A decent, long match to start
things off tonight. America and
Mercurio looked good tonight,
and not surprisingly, both men scored
falls to lead the rudos
to victory. Rayo II had to be helped to the
back after Mercurio's Liger
Bomb, but he's OK, from what we last
heard.
Welcome to AAA TV, coming to you from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico!
We cut right away to the
back, where AAA officials are trying to calm
down Blue Demon Jr., who
is throwing a temper tantrum! Want to know
why? Well, if you
remember what happened last week, Octagon and
Pentagon fought to a no-contest
when Demon Jr. laid Tropicasas out,
and then took out both competitors.
Now, this morning, it was
announced that Demon Jr.
would be fined and punished for his actions.
One of the lines in the
statement was, and I quote: "This match was
supposed to be a #1 Contender
match for the Mexican National
Heavyweight Title.
If the referee, Tropicasas, had not been knocked
out, then the winner of
the match would have been the one that was
attacked by Blue Demon Jr.
first, via disqualification. Therefore,
Blue Demon Jr. *must* defend
his Mexican National Heavyweight Title
tonight, against the first
wrestler he hit, which would be Pentagon."
Now you know why Demon Jr.
is ticked.
Also, in the back, Gran Apache
and Shocker enter, with Shiiba carrying
their bags. Apache
says that there's three open slots for matches
tonight, and he's claimed
all of them. First off, Shiiba will tag
with Moto Cross to face
Heavy Metal and Felino. Apache stared at
Shiiba, and warned him *not*
to mess up. As for Shocker, he needs a
challenge, and so he'll
tag with Jerry Estrada and Psicosis to face
Rey Misterio Jr., Mr. Niebla
and Magnum Tokyo. And as for Apache? He
wanted revenge, so he'll
tag with the unlikely pairing of Abismo Negro
and Ultimo Guerrero to face
the trio of Perro Aguayo, Matt Hardy and
Negro Casas. Shiiba
doesn't like his match, while Shocker just
shrugs, and goes off to
get ready.
Meanwhile, Pentagon has just
been told that he's getting the title
shot against Demon Jr. later
on tonight, and looks surprised... Then
demands to know where the
acting AAA Commissioner, Colin MacKinnon,
is. ...WHAT?
MATCH #1: Aguila
(c) vs. Sangre Chicana - Mexican National Light
Heavyweight Title
Match - ONE FALL
OK... You'd figure
that this would have the potential to be a decent
match, with Aguila being
in it and all, as well as the fact that
Tradicion wasn't at ringside.
Right? RIGHT?
..Wrong.
This match was terrible.
They locked up, and Aguila did hit a nice
spin kick early on, knocking
Chicana off of his feet. Then, Aguila
missed a springboard dropkick,
and Chicana took control. First,
Chicana locked on a chokehold,
then choked Aguila with his boot, then
choked Aguila against the
ropes. Notice a pattern here? Chicana hits
a DDT for two, then hits
a bodyslam. After playing to the crowd for a
bit, Chicana sets up Aguila
in the corner, and hits him with some
punches and kicks.
Then he whip Aguila into the other corner, runs in
with a clothesline, and
continues with his offensive onslaught.
Chicana hits a pair of shoulderblocks,
then after another bodyslam,
drops an elbow onto Aguila
for two. One elbowsmash later, Chicana
clotheslines Aguila to the
outside. Chicana then rams Aguila into the
ringsteps, and DDT's him
onto the concrete floor. Chicana rolls
Aguila back in, and goes
to climb the top rope... AND MISSES!
There's your turning point
right there, guys. Both men get up, and
Aguila ducks a clothesline,
countering with one of his own. Aguila
hits a springboard armdrag
takedown, followed by a spin kick, and
Chicana goes down!
Aguila leaps to the top rope... 450 SPLASH!
One... two...
THREE! AGUILA RETAINS THE TITLE! In any event, the
fans were really into this
one.
