Boring match.  They tried, and the crowd did manage to get into it at
certain points, but workrate wise, it was bad.  Can't say much more
than that.

MATCH #1: Magnum Tokyo and Ricky Marvin (AAA TV Debut) vs. Jerry
Estrada and Mercurio (AAA TV Debut) - ONE FALL

Welcome to AAA TV, coming from Oaxaca, Mexico...  And nobody probably
heard that, as soccer plays havoc with our schedule once again, and we
go right into our first match.  This match lets us see the continuing
rivalry between Tradicion and the young guys in Tokyo/Estrada, and a
pair of TV debuts in Ricky Marvin, who did come out to Ricky Martin's
hit "Livin' La Vida Loca", and Mercurio, who's looked pretty
impressive in dark matches and house shows as of late.

Estrada and Tokyo started off, and exchanged some quick moves, with
Estrada getting the better of the exchange following a back heel kick.
Estrada then continued to pound away on Tokyo for a little bit, until
Marvin felt that he just *had* to do something, and ran into the ring,
but Mercurio cut him off.  So, just two minutes into the match, all
four men are in the ring, brawling.  Tokyo then caught Estrada with a
crucifix for two, then Marvin hit Estrada with a rolling reverse
cradle for two, which the crowd loved.  Marvin then hits a vertical
suplex on Estrada, and seems to have the upper hand on the experienced
rudo...  Until Estrada almost clotheslined Marvin out of his boots.  A
spinebuster got two, and Estrada tagged in Mercurio.  We got to see
the newcomers go at it, with Mercurio cornering Marvin and pummeling
him with some punches to the head, until both men hit each other with
a double clothesline, and Marvin made the hot tag to Tokyo.  Now, I'll
give Mercurio credit - he tried.  But when you get clotheslined as
soon as you get up, you're not in very good shape, to say the least.
Marvin managed to hold up Estrada on the outside, while Mercurio
managed to backdrop Tokyo out of the ring, and nail him with a TOPE!
Mercurio runs back into the ring, and goes for another tope, but
Tokyo...  MOVES OUT OF THE WAY!  Estrada slams Marvin into the
guardrail, and Tokyo picks up Mercurio...  VIAGRA DRIVER ON THE FLOOR!
That does it!  Tokyo rolls Mercurio into the ring, and jumps up onto
the top rope...  AV STAR PRESS!  One...  two...  THREE!!!  ESTRADA
NEVER SAW IT COMING!

Magnum Tokyo and Ricky Marvin defeated Jerry Estrada and Mercurio when
M. Tokyo pinned Mercurio with the AV Star Press in 0:06:46.

After the match, Tradicion stormed out, while Tokyo grabbed Marvin,
and made a rather hasty exit.  So, poor Mercurio's left all alone in
the ring with Tradicion, and you can kind of guess what happens...  Or
not.  Aguila and Mr. Niebla ran out, and chased off Tradicion, leaving
Mercurio in the ring with two tecnicos.  Aguila and Niebla helped
Mercurio up, but he wasn't very appreciative of their help, shoving
Aguila.  Niebla ran over, but got decked with a punch.  Mercurio then
tried to do more damage on Niebla, but Aguila dropkicked him from
behind.  Aguila suplexed Mercurio, then waited for Niebla to get up...
DOUBLE DDT!  Aguila and Niebla leave the ring, while Mercurio is
helped to the back.  ...That didn't seem right at all.  But Mercurio
asked for it, I guess.  I mean, you just can't storm in and try to
make an immediate impact...

After that mess, it's announced that there's going to be a eight-man
main event tonight - A team selected by Rey Misterio Jr. against a
team selected by Blue Demon Jr. will face each other tonight.  In the
back, Misterio's with Octagon, and both men agree that this is going
to be a great team.  Has Misterio actually found a team already?

In the back, Blue Demon Jr.'s looking for people to join his team for
the main event tonight.  In other words, he doesn't quite have the
connections that Misterio has.  Luckily, he manages to run into Black
Warrior, and after a little bit of talking, Warrior shakes Demon Jr.'s
hand.  One down, two to go.

MATCH #2: Felino vs. Shiiba vs. Gran Apache - THREE-WAY DANCE

This is pretty interesting.  Before the match, Apache said that if
Shiiba *didn't* pin Felino...  Shiiba doesn't want to know what's
going to happen.  However, Apache feels...  pity...  for Shiiba, so
it's become a three-way dance.  Felino doesn't mind, saying that he
can count on Heavy Metal and Negro Casas to back him up if the going
gets tough.  And so we begin...

