AAA TV Show (05/05/1999)

[Dark Match - Lightning Match]:
Shiiba and Chiva Rayada #1 battled to a draw in 0:10:00.
Rating: * 1/2

An entertaining match to get the crowd warmed up.  Chiva #1 and Shiiba
both hit some nice moves, but neither went for too many pins, and that
will cost you in a Lightning Match.  Both wrestlers had to settle for
a draw.

Welcome to Zapopan for another great AAA TV Show!  Perro Aguayo and
Blue Demon Jr. will be in action!  The minis are in the house!
Electro Shock defends against Heavy Metal in a Mexican National
Middleweight Title match!  And...  Hang on.  Something's going on in
the back...

(Psicosis is on the phone in the back.)

"Hey, Ciber.  How's the training going for the match next week?
That's good.  No, don't worry about Canek.  He's not here, anyways.
Yes, I checked.  The old piece of crap's probably attempting to train,
or something.  What?  Um...  Like you said, Shock's taking on Metal
tonight for the title...  Dunno why you wanted that...  Hey, I was
just asking, alright?  Sheesh...  Yeah, we managed to get that main
event signed.  Yeah, the tag match.  I... what?  Of course he's here -
he arrived a little while ago.  You want me to... what?  Ah... I see!
Good plan.  I'll talk to Mosco and Histeria about it.  Yeah, Shock
probably won't be going to take on that fake in TJCW.  Nah, the loser
got injured and he's gonna be out for a few weeks.  No big loss.
Yeah, don't sweat it, Ciber.  I got the plans for tonight.  Yeah,
everything will be taken care of.  They can't nail us with any
surprises.  *laughter*  Yeah, that's right.  See ya after, Ciber.
Don't worry about it.  It'll be fine.  All right.  Gotta go.  Bye."

As you just heard, Cibernetico and Canek are NOT in the building this
week, as they are getting ready for their big match next week, and you
can be sure to catch that one on TV.

MATCH #1: La Parkita and Peso vs. Mini Psicosis and Mini Abismo Negro
(Los Mini Vipers)

Looked to be a good match...  but right off the bat, it didn't look so
good.

While Mini Psic and Mini Abismo taunted the crowd, Peso decided to
attack before the bell, but Mini Psic had other ideas, and countered
Peso's flying cross body press with a powerslam.  One, two, three.
Humiliating fall, and one of the quickest falls ever in lucha history.
Rudos lead 1-0.  La Parkita wasn't too impressed with Peso's... er...
performance.

Second fall started off with Mini Psic hitting Peso with some karate
chops, who then tagged La Parkita in.  La Parkita almost put Mini Psic
away with an inside cradle for a two count.  La Parkita managed to get
Mini Psic up and hit a spinning backbreaker, but when La Parkita
tagged Peso back in, Mini Abismo ran in and clotheslined La Parkita
over the top rope!  Mini Psic hit a flying senton, which only got two,
but after a Hotshot and a DOUBLE power bomb (!), Mini Abismo easily
hit the German Suplex for the rudos to take the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Los Mini Vipers (Mini Abismo Negro and Mini Psicosis) beat La Parkita
and Peso 2 falls to 0:
x Mini Psicosis beat Peso via a powerslam in 0:00:03
x Mini Abismo beat Peso via the German Suplex in 0:05:18
Rating: * 3/4

Peso and La Parkita argued a bit after the match, but cooler heads
prevailed, and they both shook hands before going to the back.

Backstage again...

Histeria: Is it time yet?
Mosco: It will be in a second...

(We see that both Vipers are wielding baseball bats, and Mosco has
brass knuckles on.)

Mosco: Now, remember what Ciber told us.  We run in, attack until we
see help arrive, then run off.  Got it?
Histeria: What if he manages to beat us?
Mosco: ...How can he, you idiot?  Electro's standing a few feet away
with a bat in case we need help.  Besides, that's why it's called a
SNEAK attack.
Histeria: Yeah...  But I'm just saying...
Mosco: *sigh*  Wait a sec...  Here he comes.  Ready?
Histeria: *chuckles* Ready.
Mosco: Now!

