHTS
SUPLEX!  Places Dragon on top of Crazzy...  One...  two...  THREE!!!
We're tied up!

Third fall was short, but had plenty of moments.  Crazzy tossed Dragon
out of the ring, and jumped onto him with a SPACE FLYING TIGER DROP!
Surprisingly, Crazzy managed to get up before Dragon, sprung off the
ropes, and nearly killed himself with a moonsault right into Dragon
and the guardrail!  The referee sent Tradicion and El Mosco back to
the locker rooms, so we'll have a decisive finish.  Back inside the
ring, Crazzy wanted to end this.  SCREWDRIVER!  One... two... KICKOUT!
So...  Crazzy hits a POWER BOMB!  One... two...  THREE!  NO!  TWO!
Crazzy's starting to get pissed...  INVERTED SWINGING DDT!  WOW!
One... two...  FOOT ON THE ROPES!  Crazzy can't solve Dragon!  RUNNING
POWER BOMB!  This should do it!  One... two...  SHOULDER UP!  At the
last second!  Crazzy is exhausted!  He grabs Dragon, and sets him up
on the top rope!  What is this going to be...  NO!  TOP-ROPE POWER
BOMB!  This is it!  Crazzy's down!  He has to cover Dragon...  He
does!  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  He waited too long!  Crazzy picks up
Dragon again...  CRAZZY DRIVER!  Crazzy's going to win this...  wait a
second!  WAIT JUST A MINUTE!  He's placed Dragon in the center of the
ring, and he's going up top!  Uh-oh...  He's going to mock Dragon!
ASAI MOONSAULT!  MISSED!!!  Dragon moved out of the way!  Both men are
down!  The referee starts the count...  1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6...
Both men are slowly getting up to their feet...  7... 8... 9...
Crazzy's up.  Crazzy staggers over to Dragon, and has him set up for a
German suplex...  NO!  Dragon goes behind Crazzy, and delivers a
German suplex of his own!  The crowd is going nuts!  Both pairs of
shoulders are down!  The referee counts...  One...  two...  THREE!
DRAGON MOVED HIS SHOULDER AT THE LAST SECOND!  HE WINS!

Unbelievable match!  The fans gave both wrestlers a standing ovation
for around 5 minutes, as Crazzy staggered up to his feet.  Both
wrestlers exchanged a handshake and a few words, before they made
their way out of the arena, tired and beaten.

The fans ate every second of the match up.

OK.  That was fun.  Now, let's head to this week's action, from Leon.

MATCH #1: Mr. Niebla, Brazo De Oro and Rey Dragon (AAA Debut) vs.
Steve Corino, Abeja Africana and Zumbido (AAA Debut) - 2/3 FALL MATCH

Dragon and Zumbido are promising youngsters looking to carve a spot
out for themselves in AAA.  The other guys just want a win, and Corino
wants to keep moving up in the rankings.

Corino was in control of Niebla early on.  Corino offered to shake
Niebla's hand, but ended up booting the tecnico in the gut.  Lovely.
Corino used some basic brawling tactics to wear Niebla down, but got
rolled up for two.  So, Corino decided that it was time to bring out
the big guns.  A power bomb managed to slow down Niebla, and a
top-rope DDT would have gotten him the pin, if Oro hadn't made the
save.  Zumbido was tagged in, and pasted Niebla right away with a
superkick for a two count.  Zumbido tried to put him away with a
fisherman suplex and a moonsault, but Niebla kicked out both times,
and after a double clothesline, tagged Oro in, who proceeded to
execute ranas on all three rudos, which led to a bit of chaos.  Corino
pasted Rey Dragon with an inverted DDT, but wasn't quite looking out
for Oro, who drilled him with the Frankensteiner for the first fall!

Second fall started, and Rey Dragon took on Zumbido.  They exchanged
some chops, before Zumbido took down Dragon with a clothesline, and
started to choke him before Niebla made the save.  Zumbido connected
with a belly-to-back suplex, but went for a moonsault a little too
early... and missed!  Rey Dragon was back on his feet, chopping and
kicking Zumbido into the corner, before taking him down with a
dropkick.  Zumbido was taken down with spinning headscissors, and gets
knocked down again with a springboard dropkick for two.  The spotfest
continued, as Dragon hit a 450 splash for another two count, as Corino
made the save.  Dragon then attempted a handspring moonsault, and
landed it, but Abeja made the save with a stiff kick to Dragon's head.
Abeja choked Dragon against the ropes, then pretty much took care of
him with a cool series of snap suplexes, culminating with his Flying
Splash for the pinfall victory.  Match is tied 1-1.