Aguila
pinned Sangre Chicana with the 450 Splash in 0:06:34.

outside Colin's office, pacing back and
forth.
MATCH #2: Felino and Heavy Metal vs. Moto Cross and Shiiba - ONE FALL
OK, this is more like it.
Metal and Moto Cross start off. Both men
trade off armdrag takedowns,
and Moto Cross spits at Metal! Metal
charges, and gets taken
down with a snap suplex, followed by a stomp.
Moto Cross then hits a rana
for two. A chinlock is applied by Moto
Cross, but Metal shoves
him away. However, Moto Cross ducks a
clothesline by Metal, and
counters with a jack-knife power bomb for
two. The tag is made
to a somewhat reluctant Shiiba, and Metal
manages to make it to the
top rope... FLYING DROPKICK ON SHIIBA! A
stiff slap to Shiiba's face
by Metal, followed by a dropkick! Felino
comes in, and poor Shiiba
now has to taste a double dropkick, thanks
to the tecnicos. Both
men hit each other with a double clothesline,
but Metal bounces right
back up, and covers Shiiba for a one count.
However, Metal doesn't notice
Moto Cross on the top rope! Shiiba goes
for a dropkick, but Metal
steps out of the way... ASAI MOONSAULT BY
MOTO CROSS! Great
move, and it seems Moto Cross is going to replace
Shiiba in the ring...
One... two... KICKOUT! Back suplex now by
Moto Cross... One...
two... SHOULDER UP! After a few more stomps,
Moto Cross tags in Shiiba
again, who hits Metal with a clothesline.
Shiiba tries again...
NO! Crucifix by Metal... TWO COUNT! Shiiba
goes for a punch, but Metal
blocks it and counters! A spin kick by
Metal rocks Shiiba, and
he follows up with a... SPINEBUSTER! One...
two... KICKOUT!
Felino wants the tag, and the crowd wants him to get
it! Metal goes over...
OOH! Shiiba attacks from behind! Gutwrench
suplex... One...
two... NO! KICKOUT! The quick tag is made to
Moto Cross, who hits Metal
with a flying axhandle! Moto Cross whips
Metal into the ropes, and
comes out of the corner... BULLDOG! That
could do it... One...

once again tags in Shiiba,
who hits a nice spinning neckbreaker on
Metal... One...

into the ropes, but he blocks
it... SPINNING BACKBREAKER! Metal goes
over... AND TAGS FELINO
IN! Moto Cross gets dropkicked! Shiiba gets
clotheslined! Felino
is as fresh as can be, and he grabs Moto
Cross... GERMAN SUPLEX!
Felino gets up, and blocks a punch from
Shiiba... BOOT TO
THE MIDSECTION! Look out... SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!!
THIS IS IT! One...

Tough loss for Shiiba there,
and you can be sure Gran Apache won't
like that one bit...
Cut to the inside of Colin's
office, where Colin is talking to
Pentagon. Pentagon,
first off, can't believe he's getting a title
shot, but he wants some
things straightened up first. First off, he
wants Xochitl Hamada to
be banned from ringside. No problem, Colin
says. Then, Pentagon
demands that TROPICASAS be the referee for this
match! Colin looked
a bit confused, then decided to grant Pentagon's
wish. Satisfied, Pentagon
left Colin's office, while the acting AAA
Commissioner muttered to
himself, "Is he nuts?"
MATCH #3: Matt
Hardy, Negro Casas and Perro Aguayo vs. Abismo Negro,
Gran Apache and
Ultimo Guerrero - ONE FALL
Perro and Guerrero start
off, and Guerrero learns pretty quickly that
you can *not* suplex Perro
right off the bat. Guerrero gets taken
down with a reversal, then
Perro goes right after him with a series of
chops to the corner, followed
by a boot to the stomach. Guerrero
makes the hot tag to Abismo
Negro, and both men stare each other down.
Abismo slaps Perro, and
Perro returns the favor almost immediately.