(Both Vipers run off.)

MATCH #2: Nino De La Calle, Venum II and Ludxor vs. Nemesis, Cadaver
De Ultratomba and Abeja Africana

Brilliant.  Cadaver and Nemesis have had some communication problems
over the past two weeks, and have to team AGAIN.  To further
complicate manners, Nino De La Calle... never showed up at the arena.
:P  No reason, just didn't show.  Odd...  Anyways, La Parka Jr.
volunteered to take his place for the tecnicos - should be a good one.

First fall actually saw Cadaver and Nemesis make an effort to get
along, despite some obvious friction.  Not much happened here, with
the rudos dominating the early stages.  Cadaver, who looked pretty
good, reversed a Venum II jack-knife power bomb into a small package
to take it for the rudos.

Second fall was a little more interesting.  Cadaver started things off
by hitting a fantastic tope onto Venum II on the outside, while the
rudos stomped away on the tecnico.  Ludxor was then tagged in after
some near-falls by the rudos, and just went nuts, whipping all three
rudos into the guardrail in succession, then hitting double-axhandle
chops on all three!  La Parka Jr. then tossed Cadaver into the
ringsteps, but Nemesis got in the way and both guys hit hard!
Meanwhile, Ludxor placed Abeja Africana on the top rope, and hit his
patented Top Rope Headscissors for the pinfall, to force a third fall!

Third fall?  Notable for only one thing.  Cadaver and Nemesis started
arguing right away on the outside after both of them went right into
the ringsteps.  Arguing led to shoving, and shoving led to Nemesis
flipping off Cadaver and walking to the back.  Cadaver then just
turned his nose up and turned around.

Big mistake.

Nemesis came charging right back with a chair and drilled Cadaver over
the head with it!  Nemesis then drove the chair right into Cadaver's
groin!  What the hell?  Nemesis then put Cadaver in position for a
TOMBSTONE!!!  No...  He wouldn't...  VENUM II and LA PARKA JR. make
the save!  While this was going on, Ludxor again hit the Top Rope
Headscissors on Abeja Africana for the pin!  TECNICOS WIN!!!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Ludxor, Venum II and La Parka Jr. beat Cadaver De Ultratomba, Nemesis
and Abeja Africana 2 falls to 1:
x Cadaver beat Venum II via a small package in 0:06:07
x Ludxor beat A. Africana via the Top Rope Headscissors in 0:18:21
x Ludxor beat A. Africana via the Top Rope Headscissors in 0:21:24
Rating: * 1/2
(Nino De La Calle no-showed.)

After officials came out and cleared the whole mess between Cadaver
and Nemesis, the tecnicos helped Cadaver to the back.  Nemesis had to
be restrained by officials as Cadaver left.

Whatever kind of "partnership" these guys had is gone.  For some
reason, Nemesis just couldn't take it.  Teams do make mistakes
sometimes, but that's no reason to do what Nemesis just did.  Still...
these things happen.  I just didn't expect Nemesis to act so
violently...  So out of control.  Shame...

Wait a sec... what's going on in the back now?

(Mosco and Histeria are standing over Perro Aguayo's beaten body!)

Mosco: Perfect.  Now, Blue Demon Jr. has to stand alone against the
Vipers. (laughter)  Perro Aguayo Jr. left, Perro Aguayo's out of
commission...  We've done what Ciber asked us to do.
Histeria: Um... Mosco...
Mosco: In a sec, Histeria.  Ha!  What do you think now, asshole?
(Stomps on Aguayo)  What do you think now, sh*thead?  You're gone,
your son's gone, and Canek is all alone against Cibernetico!  Just the
way we wanted it!
Histeria: Mosco!
Mosco: Just a sec, Histeria.  You might as well call it quits, Aguayo,
because you're no match for...

Well, he didn't get to finish the sentence.  Blue Demon Jr. ran out
and KO'ed both Vipers with a baseball bat of his own, and ran off with
Aguayo!  Will Aguayo be in shape to wrestle tonight?