What time is it in the third fall?  Carwreck time!  Niebla starts the
sequence by tossing Corino out of the ring, and hitting him with a
running somersault plancha.  Niebla gets up, and he's decked with a
tope con hilo by Zumbido.  Then, as Zumbido gets up, Oro jumps onto
him with a head tope.  Guess what happens now?  Abeja leaps onto Oro
with a twisting plancha!  And finally, to end this, Dragon goes to the
top rope, and takes everyone out with an Asai moonsault to the floor!
Great sequence!  That took up most of the fall.  Corino and Dragon
stumbled into the ring, with Dragon setting up Corino for a top-rope
Frankensteiner, but Corino countered with a *huge* power bomb!  That
was it for Dragon.  One Northern Lights suplex later by Corino, and
this was over.  2-1 win for the rudos.

After the match, Corino got on the microphone and said that he wants
some challenging opponents.  To quote: "Hey, I have family at home, I
have charities to donate to, I have various... matters that I have to
take care of, and so on and so on.  I'm not gonna be able to do that
by fighting loser opponents like these guys.  I want to fight the top
guys in AAA!  I want to be a star!  Tonight, later on, after I go to
the back, cool off, have some of that cold piss that you Mexicans try
to pass off as beer, and attempt to go to the can, if I have the
guts...  Anyways, I'll be calling someone out tonight, so be warned,
because unlike you pussies back there, I'm a champion, and a fighting
one at that!"

MATCH #2: El Mosco [ECW] and Ultimo Dragon vs. Mosco De La Merced and
Super Crazzy [ECW] - 2/3 FALL MATCH

This match will be great in so many ways.  I hope...

First fall saw Crazzy and Mosco double team El Mosco like caged
rats... or something like that.  Both men stomped away on El Mosco,
and the crowd didn't like it one bit.  Someone tossed a can into the
ring, so Crazzy put it to good use by cutting El Mosco open!  Ouch!
Dragon was eventually tagged in, and he and Crazzy put on another fine
show, with Crazzy kicking out of not one, but two German suplex
attempts, and putting Dragon through three moonsaults before El Mosco
made the save there.  Finally, the fall ended when Mosco hit a flying
senton on Dragon, and Crazzy followed up with a Crazzy Driver, but El
Mosco ran in and planted Crazzy with a Northern Lights suplex for the
pin!

Second fall was short and sweet.  Crazzy actually tried to TOMBSTONE
El Mosco, but the ECW tecnico slid down Crazzy's back to get out of
it.  After a rake to the eyes, however, Mosco was tagged in, and El
Mosco went through hell (and almost through the ring) with a double
power bomb by the rudos, followed by a double bodyslam.  Dragon ran
into the ring to help, but was put through the Crazzy Driver.  In a
fall dominated by the rudos, Crazzy moonsaulted onto El Mosco, and
Mosco hit his Flying Senton for the win.  We're all tied up now.

El Mosco was still shaken up from the second fall, and Mosco took
advantage with a slingshot somersault splash at the beginning of the
third fall.  The damn AAA editors decided to cut a few minutes out of
the third fall, which is a damn shame, because there were several near
falls by both Mosco and El Mosco in that timeframe, including some
nice roll-ups.  When we come back, Dragon was just tagged in, and he's
cleaning house.  Crazzy gets taken down with a back suplex, and so is
Mosco.  Dragon manages to lock the Dragon Sleeper onto Crazzy, but
that left Mosco and El Mosco without any help, as the referee was
focused on them.  Finally, as the referee made Dragon break the hold
when Crazzy's foot got tangled up in the ropes, El Mosco was the
recipient of a Fuerza Punt.  Flying Senton, referee turns around,
three count, it's over.  Rudos win.  Cheap ending, but a good match,
with tons of heat.

Afterwards, Crazzy, Mosco and El Mosco tossed out some challenges, but
nothing came out of them tonight.

And now, here comes...  Steve Corino.

"All right, it's pretty obvious why I'm out here, because I have a
challenge.  I told you pieces of dog crap that I wanted to take
someone on tonight, and after checking out everyone that was in the
locker room, I wanted to throw up and get the hell out of this
country, but I don't think that's allowed in my contract.  Anyways,
Brazo Ciber, get your huge gut out here, because I want you here,
tonight, mano a mano!"

Oh, boy.  Nice move, Corino.

