It's sad when your best match ends up being the one NOT taped.  The
Chivas Rayadas had an easy time with Shiiba and Abeja Africana, and
Chiva Rayada #2 had an excellent night, scoring both pinfalls.

MATCH #1: Nemesis, Cadaver De Ultratomba and Charly Manson (rudos) vs.
Discovery, Ludxor and Venum II (tecnicos)

Ludxor's coming off a hot night at Saturday's house show.  Nemesis and
Cadaver are coming off an altercation which happened at last week's TV
show.  This one could go either way.

Cadaver and Nemesis exchanged some words before the first fall began.
Pretty much all rudos, as Manson and Nemesis used their boots to choke
poor Discovery.  After Nemesis was threatened with a DQ due to a
blatant choke, he easily hit his Flying Dropkick to take the first
fall.  The second fall mainly saw Ludxor and Manson in the ring, and
Ludxor continued to shine, countering almost all of Manson's moves and
keeping the rudo locked in various submission holds.  Manson tagged
Cadaver in, who tasted two dropkicks by Ludxor before playing chicken
and tagging in Nemesis.  Cadaver and Nemesis exchanged some words,
then Venum II, who was the legal man, hit Nemesis with his Moonsault
Bodyblock!  Cadaver made the save, but accidentally nailed Nemesis
with an elbowdrop!  Venum II easily took down Nemesis with a slingshot
for the second fall.  Third fall saw Venum II fouled on the outside by
Manson, who stomped away until Ludxor made the save.  With some
brawling going on outside the ring, Nemesis missed a match-ending
superkick, and Discovery hit a slingshot bodyblock!  Cadaver tried to
make the save again, but was a split second too late!  The tecnicos
win!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Discovery, Ludxor and Venum II beat Nemesis, Cadaver De Ultratomba and
Charly Manson 2 falls to 1:
x Nemesis beat Discovery via the Flying Dropkick in 0:04:56
x Venum II beat Nemesis via a slingshot in 0:11:10
x Discovery beat Nemesis via a slingshot bodyblock in 0:14:57

After the match, Nemesis and Cadaver continued to argue, with Manson
trying to calm them down.  Finally, Nemesis blew Cadaver off and
stormed to the back.

Cutting to the back, we saw Pentagon go to the tumbler where tonight's
Wildcard Lightning Match pairing would be drawn.  Pentagon took the
two balls selected, and replaced them with two balls of his own.  He
then scurried off before a member of the Commission came into the
room.  What is Pentagon doing?

MATCH #2: WILDCARD LIGHTNING MATCH!

Well, as expected, Pentagon came out, looking quite cocky, and wearing
a t-shirt with an octagon crossed out with an X on it.  He grabbed the
mic:

"Now, I know that all my fans (boos) want to see me take on some real
competition, and that's what they're going to get!  In fact, I'm *SO*
confident that I'll win this one, that if I happen to lose, I'll give
the winner... 5000 AMERICAN DOLLARS! (small pop)  So, let's see my
very difficult challenger!"

As soon as the music played, the audience groaned.  They groaned
because this wasn't going to be much of a match.

Pentagon vs. LA PARKITA.  Yes, La Parkita.

As soon as Parkita came into the ring, Pentagon was laughing his ass
off.  The referee was about to ring the bell, but Pentagon stopped him
and said to Parkita, "Show me what you've got!"  Parkita obliged,
connecting with a low blow!  Pentagon staggered back to his corner, a
little winded.  The rudo then charged little Parkita, who bailed to
the outside.

While Pentagon awaited his opponent, he saw a fan in the audience with
a "Pentagon Rules!" t-shirt on, as well as a Pentagon mask.  Pentagon
walked out of the ring, and went to shake hands with the fan, and
share a couple of words together.  Pentagon raised the fan's hand...
and got LOW BLOWED!!!  The fan takes off his mask...  It's OCTAGON!!!
Octagon takes his chair and cracks it over Pentagon's back twice, then
rolls him into the ring!

The bell rang, and Pentagon slowly got up to his feet... before La
Parkita rolled him up!  One... two... THREE!!!

[Wildcard Lightning Match]:
La Parkita pinned Pentagon with an inside cradle in 0:00:10.
Rating: *

The fans broke into hysterics!  Pentagon, a hated rudo, was just
pinned by a mini!  Pentagon broke into tears and started to throw a
temper tantrum, while La Parkita collected his $5,000 check.  Octagon
made his way out of the arena at this point, but not before taking his
Pentagon mask and ripping it into two, along with the shirt!