MATCH #3: Electro Shock (c) vs. Heavy Metal - Mexican National
Middleweight Title Match, 15 Minute Time Limit

Speaking of Vipers, Electro Shock and Heavy Metal were set to lock it
up for the Mexican National Middleweight Title.  Poor Shock.

Electro got the worst of it right away.  Heavy Metal opened up with
some chops, and then tossed Shock outside the ring, following that up
with a flying cross body onto the outside!  Metal then proceeded to
wear down Shock with a spinebuster slam and a wicked spinning
backbreaker.  Outside the ring, the carnage continued, as Shock went
backfirst into the guardrail...  then took a handspring elbow which
knocked Shock onto the floor!  Electro Shock tried to make a comeback.
He surprised Metal with a lariat, then after some punches to the
midsection, went for a jack-knife power bomb...  but Metal powered
out!  After a back suplex, Shock tried it again, but couldn't keep
Metal down.  Metal came roaring right back, and after a flying
dropkick, it ALMOST looked like we would have a new champion...  but
Shock kicked out at the last second!    Metal continued his assault,
connecting with spinning headscissors and then tossing Shock out of
the ring following an armdrag takedown.  Heavy Metal then signaled for
a dive, and the fans screamed "NO!" but he decided to anyways, and the
somersault plancha...  MISSED!  Both men were down!  Back inside,
Shock attempted to end it following an enzuilariato, but let his guard
down for a split second, and Metal hit a crucifix!  One...  two...
NO!  Almost!  Heavy Metal slammed Shock down onto the mat with a huge
bodyslam, and signaled for the Casita!  Histeria ran down and tried to
interfere, but Metal drilled him with a clothesline!  Metal turned
around...  jack-knife power bomb!  One...  two...  THREE!!!  Electro
Shock retains!

Electro Shock pinned Heavy Metal after a jack-knife power bomb in
0:14:10.
Rating: **
(Electro Shock retained the Mexican National Middleweight Title.)

Talk about an assist from Histeria!  He managed to distract Metal long
enough for Shock to register the win.  Another victory for Los Vipers.

MATCH #4: Aguila, Octagon and Discovery vs. Pentagon, Angel Mortal and
Mosco De La Merced

Aguila, the Mexican Teen Sensation, was making his AAA debut in this
match.  Look at the teams:  Octagon on one side, Pentagon on the
other.  Aguila on one side, Mosco on the other.  Looked like it would
be a great match.

Pentagon wasted no time, blocking Discovery's kicks and tossing him
onto the outside right away, hitting an ASAI MOONSAULT!  Great stuff!
Pentagon then started to choke Discovery, but Octagon ran over to make
the save!  Pentagon and Octagon going at it!  Octagon clotheslines
Pentagon, and turns his attention to Angel Mortal, nailing him with a
dropkick.  Mortal rolls in, and is met by a small package by
Discovery, which only got two.  Mortal fired back, and managed to hit
his Power Bomb, but Octagon broke up the pin!  Discovery, weakened,
went for a flying cross body press, but Mortal rolled through...  And
got the pin!!!  Rudos lead!

Second fall saw Octagon tagged in right away, as he felt a double
savate kick from Mortal and Pentagon.  Pentagon started stomping away
on Octagon, until the referee made him leave.  After all, Mortal was
the legal man.  This gave Octagon enough time to tag AGUILA in!
Aguila was on fire!  Spin kick to Pentagon, spin kick to Merced, and
clothesline to Mortal!  Mortal went to the outside, and Aguila ran off
the ropes... A RUNNING OVER THE POST SOMERSAULT PLANCHA!!!  What a
move!  Mosco replaced Mortal in the ring, and fared a little better.
He connected right away with a power bomb onto Aguila for two, then
locked Aguila into an abdominal stretch, but Aguila worked his way
out, then after stunning Mosco with some kicks, hit a moonsault for a
two count!  Octagon comes in, and the tecnicos hit Mosco with a double
elbowsmash!  Octagon hit Mosco with a faceslam, then Aguila connected
with a moonsault bodyblock!  Needless to say, Mosco was out like a
light.  Tecnicos take the second fall.

