AAA House Show (07/17/1999)

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Mini Abismo Negro, Mosco De La Merced and Mini Psicosis beat
Octagoncito, Pikachu and Tzuki 2 falls to 0:
x Mini Psicosis beat Octagoncito via the Splash Mountain in 0:15:16
x Mini Psicosis beat Tzuki via the Flying Legdrop in 0:19:26
Rating: ** 3/4
(Mini Mosco De La Merced no-showed.)

What do you do when a mini no-shows, but you don't have any other
minis to use?  (And Pierrothito is out of town, to begin with.) You
use a big guy, of course.  The fans booed when Mosco came to the ring,
but he wasn't that active in the match - he just tossed the tecnicos
back into the ring each time they went outside.  Rudos take it in two
straight falls by Mini Psic.  There was some tension between Octacito
and Tzuki...

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Venum II, Brazo Cibernetico and Ludxor beat Heavy Dracula, Nemesis and
Shiiba 2 falls to 0:
x Ludxor beat Nemesis via a Frankensteiner in 0:13:57
x Ludxor beat Dracula via a top-rope Frankensteiner in 0:17:40
Rating: * 3/4

Average match, except this time, the tecnicos swept the rudos.
Nothing much to write home about.  After the show, Heavy Dracula had
his AAA contract terminated for undisclosed reasons.  We wish him all
the best.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Abeja Africana, Avispa, Histeria and Steve Corino beat Mr. Niebla,
Mascara Sagrada Jr., Heavy Metal and Negro Casas 2 falls to 1:
x Mr. Niebla beat Corino via the Frankensteiner in 0:14:01
x Corino beat Mr. Niebla via the Doctor Bomb in 0:14:37
x A. Africana beat Sagrada Jr. via the Flying Splash in 0:20:58
Rating: * 1/4

Surprising last-minute addition to the card.  Corino struck right back
at Niebla after being pinned by him.  Both teams were pretty cohesive
tonight.  The rudos eventually took it after a carwreck on the
outside, and Abeja managed to hit Sagrada Jr. with the Flying Splash
for the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Discovery and Latin Lover beat Brad Armstrong and Angel Mortal 2 falls
to 1:
x B. Armstrong beat L. Lover via the Russian Legsweep in 0:04:08
x Discovery beat A. Mortal via a high cross body in 0:16:43
x L. Lover beat B. Armstrong via the Superkick in 0:21:08
Rating: * 1/4

Like the rudos had any chance at all.  Armstrong started off strong
against Lover, but the tecnicos stormed right back, and were pretty
much all over the rudos.  Lover managed to get revenge for his recent
losses to Armstrong by blasting him with a Superkick for the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Brazo De Oro beat Gran Apache 2 falls to 1:
x Apache beat B. Oro via disqualification in 0:00:31
x B. Oro beat Apache via a flying cross body press in 0:01:35
x B. Oro beat Apache via countout in 0:03:45
Rating: * 1/2

One word - WEIRD!  Only half a minute in, Brazo Ciber and Negro Casas
came down to ringside.  Apache ran into the ropes, and Ciber nailed
him with a chair, causing the DQ!  Second fall saw Oro hit a flying
cross body, and when Apache placed his foot on the ropes, Casas
knocked it away for Oro to take the fall!  And then, in the third
fall, Apache ran into the ropes, but Casas pulled down the top rope.
Then, Brazo Ciber creamed Apache with a Flying Splash!  Tropicasas
turned around, and had no choice but to count out Apache, for Oro to
pull off the upset!

There was one other match that was held - Ultimo Dragon vs. Super
Crazzy in the main event.  However, we decided against reporting on
this one in the house show report, and will show highlights of the
match on AAA TV this week.  You'll see why when it's shown.