Brazo Ciber storms out, and pounds away on Corino.  Corino tried to
fight back, but was the victim of a huge bodyslam!  Corino tried to
beg off, but got hit with a side suplex, and ended up squashing poor
Corino with the Flying Splash.  Now that the medics have come out and
scraped poor Corino off the mat, Brazo Ciber waited for his
*scheduled* opponent...

MATCH #3: Brazo Cibernetico vs. Gran Apache - 2/3 FALL MATCH

...Gran Apache.  Apache stormed out and chopped away at Brazo Ciber,
but the tecnico bounced right back with a side suplex.  However, Brazo
Ciber missed a falling splash, and Apache took control...for about
half a minute.  In a surprisingly quick fall, Apache missed a legdrop,
and Brazo Ciber hit his Flying Splash for the pin!  He's up, 1-0.

Second fall was full of brawling.  Both men went to the outside,
Apache got busted open by Brazo Ciber after going headfirst into the
guardrail, a fan tried to get a shot in at Apache and failed
miserably...  Just another day at the office.  And then, if this match
couldn't get any worse, they resorted to restholds.  Oh, come on.
This fall was as boring as hell, to be perfectly honest.  The finish,
if you honestly care, came when Ciber missed another Flying Splash,
and Apache took control with a power bomb for a two count, then the
Fisherman Suplex, which sealed the deal to tie this match up 1-1.
Pray that these two saved the best for last.

Hm...  Could have been worse.  Apache started off with a vertical
suplex and a belly-to-back suplex, but could only get a two count.
Brazo Ciber charged back with a huge dropkick, and slammed Apache onto
the mat, hard.  After another dropkick, Brazo Ciber went for a
facerake, but Apache blocked it and landed a headbutt.  Apache went up
top, and delivered with a flying senton, but could only keep Brazo
Ciber's shoulders down for two.  Another headbutt by Apache also got
two.  Apache tosses Brazo Ciber out of the ring, and hit the best spot
of the match, a somersault bodyblock off the apron!  Back inside the
ring, Apache hit a double underhook faceslam, and that was it.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Gran Apache beat Brazo Cibernetico 2 falls to 1:
x B. Cibernetico beat Apache via the Flying Splash in 0:02:21

Rating: * 1/4

After the match, however, Apache nailed Brazo Ciber with the Fisherman
Suplex *twice*, and that was all he could do, as Negro Casas charged
out, with a pair of...  BOXING GLOVES?  Casas chased Apache out of the
ring, then made some sort of challenge, pointing to the gloves.
Apache looked pissed, and walked off.  Don't know if he accepted or
not, but what was that all about?

MATCH #4: Psicosis, Maniaco and Histeria (Los Vipers) vs. Sangre
Chicana, El Cobarde and El Texano (Tradicion)

This one was clipped for TV - and I mean, clipped.  They just showed
the finish of the first two falls, then went right to the third fall.
Idiots.

And yes, Los Vipers were the tecnicos here.

First fall: Histeria lands some stomps on an injured Cobarde, and tags
out to Maniaco, so they can land a double fistdrop.  However, Los
Vipers gave Cobarde just enough time to tag in Chicana, and after
clearing the ring, pinned Maniaco with a senton in the center of the
ring.  Tradicion's up, 1-0.

Second fall: Pierroth Jr. and Los Vipers have made their way to
ringside.  Cobarde takes Maniaco down with a shoulderblock, and tosses
him to the outside...  for a PIERROTHBOMB!  OUCH!  Cibernetico takes
down Pierroth with a clothesline, and rolled Maniaco back into the
ring.  As the referee was chewing Pierroth out, Cobarde ran into the
ropes, but Abismo Negro had a chair waiting for him.  A groggy Maniaco
hit the Flying Dropkick, the ref turned around, and made the pin.
Vipers win the fall, and it's tied, 1-1.