Felino and Shiiba lock up for a few seconds, as Apache watches.
Nothing too fancy - just a few counters and reversals, until Felino
clotheslines Shiiba, and follows with an elbowdrop.  Felino hits a
power bomb, which gets two, and looks to be going for the Splash
Mountain right away...  But Apache breaks it up.  Figures.  Apache and
Felino then go at it, with Apache having the general advantage,
hitting a mean double underhook faceslam for a near fall.  Apache and
Shiiba then hit some double-team moves on Felino, such as a double
dropkick and a double clothesline.  Apache then sat in the corner,
letting Shiiba continue the assault on Felino.  Shiiba nails Felino
with a DDT, but that only gets two.  Same with a pair of snap
suplexes.  Shiiba finally goes up top...  FROG SPLASH!!!  This should
do it...  One...  two...  NO!!!  FELINO KICKED OUT AT THE LAST SECOND!
Shiiba picks Felino up, and whips him into the ropes...  SHOULDERBLOCK
BY FELINO!  Felino takes Shiiba down with a jumping side kick, and
hits another power bomb...  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  That almost did
Shiiba in!  Felino signals for the finish, and picks up Shiiba...
APACHE DROPKICKS FELINO OVER THE TOP ROPE!  Shiiba looks like he's
going to fall out, but Apache catches him, as the ref checks on
Felino!  Apache and Shiiba exchange some words...  BOOT TO THE
MIDSECTION BY APACHE!  WHAT THE HELL?  Apache puts Shiiba in
position...  OH, NO!  NO!!!  PILEDRIVER!!!  APACHE'S HAD ENOUGH!!!
That was the coup de grace!  Apache spits on Shiiba's limp body...
AND COVERS HIM???  The referee turns around, and looks pretty
confused, but it *is* a three-way dance, after all...  One...  two...
THREE!  Like Shiiba was going to kick out after that...

Non-Title-Triangle Match:
Gran Apache defeated Shiiba and Felino when Apache pinned Shiiba after
a piledriver in 0:05:59.

...but he's hurt.  Bad.  The EMT's come out right away, and after a
few minutes, manage to put Shiiba on a stretcher and take him to a
local hospital.  Meanwhile, Apache has to be lead away by security, as
the fans were tossing whatever they could find at them.  Felino looked
on, stunned, before making his way to the back, as well.

Demon Jr.'s still in the back, looking for another person for the
team...  And he finds Pentagon next to a water cooler.  Needless to
say, Pentagon and Demon Jr. haven't seen eye to eye lately.  Words
turn into insults, until Pentagon tosses a glass of water into Demon
Jr.'s face.  Demon Jr. begs off, and says that Octagon's on Misterio's
team.  Pentagon reconsiders, and warns Demon Jr. that if he screws
with him in the main event, he's dead.  Demon Jr. just nods, and both
men walk away.

MATCH #3: Aguila and Mr. Niebla vs. Ultimo Guerrero and Moto Cross -
ONE FALL

Interesting match.  Aguila and Mr. Niebla, who taught Mercurio a
lesson early on, face the #1 Contenders to the Mexican National Tag
Titles (which are thought to be in limbo...), Ultimo Guerrero and Moto
Cross.

Guerrero and Niebla start off, and after Guerrero misses a flying
cross body press early on, Niebla hits a flurry of chops and punches,
culminating in him hitting his Frankensteiner out of nowhere!  One...
two...  Of course, Moto Cross makes the save.  You can't deny that
Guerrero and Moto Cross have excellent chemistry as a team.  Niebla
gets tangled up with Moto Cross for a few seconds, allowing Guerrero
to hit him with a flying clothesline from behind.  Spinebuster by
Guerrero gets two, followed by...  Well, he's trying to choke Niebla
out, I guess.  The referee forces the break, and Niebla switches off
with Aguila.  Guerrero decides that he'll make the exchange to Moto
Cross, as well, but Aguila catches him with a springboard dropkick as
soon as he enters.  Aguila hits Moto Cross with a moonsault, but only
gets a two count out of it.  After an armbar, Aguila slams Moto Cross
down to the mat, and goes for an Asai moonsault bodyblock...  NOBODY
HOME!  Moto Cross clotheslines Aguila out of the ring...  FLYING CROSS
BODY TO THE OUTSIDE!  Guerrero holds Aguila, while Moto Cross hits him
with a jumping side kick, before tossing Aguila back into the ring.
Moto Cross goes up top, looking for a moonsault of his own...  NIEBLA
SHOVES HIM OFF THE TOP ROPE!  Both men get to their feet, but Aguila's
up first...  CLOTHESLINE!  Aguila heads up top...  GUERRERO SHOVES
AGUILA OFF THE TOP ROPE!  It looked like he was going for the 450
Splash, but Guerrero broke up that attempt!  Moto Cross goes up top
again, looking for a moonsault...  IT CONNECTS!  One...  two...
SHOULDER UP AT TWO!  Moto Cross picks Aguila up, and goes for a
cradle...  AGUILA REVERSES IT!!!  One...  two...  GUERRERO COMES IN
AND RE-REVERSES IT!!!  One...  two...  Guerrero dropkicks Niebla...
THREE!!!

Ultimo Guerrero and Moto Cross defeated Mr. Niebla and Aguila when M.
Cross pinned Aguila after a rolling cradle in 0:09:24.
Rating: * 3/4

And now...  It's time for the main event!  Misterio and Octagon come
out first, followed by...  EL HIJO DEL SANTO!  Those three make their
way to the ring, as a certain someone's music begins to play...