Pentagon needed to be helped back to the locker room, and was informed
that it was Octagon that attacked Pentagon.  Upon hearing this,
Pentagon was outraged, and raced towards the parking lot - but Octagon
had just left!  Pentagon just simply stood there, steaming.

These guys are one step closer to a mask vs. mask match, no question.
It should only be a matter of time before Pentagon strikes back,
however.

MATCH #3: Latin Lover, Heavy Metal, and Mascara Sagrada Jr. (tecnicos)
vs. Heavy Dracula, Pentagon and Sangre Chicana (rudos)

Pentagon had no chance to rest.  Still getting laughed at by the fans,
Pentagon got on the mic and launched a stream of profanity and slurs
at them, which got the fans to shut up.  His next victim?  Mascara
Sagrada Jr..

Pentagon and Sagrada Jr. were in for the whole first fall.  Pentagon
went nuts, keeping Sagrada Jr. grounded with many powerful kicks and
maneuvers, and eventually putting him away with not one, not two, but
three power bombs!  Afterwards, Sagrada Jr. had to be stretchered out,
and Pentagon gave the fans the old Italian salute, and walked out.
Looks like we have a tag match now.

The second fall was full of brawling.  Heavy Dracula and Heavy Metal
paired off on more than one occasion, and had a very physical contest.
Dracula went for a clothesline, but Metal caught Dracula, and
crucifixed him for the three count!  The third fall, on the other
hand, wasn't as exciting - everyone seemed tired.  After a series of
suplexes, Heavy Dracula finally put this match away with a legdrop, to
give the rudos the win.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Sangre Chicana, Pentagon and Heavy Dracula beat
Latin Lover, Heavy Metal and Mascara Sagrada Jr. 2 falls to 1:
x Pentagon beat Sagrada Jr. via a power bomb in 0:05:17
x H. Metal beat Dracula via a crucifix in 0:17:43
x Dracula beat H. Metal via the Legdrop in 0:19:44
Rating: DUD

Afterwards, Dracula ran off the ropes, and hit Metal with another
Legdrop!  Latin Lover ran in to make the save, but was cut off by
Chicana!  Dracula spat on Metal before leaving.  The tecnicos were in
hot pursuit.

MATCH #4: Espectro (c) vs. Coco Azul vs. La Parka Jr. vs. Electro
Shock for the Mexican National Middleweight Title

Well, this one certainly wasn't that bad.

Azul and Espectro started off, and were in for much of the first fall.
Lots of spinning leg lariats and power bomb variations were used in a
short span.  Out of nowhere, Azul went for the Power Bomb, but
Espectro countered with a backdrop and dropkicked Azul.  The second
time Azul attempted the Power Bomb?  Espectro blocked it.  On the
outside, both luchadors slammed each other into the ringsteps, with
Azul taking the worst of it.  Back inside the ring, Espectro tried to
whip Azul into the ropes, but Azul reversed it, caught Espectro with a
shoulderblock, then hit the Power Bomb!  ONE...

TWO...

THREE!  We will have a new champion!

Second fall was full of close falls.  Parka Jr., Azul and Shock were
thrown out of the ring many times; however, none of the luchadors were
willing to risk a dive onto the outside until the 18th minute, when
Azul tossed Shock out of the ring, and went for a tope, but missed!
Azul, after hitting Parka Jr. with the Power Bomb, went to tope Shock
again, but hit his head on the concrete floor!  Azul crawled in, and
was met by a Asai Moonsault Bodyblock, courtesy of La Parka Jr.!  One
three count later, there were only two left standing - Electro Shock
and La Parka Jr..

The final fall saw Parka Jr. power out of a Shock power bomb right off
the bat, and get a near fall with a flying cross body press.  After
tossing Shock out of the ring, Parka Jr. rammed him into the ringpost,
the ringsteps, and the apron!  Shock even went into a small pile of
chairs!  La Parka Jr. tossed Shock back into the ring, and went for
the pin, but Psicosis ran down and put Shock's foot on the rope!
While the referee ejected Psicosis from ringside, Shock knocked down
Parka Jr. with brass knuckles!  Electro Shock went up top, and
connected with the Flying Splash!

ONE...

TWO...

THREE!  NEW CHAMPION!