Third fall: Texano was tagged in, and went to work on Histeria, with
some punches and chops.  Cobarde came back in, and hit Histeria with a
vertical suplex, as Chicana ran off the ropes, and dropped an elbow on
Histeria.  Nice teamwork there.  Histeria recovered, whipped Texano
into the corner, and ran in with a clothesline.  Whipped him into the
other corner... same result.  Third time...  Texano ran out of the
corner, and both men collided into each other with a double
clothesline!  Both men went to make tags...  Texano tagged in Cobarde,
but Histeria tagged Psicosis!  Down goes Cobarde, down goes Chicana,
and down goes Texano.  Oh, and down goes Pierroth, for good measure.
Psicosis goes up top, and hits the Flying Legdrop onto Cobarde, but
Chicana manages to make the save.  Maniaco takes care of Chicana, and
Psicosis hits a bulldog, but still can't solve Cobarde.  Cobarde ends
up hitting a faul onto Psicosis while the ref's back was turned, and
went for a pin... but Psicosis had his foot on the ropes!  Histeria
ran in, and hit Cobarde with a spinebuster slam, then helped up
Psicosis, who hit a flying senton for the 2-1 win for Los Vipers!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Los Vipers (Psicosis, Histeria and Maniaco) beat
Tradicion (El Cobarde, El Texano and Sangre Chicana) 2 falls to 1:
x Chicana beat Maniaco via a senton in 0:06:58
x Maniaco beat Cobarde via the Flying Dropkick in 0:17:27
x Psicosis beat Cobarde via a flying senton in 0:26:01
Rating: 3/4*

After the match, both teams ended up brawling to the back, despite a
(mostly) clean match from these two teams.  Fans still seemed to enjoy
it.

MAIN EVENT: Abismo Negro vs. Blue Demon Jr. vs. Canek vs. Electro
Shock vs. Octagon vs. Pentagon vs. Perro Aguayo vs. Pierroth Jr. - 8
MAN PINFALLS ONLY BATTLE ROYAL (Winner receives shot at Cibernetico's
Mexican National Heavyweight Title)

All 8 men were in the ring (with Pierroth Jr. and Blue Demon Jr.
earning chants of "culero" by the crowd), and off we went.  Since this
was a pinfalls only Battle Royal, the action took place inside and
outside the ring.  The first portion, since it went 15 minutes, was
cut for TV purposes, but it was still full of action.  Electro Shock
went for a huge upset by setting up Octagon for the Flying Splash...
but missed!  Demon Jr. took down Pierroth with one hell of a punch,
which busted the rudo open!  Pierroth was out of the match for two
minutes after that, opting to get his head bandaged up.  Nasty cut.
Some nice fighting after that, despite the fact that Octagon was going
nuts with superkicks to anyone and anything.  Canek and Electro Shock
were also having a surprisingly good sequence, with lots of counters
and reversals.  Canek hit the Canek Press and went for the pin, but...
Abismo Negro made the save???  Shock wasn't too happy with that, and
decked Negro!  Electro Shock eventually hit the Flying Splash on
Canek... but he kicked out!  Electro Shock didn't know what to do, and
was decked with another Canek Press, then a sleeperhold!  With nobody
to help him, Shock had no choice but to submit.

x Canek defeated E. Shock after a sleeperhold in 0:15:05

However, Canek had no time to rest, because Pierroth Jr. had some
brass knuckles in his hand...  and now Canek was busted open.  One
power bomb later, Canek was out of the match, and Pierroth Jr. was
walking around like he was the cock of the walk.  He just didn't count
on Perro Aguayo jumping him, which is precisely what happened.

x Pierroth Jr. defeated Canek after a power bomb in 0:15:42

An interesting part of the Battle Royal came next, when Pentagon,
Abismo Negro, and Pierroth Jr. went after Blue Demon Jr., with four
rudos all going at it!  Demon Jr. managed to paste Abismo with a
Stunner, but Pentagon and Pierroth wasted no time in beating on Demon
Jr. outside the ring, leaving him in a crumpled heap... and earning
the rudos a bit of a cheer on that action.  However, whenever people
team up in a Battle Royal, it's almost certain that someone will turn
on someone else, and that's what Pentagon did to Abismo.  Still woozy
from that Stunner, Abismo couldn't defend against Pentagon's onslaught
of kicks, and one Asai Moonsault took the Viper out, leaving 5
wrestlers in the ring - two tecnicos, three rudos.

x Pentagon defeated A. Negro after the Asai Moonsault in 0:23:39

Pierroth Jr. and Octagon were having a nice little brawl on the
outside, until Blue Demon Jr. got up and knocked down both men with a
double clothesline, then a Stunner to Octagon (not again!) for good
measure.  A little later on, Demon Jr. went for a top-rope
Frankensteiner on Pierroth, but the rudo countered into a perfect
power bomb for a near fall!  Pierroth started to taunt Demon Jr., much
to the crowd's...  DELIGHT?  All right...  Well, Pierroth taunted a
little too much, because Demon Jr. hit the Stunner out of nowhere, and
made the pin!  Down to four!