WHAT THE HELL???

The fourth partner is...

XOCHITL HAMADA!!!

Talk about an odd pairing!  Maybe they recruited Xochitl because
Pentagon's on the other team?  Who knows?

Meanwhile, Demon Jr. and Black Warrior almost have to drag Pentagon
out there, as he's yelling that Misterio's team is "unfair" and is
stacked against him.  Demon Jr. tells the four that he couldn't find a
fourth partner, so if Xochitl could just leave the ring, we can have a
six man tag.

No dice.

Demon Jr. and friends prepare to get into the ring...  WHOA!!!  RIE
TAMADA!!!  SHE JUST JUMPED XOCHITL HAMADA FROM BEHIND!!!  What the
hell is this?  Demon Jr., Black Warrior and Pentagon jump into the
ring, and Tropicasas rings for the bell!

MAIN EVENT: El Hijo Del Santo, Octagon, Rey Misterio Jr. and Xochitl
Hamada vs. Black Warrior, Blue Demon Jr., Pentagon and Rie Tamada -
ONE FALL

They pair off in the following order: Hamada/Tamada, Misterio/Demon
Jr., Santo/Warrior and Octagon/Pentagon.  No surprise there.  Tamada
and Hamada are the legal wrestlers in the ring.  Power bomb by
Tamada...  TWO COUNT!  Spinning headscissor takedown by Tamada,
followed by a clothesline, and another cover...  ONLY TWO!  Snap
suplex by Tamada...  BLOCKED!  Hamada counters...  VERTICAL SUPLEX!
Both women make tags, and we have Misterio and Pentagon in the ring
now, and Misterio hits a flying cross body right away...  TWO COUNT!
Pentagon fires back with a series of elbows, followed by a dropkick,
and gets two out of that.  Pentagon brings Misterio into the corner,
but gets a knee to the stomach in reply, and Misterio hits a bulldog
out of the corner!  Spinning headscissor takedown by Misterio,
followed by an armdrag takedown, and then...  SPRINGBOARD THESZ PRESS!
WOW!  One...  two...  KICKOUT!  Pentagon  runs over, and makes the tag
to Demon Jr.!  Misterio gets hit right away with a clothesline,
followed by a nice flying dropkick, which all culminates in Demon Jr.
flipping the bird to Misterio.  Demon Jr...  WANTS OCTAGON?  Misterio
complies, and Octagon's in the ring now.  Demon Jr. catches him with a
kick to the stomach, followed by a series of punches in the neutral
corner...  SPINNING BACKBREAKER!  Warrior comes in, and they hit
Octagon with a double backdrop, followed by a double elbowdrop.  Demon
Jr. taunts Octagon...  FLYING DROPKICK FROM BEHIND BY XOCHITL HAMADA!
Octagon rolls up Demon Jr...  TWO COUNT!  Meanwhile, Tamada and
Xochitl are fighting on the outside, and Xochitl hits her with a
gutwrench suplex!  Octagon tags in Santo, and Demon Jr. gets taken
down with two ranas, which result in a two count!  Xochitl hits Tamada
with a back suplex on the outside, followed by a side suplex!  Now we
have Santo and Pentagon in the ring, and it's hard to keep track of
everything!  Santo goes for the bulldog out of the corner, but
Pentagon blocks it, and slams Santo down to the mat!  On the outside,
Tamada whips Xochitl into the steel steps, and tosses her back into
the ring!  XOCHITL AND PENTAGON!  Pentagon grabs Xochitl, and the fans
are screaming "NO!", but Pentagon's going to do it anyways!  Bodyslam
in the center of the ring, and Pentagon goes off the ropes...  ASAI
MOONSAULT!!!!!  NO!  Everyone's fighting on the outside, and...  WHAT
THE HELL IS THIS???  Someone's making their way through the crowd,
and...  WALKS RIGHT UP TO TAMADA!  What the hell is this?  The person
is dressed in normal street clothes, and her and Tamada are talking...
OOH!  Tamada just shoved her down!  What's that all about?  Both women
are now almost screaming at each other, and Pentagon and Tropicasas
are going over to see what's happening...  AAH!!!  FAUL!!!  XOCHITL
HAMADA HIT PENTAGON WITH A FAUL!!!  NOBODY SAW IT!!!  Xochitl with the
rollup, and Tropicasas turns around in time...  One...  two...
THREE!!!

Octagon, El Hijo Del Santo, Rey Misterio Jr. and Xochitl Hamada
defeated Black Warrior, Blue Demon Jr., Pentagon and Rie Tamada when
X. Hamada pinned Pentagon after a low blow in 0:12:50.
Rating: **

What the holy hell is going on here?  We have Tamada and an unknown
women yelling at each other, we have Pentagon rolling around on the
ground, we have Xochitl Hamada on her knees, getting her hand raised,
and we have the others fighting on the outside!  What a way to end the
show!  ...I guess.
