falls to 0:
x Azul beat Shiiba via the Power Bomb in 0:16:02
x Azul beat A. Africana via a spinebuster slam in 0:20:30
Rating: ** 1/4

Tonight's dark match got the crowd revved up.  Los Payasos provided
the comedy, and Shiiba and Abeja provided the wrestling.  Turned out
to be a good match, with Coco Azul getting both falls for his team.

Welcome to AAA TV, coming to you this week from Acapulco.

In the back...

Cibernetico: *sigh* ...You dropped the ball last week, Psic.  I know
it, you know it, and all of Los Vipers know it.
Mosco: Come on, Ciber, cut Psic some slack.
Cibernetico: Well, I'd like to, but...  Look, you saw what happened
last week.  You took care of Perro, which was great.  Good job.  But
losing to Demon Jr. and Casas???  What were you on?
Shock: Well...
Cibernetico: Shut up!  *sigh*  Look, I'm a little tense right now, but
I have a reason to be.  In a little while, I'm going to be out there,
sending an old fossil back to the Stone Age, all right?  Now, I don't
need this.  ...Psic, you tried, but you couldn't cut it last week, all
right?  It's just...  Never mind.  Let's see how you do against Demon
Jr. and Casas tonight.
Psic: *sigh* Ciber...  We didn't even know that Casas was in the
building last week.  *looks at Vipers*  We'll take care of those two
this week.  You can count on us!
Cibernetico: All right...  *Vipers leave*  ...You'd better.

MATCH #1: Alda Moreno vs. Miss Janeth - Lightning Match

Well, we managed to sign two ladies, so the stage was set for a
women's match tonight.  Alda dominated the early stages of the fight,
hitting some hair pulls and isolating Janeth with a front facelock.
Out of nowhere, Janeth hit a power bomb, but could only get two.
Janeth hit some chops, and almost got another pin with a flying
clothesline.  Janeth slapped Moreno around, and hit a DDT, but
wouldn't cover Moreno.  She set Moreno up on the top rope, but was
pushed off, and Alda hit a Frankensteiner from the top rope!  Janeth
was in pain, and was rubbing her elbow.  Alda charged Janeth, but the
ruda caught Moreno, and hit her Northern Lights Suplex for the pin!
After the match, Janeth had her elbow packed down with ice.  She'll be
out for a couple of weeks, which means that we can't start a women's
division. :)

[Lightning Match]:
Miss Janeth pinned Alda Moreno with the Northern Lights Suplex in
0:07:24.  Miss Janeth suffered an elbow injury. She will be out until
May 26, 1999.

MATCH #2: Discovery, Cadaver De Ultratomba and Ludxor vs. Avispa,
Nemesis and Charly Manson

This was an odd match - people didn't know who to cheer for.  Nemesis
or Cadaver?  Tough choice.  So, they just remained neutral.  First
fall saw Discovery in control of Avispa, until he kicked out of a
Frankensteiner.  Avispa then hit a power bomb, but Discovery was
tangled up in the ropes.  That set up an easy flying senton, and the
rudos took the first fall.  Second fall saw Cadaver and Nemesis go at
it like mad!  Both wrestlers took it onto the outside, brawling
through the crowd, some empty stands, the aisleway...  To make a long
story short, it became a regular tag match.  While this went on,
Ludxor went off the ropes, and jumped onto Manson with a MOONSAULT
PLANCHA!!!  What a move!  Ludxor then had no problems pinning Manson
with a Frankensteiner, to tie things up.  As soon as the bell rang for
the third fall, Ludxor had Manson in position for a suplex, but Avispa
dropkicked Ludxor from behind!  Manson hit a nice flying somersault
splash, then his Flying Legdrop for the three-count!  LOS RUDOS!!!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Nemesis, Avispa and Charly Manson beat Discovery, Ludxor and Cadaver
De Ultratomba 2 falls to 1:
x Avispa beat Discovery via a flying senton in 0:10:09
x Ludxor beat C. Manson via a Frankensteiner in 0:21:46
x C. Manson beat Ludxor via the Flying Legdrop in 0:23:28

MATCH #3: Pantera vs. Heavy Dracula - Lightning Match

Not exactly a good match.  Both wrestlers worked with some holds early
on, until Pantera broke the monotony with a moonsault bodyblock.
Dracula then started to brawl with Pantera on the outside - which
continued for most of the match.  At the 7 minute mark, Dracula
whipped Pantera into the ropes, but the tecnico countered with a rana
for a two count.  Near the end, Dracula went for a TOMBSTONE, but
Pantera managed to get out of it!  Pantera and Dracula then hit each
other with a double clothesline, and that, basically, was it.  10
minute time limit draw.

[Lightning Match]:
Pantera and Heavy Dracula battled to a draw in 0:10:00.
Rating: -3/4*

After the match, both wrestlers agreed to have a 2/3 Fall match this
Saturday at our weekly house show, to try settle this result.