x Demon Jr. defeated Pierroth Jr. after the Stunner in 0:30:03

Pentagon and Blue Demon Jr. went at it...  which means that Octagon
and Perro, after a handshake, also went at it.  Some nice back and
forth brawling from these two in such a short span of time, with Perro
eventually missing a senton.  Aguayo rebounded with some chops to
Octagon's chest, and tried to suplex him, but Octagon kicked Perro in
the gut, and hit a flying cross body.  One... two... three!  Perro is
out of the battle royal, and it's Octagon vs. two rudos now.

x Octagon defeated Perro after a flying cross body press in
0:33:15

Octagon went right after Pentagon, and after some punches traded by
both masked men, they had a pique, pulling at each other's masks,
before Octagon...  FAULED PENTAGON!  MY GOD!  Octagon looks shocked,
and I don't think he meant to hit Pentagon below the belt!  It looked
like Pentagon moved before the kick, and Octagon couldn't stop it in
time!  Octagon decided that he'd better not turn his back to Demon
Jr., but it's a little too late for that...  STUNNER!  Down goes
Octagon!  One... two... THREE!  Octagon's out, and to celebrate, Demon
Jr. flips Octagon off, gives him one more Stunner, and tosses him to
the outside!

x Demon Jr. defeated Octagon after the Stunner in 0:34:27

Now, it was down to two rudos.  Pentagon took down Demon Jr. with two
clotheslines, then went for a Frankensteiner...  NO!  TIGER DRIVER!
Demon Jr. picks up Pentagon, and goes for a suplex, but it's blocked.
Another suplex...  blocked.  A third... and Demon Jr. is suplexed out
of the ring!  Pentagon rests for a second, then points at Demon Jr.!
He goes off the ropes...  TOPE SUICIDA!  NO!  NO!  GOD, NO!  Demon Jr.
had a wooden chair ready, and Pentagon damn near went right through
it!  Back inside the ring, Demon Jr. kicks Pentagon in the midsection,
and delivers a Stunner.  This could be a tainted win...  One... two...
THREE!  Blue Demon Jr. has earned himself a title shot against
Cibernetico!

x Demon Jr. defeated Pentagon after the Stunner in 0:38:37

No-Countout-No-DQ-8-Man Battle Royal:
Blue Demon Jr. won an 8-man Battle Royal.
Rating: **

After the match, Demon Jr. climbed up to the top turnbuckle, and
started to flip off the fans, although not like that other guy.  Demon
Jr. made some belt motions, then took a pro-Octagon sign from one of
the members of the crowd in the front row, and ripped it up!  The
rudos pretty dominated this night...

AAA Notes:

- The big rumor going around AAA (and which was reported on in
Ovaciones) is that AAA is seriously considering an 3 to 4 week
American tour... with possibly a stopover in Canada for a show as
well.  No word on why AAA is considering this, or if this may just be
a house show tour only, with TV tapings still in Mexico.
- AAA will be having a TV Taping soon in Central America, as well.
Rumors are that it'll be in either El Salvador, Panama or Costa Rica.
- Ayako Hamada and Chikako Shiratori were relieved after finding out
that they won't be traveling to Japan any more, for the time being...
Although this leaves AAA as the only TNM-MP fed running with a women's
division.
- Royce Gracie?  Cute, Miko.  Really cute. :)  Knew that would work.
Of course AAA loaned out Octagon.  They sent his secondary mask and
costume to Japan for the angle.  Hopefully, we get them back.
- Heavy Dracula was immediately released from his AAA commitments on
Monday.
- Negro Casas either wants to challenge Gran Apache to a boxing fight,
or a Brawl For All.  I don't know what...  and I don't even think I
want to know.
- Blue Demon Jr. will get his title shot in early August against
Cibernetico.
- Aguila has resigned with AAA.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
- Steve Corino continues to impress AAA.  Rey Dragon and Zumbido also
put on a good show tonight, and were well worth the investment.
- The AAA House Show lineup for Saturday was published in Ovaciones
today.  Here's what's going down.

- Pikachu and Tzuki vs. Mini Abismo Negro and Pierrothito

- Venum II, Brazo De Oro and Discovery vs. Abeja Africana, Shiiba and
Avispa

- Rey Dragon and Ludxor vs. Steve Corino and Zumbido

- Magnum Tokyo vs. Nemesis

- El Mosco, Negro Casas and Perro Aguayo vs. Mosco De La Merced, Gran
Apache and El Texano

See you next week.