They lock up, and Abismo
hits Perro with a nice belly-to-back suplex,
but can't get a jack-knife
power bomb off, as Perro blocks it. Perro
goes for a dropkick, but
Abismo moves out of the way, and goes for a
flying somersault splash...
BUT PERRO MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Perro
attacks with a back suplex,
then goes off the ropes... VICIOUS
CLOTHESLINE BY ABISMO!
Perro goes over to tag in Matt Hardy, but
Abismo decks him with a
clothesline as well! Hardy gets dropkicked
into the corner, and Abismo
follows with a double underhook suplex.
Abismo grabs Hardy...
POWER BOMB! One... two... KICKOUT! Abismo
slams Hardy to the mat,
and goes to the top rope... BUT MISSES A
MOONSAULT! Both men
get up, and Hardy plants Abismo with a swinging
neckbreaker! As soon
as Abismo gets up, he's taken down with a
spinning headscissor takedown,
followed up by a dropkick! Abismo
makes the tag to Guerrero,
and Hardy tags in Perro. Perro and
Guerrero lock up, but not
before Hardy drills Guerrero with a spin
kick to the back of the
head! Back suplex by Perro, followed by a
chinlock. Guerrero
manages to free himself, and tags in Gran
Apache... OOH!
DDT by Apache on Perro, followed by a backdrop!
Apache came out on fire!
The cover... TWO COUNT! Apache whips Perro
into the corner, but Perro
moves out of the way, and Apache's a little
dazed... SAMOAN DROP
BY PERRO! The cover... One... two...
KICKOUT! Not yet!
Perro waits for Apache to get up... AND TAGS IN
NEGRO CASAS! Casas
unloads on Apache with a series of punches to the
head, and whips him into
the corner, but Apache counters with a kick
to Casas' head...
REVERSE NECKBREAKER! What a move! Apache takes
Casas... POWER BOMB!
One... two... PERRO MAKES THE SAVE! Apache
climbs up to the top rope...
FLYING SENTON! One... two... THREE!!!
APACHE PINNED CASAS!
...WAIT! Casas' foot was on the ropes! The
match is going to continue,
but Casas has already tagged in Perro.
Both men exchange blows,
culminating in a vertical suplex by Apache,
as Guerrero runs in...
FLYING BODYPRESS! One... two... NO! TWO
COUNT ONLY! Guerrero
and Perro are in the ring again! Guerrero hits
Perro with a DDT, and sets
him up on the top rope... Uh-oh...
REVERSE SUPERPLEX!
UPSET IN THE MAKING! One... two... THREE!!!
NO!!! PERRO GOT HIS
SHOULDER UP AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND!
GUERRERO CAN'T BELIEVE IT!
He picks Perro up... MATT HARDY NAILS
GUERRERO FROM BEHIND WITH
A FLYING DROPKICK! Perro's up on his
feet... BODYSLAM!
The other four men are fighting on the outside,
and Perro's going off the
ropes... DOUBLE STOMP! One... two...
THREE!!! Good match!

In the back, Pentagon is
getting ready for his big title match,
when... Uh-oh...
Xochitl Hamada walks into his dressing room.
Pentagon does *not* want
Xochitl anywhere near him, and yells at her
to get out of his dressing
room. Pouting, Xochitl says that she
wishes Pentagon the best
of luck tonight, and that she's sorry she
can't watch the match at
ringside. This ticks Pentagon off again, and
he demands that Xochitl
exit the room. Xochitl just sighs, and once
again wishes Pentagon luck.
Of course, Pentagon is ignoring Xochitl,
so Xochitl mutters under
her breath as she exits, "...you'll need it."
Meanwhile, Shiiba's talking
to Shocker in the back. Shiiba seems to
be explaining something
to Shocker, but Shocker just sighs and shakes
his head. "You know,
Shiiba, Apache just isn't impressed with you
right now. If you
don't start putting out in the ring, he isn't going
to give you any respect,
and next thing you know, you'll be out on
your ass. Just stay
calm, and don't worry about it. Just try to win.