MATCH #4: Blue Demon Jr., Negro Casas and La Parka Jr. vs. Psicosis,
Histeria and Mosco De La Merced (Los Vipers)

Oh, boy.  Time for three Viper matches in a row.  This isn't going to
be pretty.  First fall was plain wild, with a bunch of dives attempted
by both sides.  One of the best spots was on the outside near the end
of the fall, when Psic jumped on Casas and Demon Jr. with a flying
senton from the top rope onto the outside!  Back inside, Psic hit a
low blow, a snap suplex, and a Flying Legdrop on Demon Jr. to end it.
Second fall was also interesting.  Los Vipers were getting outclassed,
but they decided to fight back with chairs.  Histeria brought in a
chair to face La Parka Jr.. Not a smart move.  Parka Jr. knocked the
chair out of Histeria's hands, then hit a power bomb ONTO the chair!
The pin was a mere formality.  Third fall was... odd.  Histeria and
Blue Demon Jr. both tried abdominal stretches... and both countered
with elbowsmashes.  Demon Jr. and Casas backdropped Histeria, and
signaled for the finish.  However, Histeria was... putting another
boot on?  When Demon Jr. turned around, he was DRILLED with a
superkick by Histeria, who got the pin!  After the match, Histeria
took the boot off...  Well, that's a surprise.  It was a metal boot.
Los Vipers win, but it was a tainted one.  Psic, Mosco and Histeria
looked slightly relieved after the match, for obvious reasons.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Los Vipers (Mosco De La Merced, Psicosis and Histeria) beat Blue Demon
Jr., La Parka Jr. and Negro Casas 2 falls to 1:
x Psicosis beat Demon Jr. via the Flying Legdrop in 0:16:33
x Parka Jr. beat Histeria via a power bomb in 0:28:01
x Histeria beat Demon Jr. via pinfall in 0:29:59

MATCH #5: Aguila vs. Abismo Negro

At the House Show last Saturday, Abismo drilled Aguila with a
Tombstone, KO'ing the youngster.  Tonight, he'd be looking to get
even.

Spotfest from Aguila right from the start.  First off, a springboard
dropkick.  Then, an Asai moonsault bodyblock for two, and finally, a
standing moonsault for two.  Great sequence.  Aguila tried a moonsault
bodyblock, but Abismo sent him crashing to the mat with a powerslam.
A little later on, Aguila went for another Asai moonsault bodyblock,
but Abismo made him pay for it with a running powerslam.  Abismo hit
two clotheslines, then a jack-knife power bomb which almost ended it,
but Aguila still had some juice left.  After a gutwrench suplex,
Aguila went for a top-rope Frankensteiner, but Abismo countered with a
power bomb, and ALMOST ended it again!  Aguila then opened up on
Abismo with a series of kicks, ending with a wicked spin kick to
Abismo's chin.  Out runs the only Viper that's not in a match tonight,
Electro Shock.  Shock distracted the referee and Aguila, but Aguila
hit Shock with a spin kick!  While the referee checked on Shock (?),
Aguila turned around...

TOMBSTONE!!!

ABISMO HIT THE TOMBSTONE!!!  AGUILA BOUNCED OFF THE CANVAS!  He isn't
moving!  Abismo goes for the pin...

ONE...

TWO...

THREE!!!

Abismo Negro pinned Aguila with his special move in 0:08:08.
Rating: * 1/4

Oh, come on!  Abismo Negro has hit Aguila with the Tombstone TWICE in
less than a week!  He's definitely going to get hit with some sort of
punishment for this...  Meanwhile, Aguila was carefully taken out of
the ring and put in an ambulance.  It looks like he's going to be
fine, but how much more of this can the youngster take?

MAIN EVENT: Canek (c) vs. Cibernetico (Los Vipers) - UWA Heavyweight
Title Match, No Countouts, No DQ's, all wrestlers are banned from
ringside.

(Maybe I should post the TNM logfile... Nah, I'm not that lazy...
today. :) )

Both guys came into this one prepared.  Nobody thought that it would
be over tonight.  Hell, nobody thought that this war between the
veterans and the young blood would end tonight.  This was just another
chapter in a tense struggle.

Canek blocked Cibernetico's early punches, and hit some blows of his
own, culminating in a figure-four leglock.  Ciber escaped, and hit a
LOW BLOW!!!  But it's No DQ, so that's fair!  Canek quickly recovered,
and hit a double-axhandle blow to the back of Ciber.  Canek went for a
back heel kick, but Ciber hit another low blow!  After some punches,
Ciber missed a clothesline... then an elbowsmash... then got rocked
with a belly-to-belly!  One, two, no!  Both wrestlers brawled to the
outside, and Ciber whipped Canek into the ringsteps, back first!
Ciber then set Canek up, and hit a vertical suplex onto the concrete!
Ciber signaled that this one was over, and decided that he couldn't
bother with a CiberBomb.  Instead, Ciber went for a spinebuster slam,
but Canek got out of it and hit a swinging neckbreaker!

One...

Two...

NO!  Canek tossed Cibernetico out of the ring, and the Viper went
right into the guardrail!  Canek goes off the ropes... FLYING CROSS
BODY PRESS!  Both men were down!  Canek got up first, but Ciber hit
him with a low blow!  Ciber looked around ringside, and got a chair.
Both men entered the ring, and Cibernetico swung at Canek with the
chair, but he ducked!  Canek dropkicked the chair right into
Cibernetico's face!  Ciber's staggering around ringside...  Canek
raises his hand... runs...

CANEK PRESS!!!

ONE...

TWO...

THREE!!!

No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Canek pinned Cibernetico with the Canek Press in 0:09:53.
Rating: -** 1/2
(Canek retained the UWA Heavyweight Title.)

What a match!  As soon as the bell rang, Los Vipers ran out, but
Cibernetico yelled at them to stop, and to let Canek leave.  Huh???
Canek left the ring, and Los Vipers came into the ring to help
Cibernetico up.  However, as soon as Psic went to talk to Ciber, he
put Psic in position for the CIBERBOMB!!!  WHAT THE HELL???  Los
Vipers managed to calm down Ciber... then they had to calm down Psic.

Both Vipers looked at each other for a moment... then shook hands.
Los Vipers all crotch-chopped the crowd to end the night.

Looks like Los Vipers are on a little bit of rocky ground at the
moment...  Well, at least two of them are.  What will happen next
week?  Only the booker knows, and he ain't telling. :)