Third fall saw a very weak Mosco attempt a somersault plancha, but
missing Aguila completely.  Angel Mortal hit the ring, taking Mosco's
place, and he just went nuts on Aguila.  Mortal hit a rapid-fire
series of punches and kicks while a brawl erupted on the outside, and
when nobody was looking, hit his Power Bomb for the victory!  The
rudos take it!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Pentagon, Mosco De La Merced and Angel Mortal beat Aguila, Discovery
and Octagon 2 falls to 1:
x A. Mortal beat Discovery via a rollover in 0:05:15
x Aguila beat Merced via a moonsault bodyblock in 0:10:41
x A. Mortal beat Aguila via the Power Bomb in 0:14:52
Rating: 3/4*

Afterwards... well, guess.  Octagon caught up with Pentagon, and the
two brawled to the back, ripping at each other's masks along the way.
Meanwhile, Discovery was helped to the back with what appeared to be a
neck injury, but we hear that he's fine, and won't miss any action.

MAIN EVENT: Blue Demon Jr. and Perro Aguayo vs. Psicosis and Abismo
Negro (Los Vipers) - ONE FALL

Los Vipers came out first, getting good heel heat.  Blue Demon Jr.
then came out with the mic:

"Well, thanks to you guys, it seems that I don't have a partner for
tonight!  However, someone arrived just a few minutes ago, and
immediately offered to be Perro's replacement!  Guess who it is!"

Psic and Abismo whispered to each other, and both fell down to the
mat, laughing.  When they got up...  shock.  Total shock.

Blue Demon Jr.'s replacement for Perro is...

NEGRO CASAS!!!  HIS DEBUT IN AAA!!!

Los Vipers were shocked, and promptly got hit with a double
clothesline.  Negro and Demon Jr. worked great early on, hitting Los
Vipers with a series of dropkicks, until they went to regroup on the
outside.  As soon as Psic came back in, Casas rolled him up and got a
near fall.  Demon Jr. then pounded away on Abismo, and hit spinning
headscissors, followed by a nice vertical suplex.  Demon Jr. then went
for a Frankensteiner, but Abismo reversed it with a tiger driver for a
near fall!  Demon then recovered and locked on an abdominal stretch
for over 30 seconds, but Abismo managed to break the hold.  Los Vipers
did manage a brief comeback, after Psic hit a low blow on Demon Jr.,
but when Psic tried to hit the Flying Legdrop, Demon Jr. moved!  Demon
Jr. tagged Casas in, and all hell broke loose!  Mosco ran to the
ring... and got knocked down!  After a double clothesline by Los
Vipers which knocked Casas down, Psic went for the Flying Legdrop
again, but Demon Jr. shook the ropes, and Psic crotched himself on the
turnbuckle!  Casas then went at it with Psic, and after a surprise
bulldog, Psicosis went for the pin... but Casas put his foot on the
ropes!  Electro Shock ran to the ring with a chair, but Demon Jr.
dropkicked it right into Shock's face!  Psicosis started to choke
Casas with his boot, but Demon Jr. broke that up with a spin kick.
Psicosis clotheslined Demon Jr., and hit a senton onto Casas, but
decided not to go for the pin! Psic got up, signaled for the finish,
and was 100% accurate.

CASITA!!!

One...

Two...

THREE!!!

Blue Demon Jr. and Negro Casas defeated Los Vipers (Psicosis and
Abismo Negro) when N. Casas pinned Psicosis with the Casita in
0:15:05.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Perro Aguayo no-showed.)

Casas and Demon Jr. made a hasty retreat, while Los Vipers just stood
in the ring, shocked.  They took their opponents a little too lightly,
and paid for it.

And for some reason, Psicosis looked pretty nervous...

Next week: Cibernetico vs. Canek!  UWA Heavyweight Title is on the
line!  Los Vipers will be banned from ringside!  There will be a
winner!