I'm counting on you."
That sounded fine... Except for the fact that
Shocker said the above quote
in English. Poor Shiiba looks confused,
and you have to wonder -
Are Apache and Shocker torturing Shiiba, or
do they have other plans
for him?
MATCH #4: Magnum
Tokyo, Mr. Niebla and Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Jerry
Estrada, Psicosis
and Shocker - ONE FALL
Highlight mode is on for
this one, because we *really* need to show
the main event. At
least, that's what I've heard.
- Misterio tosses Psicosis
out of the ring early on, and rams him into
the ringsteps and guardrail,
as a brawl breaks out on the outside!
- As soon as they get back
into the ring... FAUL! FAUL BY PSICOSIS!
The referee was distracted
with the brawl on the outside, and Psicosis
took advantage!
- Psicosis hits a senton
for two, and tags in Estrada.
- Boston crab by Estrada,
followed by a backbreaker, but Misterio
still isn't giving up.
- Back heel kick by Estrada
gets two.
- Estrada misses a clothesline,
and Rey slides to his corner and tags
in Niebla.
- Niebla goes for an octopus
hold, but Estrada counters that with a
facerake.
- Spinebuster by Estrada
gets two.
- Same with a nice slingshot
somersault splash.
- Niebla manages to make
the hot tag to Tokyo.
- Tokyo and Estrada trade
punches for what seems like a good 20-30
seconds, before Estrada
counters the Viagra Driver with a hiptoss.
- Estrada tags in Shocker.
- However, Estrada and Shocker
have a little bit of a
miscommunication, and Tokyo
dropkicks Estrada out of the ring!
- Frankensteiner by Tokyo
gets two.
- Tokyo hits a double underhook
suplex, but takes a little time to
dance for the ladies, and
Shocker makes him pay with a dropkick from
behind.
- Spinning headscissor takedown
by Shocker, followed by a lateral
press for two.
- Shocker pauses as Tokyo
gets up... Then hits a flying cross body
press for a near fall!
- Shocker hits a rana, then
goes for a second one, but Tokyo counters
with a tiger driver, and
gets a near fall of his own!
- Spin kick by Tokyo, followed
by a vertical suplex.
- Tag made to Niebla.
- Niebla backdrops Psicosis,
who runs in to make the save for Shocker,
then hits Psicosis with
a rana for two.
- German suplex by Niebla
*might* have won the match for the tecnicos,
but Estrada made the save.
- Psicosis then locks on
an armbar submission, and when Niebla breaks
it, slaps another one on.
- Short clothesline by Psicosis,
followed by a pretty cocky cover,
which gets a two count before
Tokyo breaks it up.
- Tokyo's now in as Niebla
rolls out, and he goes for the Viagra
Driver, but Psicosis counters
with a hiptoss like Estrada did, but
this time, Tokyo hits a
backslide off the counter for a two count.
- Tokyo finally picks up
Psicosis... VIAGRA DRIVER!
- Tokyo sets up Psicosis
in the corner, and goes for the AV Star
Press, but Shocker steps
in the ring, standing over Psicosis! Tokyo
more or less points to Shocker,
as if to say, "You want some of
this?", but Tokyo doesn't
look behind him... ESTRADA BRAINS HIM WITH
A CHAIR! TOKYO FALLS
OFF THE TOP ROPE!
- Psicosis manages to get
to the top rope, and hit the Flying Legdrop!
One... two...

Considering what happened,
that was an upset! Demon Jr. quickly makes
his way backstage, as Pentagon
stands at ringside in shock, realizing
that he was *this* close
to becoming the new champion! He just took
one risk too many, however,
and that cost him the match, and the
title. Pentagon shakes
his head as he goes to the back, and the fans,
despite everything that
just happened, the crowd gives Pentagon a
quick round of applause,
but Pentagon doesn't notice.
And with that, we fade to black.