Four Corners Match:
Electro Shock defeated Espectro, La Parka Jr. and Coco Azul:
x Azul beat Espectro via the Power Bomb in 0:08:38
x Parka Jr. beat Azul via the Asai Moonsault Bodyblock in 0:27:33
x E. Shock beat Parka Jr. via the Flying Splash in 0:33:18
Rating: *
(Electro Shock won the Mexican National Middleweight Title.)

After the match, Los Vipers ran down to congratulate their teammate.
Psicosis held up Shock's hand and said, "Watch out, TJCW!  Watch out,
"Psicosis"!  Electro Shock is going to take you down, and nothing can
stand in his way!  Just watch it, loser!"

Psic's never been one for post-match interviews, I suppose. :)  Psic,
Mosco De La Merced and Cibernetico stayed in the ring, because it was
time for the main event!

MAIN EVENT: Perro Aguayo, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Canek vs. Los Vipers
(Cibernetico, Psicosis and Mosco De La Merced) (If Canek scores the
pin, he receives a shot at the AAA Champion of Champions Title; if
Cibernetico scores the win, he receives a shot at the UWA Heavyweight
Title)

Well, this one was wild.  Ciber and Aguayo started off, and both
started chopping at each other like mad.  That solved nothing, so
Mosco and Aguayo Jr. came in to continue the match.  Mosco managed to
stun Aguayo Jr. with an eye poke, and tagged Psicosis in.  The two
Vipers nailed Aguayo Jr. with a double elbowsmash, a double kick to
the midsection, and a double fist to the midsection, in that order!
Psicosis hit Aguayo Jr. with a senton, but couldn't keep him down.
Cibernetico decided to come in and attempt a spinebuster slam, but
Aguayo rolled him up!  He's not the legal man!

ONE...

TWO...

NO!  Cibernetico kicked out, and Psicosis went back to work on Aguayo
Jr.  After some brutal stomps, Psicosis hit a tiger driver, but Canek
made the save at the last second!  Cibernetico and Psicosis whipped
Aguayo Jr. into the ropes, but he ducked a double clothesline attempt,
and hit one of his own!  All three men are down!  On the outside,
Mosco becomes the first man to be busted open when Aguayo slams his
head into the ringpost!  Aguayo Jr. crawls over... and tags CANEK!!!
Psicosis gets up... clothesline by Canek!  And another big clothesline
by Canek!  Canek clotheslines Psicosis out of the ring, and hits a
flying cross body onto the outside!  Cibernetico comes from behind,
and slams a stop sign onto Canek's head, busting him open!
Cibernetico tries to rip Canek's mask off, but the referee stops him!
Psicosis hits Aguayo Jr. with the stop sign, busting him open, while
Aguayo grabs a ladder at ringside and spears Mosco with it!  This one
is out of control!  Canek's tossed back into the ring, and Cibernetico
follows him.  Ciber and Psic toss Canek into the ropes twice, and hit
two double backdrops onto the UWA Heavyweight Champ!  Cibernetico goes
off the ropes, misses a clothesline, and gets caught by Canek!  CANEK
PRESS!

ONE...

TWO...

PSICOSIS MADE THE SAVE!  Canek gets up, takes the stop sign, and
drills Psicosis with it!  They go to brawl on the outside!  Perro
Aguayo Jr. runs in, and gets a near fall with a flying forearm!  On
the outside, we have mask-ripping, chairshots, and mayhem galore!
Perro Jr. runs into the ropes, but Cibernetico catches him with a kick
to the midsection... CIBERBOMB!!!

ONE...

TWO...

Canek goes for the save...

THREE!!!

Los Vipers (Mosco De La Merced, Psicosis and Cibernetico) defeated
Perro Aguayo, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Canek when Cibernetico pinned Perro
Jr. with the CiberBomb in 0:09:40.
Rating: -* 3/4

Los Vipers win it!  Cibernetico has earned himself a UWA Heavyweight
Title shot against Canek!  What a win!  Canek and Perro help Perro Jr.
back to the locker room, while Los Vipers celebrate in the ring.
Cibernetico starts to dance around the ring, mimicking Canek and
calling him "a dried-up, smelly, cruddy, geriatric good-for-nothing
piece of sh*t"...  but Canek ran out again!  Canek went right after
Cibernetico, but Psic and Mosco held him back, while Cibernetico
taunted Canek, punching him in the face several times until Perro
Aguayo ran out with a chair, and chased the rudos away!  Perro helped
Canek recover, then both tecnicos made their way back to the locker
room.

Looks like Los Vipers are on top of the world now... but all it could
take is one loss to send them crashing down to Earth.
